it would make sense if Linderman healed himself, he is a healer. I hope linderman is not the Petrlli’s father, more storyline line with another father. I saw DL alive in the prewiews for next week. I was wondering is the future already different because of the actions of Jessica/DL. I thought Linderman was going to ensure Petrelli to the Presidency?

I didn’t meant to imply that I thought Claire was a descentant of Linderman’s because I thought they had similiar power, Sue. I was speculating as to whether Nathan and/or Peter could be Linderman’s son and if the man who is supposed to be their father (Papa Petrelli) had a power. Separate from that, I was also speculating that since Linderman could return a dying plant to bloom and fix Nathan’s wife’s injuries so she could walk again that perhaps he could also heal himself from DL reaching in his head an grabbing his brain. No where did I say that I thought Peter might be Linderman’s son because I thought Claire had the same power as Linderman.

Linderman can’t be Nathan’s father, Nathan was 3 when Papa Petrelli met Linderman in Vietnam. Now Peter on the other hand….

Just because Claire has healing powers doesn’t mean she’s a descendent of Linderman. Their powers are different. And look at Micah - his is totally different from Niki’s or DL’s powers. It’s not the specific power itself that’s genetic, but the *ability* to have a special power; something in the DNA that enhances natural abilities. Without that DNA mutation, Micah might be an electronic whiz and Clair a gifted doctor or something of that order.

I wonder if Nathan will become the hero versus the villian. Maybe his love for his daughter will make him sacrifice himself by grabbing Sylar and exploding in the atmosphere high above NY?

I, too, think Linderman might be Nathan’s father. He may or maybe also be Peter’s father. I think I recall Linderman telling Nathan in this episode that his father had a power, whether Linderman was refering to himself or the man thought to be Nathan and Peter’s father. That could explain Peter’s powers if Peter’s and Nathan’s (supposed) father had a power also, then Nathan could either have the same father as Peter or have Linderman as his father. I highly doubt that Peter is Linderman’s son. I also have some suspect that Nathan and Peter’s mother has a power and it just has not yet been revealed.

This is my DL/Linderman dying theory: I thought I saw DL alive, hurt or not I’m not sure, in the previews for next week. I think that since Linderman’s power is to heal, he will be able to heal himself like Claire can. I think he will also heal DL. But I can’t imagine why.

I heard that next week’s episode is going to be 2 hours, so that might help to fit everything in. What would be great is if they did a commercial-free episode!

Sami…it’s Nathan Petrelli’s wife, not Peter’s.

Kelly…I have a feeling that Linderman is actually their father as well. But he would have to be both because the abilities are genetic. If he wasn’t Peter’s father too then it would have to mean that the mother had the abilities and so far they haven’t eluded to that. The only thing they’ve revealed about the mother is that she knows about the abilities.

I thought Linderman might be the daddy, but would he be crazy enough to let his own son Peter die (unless he’s another guys son)
