They have 2 options on which they way they want to air 1 air the the 24 episodes of herores with maybe a week or 2 break around christmas and then air the 6 episdoes after or do half season a small break like a week or 2 around christmas and then air 6 episodes then the reminder of the season i think it cool we get out fix of heroes and dont have to wait 2 months between new episodes The last episode of 2006 was december 4th and then a new episodes didnt air till january 22nd so adding the 6 episdoes will help in elevating that break
then we can to choose which one we liked the best and they get to coming season 3 how cool is that. That is making us viewers a part of the creative team in picking which heroes would be cool to come in season 3

It's not a spin-off in the sense as CSI or L&O. Origins will be stories about six undiscovered `heroes' and is an interactive thing where the audience can decide which one of them will be included in season three.

Quite a unique idea...

I agree Anne, that it seems hiatus during holiday seasons are growing longer and longer. Also I feel that seasons are getting shorter then they were, though that maybe that many episodes are not really giving new info, and the episodes are no longer stand alone things.

I also find it annoying that you get all these spin-offs CSI, Law and Order and others are taking it to extremes that are un-needed. Spin offs have existed for a long time, BJ and the Bear had Sheriff Lobo; Dukes of Hazzard had the one about Enos; Bionic Man had Bionic Woman. Yet I dont think that many were running concertly as they are now.

I don't think it's a bad idea if they air it during the 6 week hiatus. It would at least give us something Heroes during that time. I hate when primetime shows go on hiatus around the christmas holidays. This past year, the hiatuses seemed even longer than before.

Okay. I love Heroes and everything, but why do people have to take every hit show and try to make a spin-off happen? Why can't they just leave things as they are? Anyways, I loved the episode tonight. I also love this prime time dish page!
