Then I read the writers blog on their site and Shonda did a great job explaining why she does what she does. I suggest if you haven't already read it please go do so. I found that it helped me understand why things went the way they did. It's a finale which means that things will happen that we like and some that we hate. Sadly we have to wait till the fall to see how all these things wrap up. Let's be patient and see what they have in store for us! Hello? She never wanted to get married in the first place. He, himself admitted that he pushed her into everything...like agreeing to get married in the first place. No one should get married like that. How awful to marry someone you don't want to marry...and even more awful to have someone marry you when they don't love you with their whole heart. She was going to regret this starting day 1. I'm just surprised that he finally realized she wasn't really on-board and cut loose first. I say thank goodness! The biggest thing that made me mad though was how when Burke walked out he said that Christina shouldn't think she wanted it, she should know. I took her saying that meaning she thought she wanted that kind of wedding. I mean hell...she put up with so much to marry him. She even had her eyebrows removed!! Think about it, season 1 Meredith finds out Derek is married, and season 2, Denny dies so this cliff hanger was brillant because there were more than 1 cliff hanger. I have to admit I was outraged when the episode aired because how can they do this to Bailey?? Bailey made a better chief resident than Callie..I think Callie is leaving, I'm not postive but she finds out eventually about George and Izzy and of course she's not going to stay after that. I also think the chief is going to give Bailey a big ole explaination for not making her chief like, If you dont' spend more time with your family you are going to lose them, I mean he's been telling her in some episodes to go home and she never does so I think that was his reason, it's the same reason he told Derek a long time ago. All I know is I don't want George to leave!! THATS MY GEORGEY!!! I love T.R Knight and I hope they keep him. Burke I don't know, I mean someone is going to leave eventually..one day but I don't think he's leaving just yet. I completely agree that Bailey needs more story lines and I believe its comeing up one day. I just can't wait for next season. The writers needed to give us some hope. First to address the whole Derek and Meredith thing - Derek was a dog - he distanced himself from her when he thought he would not get chief. Then basically said she should make the choice. I hope that Laci pursues Derek and schemes to get him and hurt Meredith, and then Meredith grows some and Derek and her are better for it. As for Christina and Burke they needed this time apart and she needed to realize what he means to her. I think Callie should dismiss George - Izzie whines too much and Bailey should get more story lines. Christina's meltdown was not only fabulous acting, but we've finally seen that she truly cared about Burke, not just being a surgeon with a partner. She didn't even know until he'd left how much she really wanted him, I think it will be interesting to see how this unfolds next year. Bailey choked me up too, when she talked to George, and I thought the Chief had lost Adele too (wipe tear). Certainly not what I expected but is that not what we really want in a show?
