Gina was one of the best contestants…she did not deserve to go home so early. There were at least 3 or 4 people who should have went home before her. For me, this was the most disappointing elimination of the season. And as for Sanjya…He never should have made it into the top 24!! Oh well, 6 months till next season!

I also want to say the Gwen performance was the left overs, from the Idol gives back episode. They had to cut that video feed, because they ran out of time, so they showed it lastnight. The Green Day performance was taped earlier in the day, so it was pre-taped, because they didn’t want to stay for the whole finale. And, neither of those performances fit in with that night…

Gellie, I’m with you, Blake is better than Jordin. But, I’m sad that he came in second, he should have came in third. Main reason why I say that is, AI has as much control over the second place winner as they do the first place winner. So, I hope he gets to make the kind of album he wants with no problem. He is very talented and not just performance wise, he is a good singer also. Maybe he doesn’t have a balled singing voice, but that doesn’t mean his voice isn’t enjoyable. So, heres hoping he does great in the music world.

Yay!!! Fake Disney singer Jordin won… This was the worst AI finale ever. I’m not a Jordin fan, but that is not the reason why AI was so horrible lastnight. First, what was with all the old singers ((Bette Midler, Tony Bennett, Smokey Robbinson, and so on…)), this isn’t suppose to be Retirement Home Idol. Second, where was the top 12?. I realize Britney Spears was a no show for her duet with Sanjaya ((good for her)). Jordin, didn’t even get her duet with the “Dream Girls”, because Beyonce was a no show, but still, she could have sang with Jennifer Hudson. Why did they cut Phil’s performance with Joe Perry, Chris Richardson’s duet with Rascal Flatts, and Blake’s performance with Katharine McPhee((spelling?)). And, why the hell did they have those stupid Golden Idol Awards???

For everyone that missed the last 6 minutes, just go to youtube and you should be able to catch it there. Dustin I love your sites, I work a ton of hours every week and your site keeps me up to date on all of the last mintue things i miss when I am trying to stay awake but my body just doesn’t let me.

I’m really sad taht blake lost but I guess it is better that way because he can make any album he wants instead of what AI wants. In the end, I will always believe that blake is better than Jordin.

I’m probably one of few that don’t watch American Idol. I did, however, watch Jordin sing once. I thought she did a great job, and I’m glad she won.

I was really bummed last night. I had my DVR set to record the show and the show must have lasted longer then the two hours. It stopped recording right at 10. I never got to see the ending, I’m so sad.
