Big Brother: Eviction and the Final HOH Comp!
So tonight it was no surprise, Jameka was evicted.
Zack, Danielle and Dick are playing for the final HOH, which is a three part competition. First up was an endurance round, where they had to stand on platforms and try not to fall off as various obstacles were thrown at them. Danielle unfortunately has fallen and is sobbing hysterically. Zack and Dick are left up, Dick is screaming how he will stand here all night long, and spouting obscenities at Zack, who is just laughing.
Sorry Dick and Danielle fans, I’m rooting for Zack to win it and send Danielle home, because as he pointed out to Dick tonight, nobody in the jury house will vote for him.
*update* Zack won the first round of HOH. The second will be today and the third on Thursday. The winner of Big Brother 8 I believe is declared next Tuesday the 18th.
*update2* It appears Dick won round 2 of the HOH competition.

I’m with you two!! It’s funny, because in the begining, I wanted Zach to win just because he was a graphics illustrator (my occupation obviously;lol) and as the season went along and he bored me completly, I started rooting for others…and now he’s my only hope keeping the Danitos from taking this home!! although I have been rooting for Dick, after his last tantrumlike a big baby at Zac when he put Dick and Dani up I have had enough of Dick. He just cant take his own medicine…sore loser! I think Dani would win agianst Zac but I think Zac would win against Dick! Could you imagine all the crap that will come out of Dick’s mouth if Zac wins. I hope he doesnt attack him, I would not put it past him. Zac does a great job of ignoring him and keeping his cool. I feel sorry for Dani because I am sure she has had to endure that her whole life.
I hope Zac wins gets rid of Dick adn Dani wins. Sorry I think she played the best game.

I’m indifferent to the results at this point. I don’t like any of these people. I find Dick hilarious and could live with it if he wins, but we all know he’d never get the votes. Zach is just a floater who gets on my nerves and hasn’t earned the money IMHO. He stepped up when he finally got nominated, but he glided through 80% of the show.
And Daniele…well, Daniele is a bitch. Nobody wants the villain to win!
By the way Dustin, any idea what was going on earlier tonight? First, it seemed to me that Daniele was “unfairly” disqualified, like Jameka was. She said something about the bunny stopping or something and “What was I supposed to do?”…I don’t know, but they cut to a commercial on After Dark just before she got eliminated, which seems fishy to me.
And now they have been showing the SR for a very long time, and on Joker’s they mentioned the feed showing Zach celebrating (as if he won?) and Dick yelling at the producers…and then it comes back, and they are still competing.
I’m confused.

I wonder if Dick and Dani will hatch some kind of plan for the 2nd round. Usually the final round of HoH is trivia, and Dani is better at that than Dick is, so I wonder if he’ll throw it to her so she can compete in the final round on Thursday.

dick chose to take off his shoes a few minutes into the competition. So that is his fault. D&D also discussed wearing hats n stuff a couple days before it. I guess they were too busy bragging to give the next competition a thought.

Let me add to that: Tonight was the most I’ve ever seen Dani caring about her Dad, even if there are selfish undertones (wanting to win the game). Telling him how proud she was of him, mouthing “I love you” to him to give him strength. Even when he gave in she didn’t give him her usual hard time, she ran to him trying to warm him up, bringing him warm drinks..
It’s touching, I have to say.
She showed real concern for him. There might be a good person under all that hairdye after all.

I guess I am disappointed also, first because round two is going to be lame, they are going to discuss which one of them should win to compete in round three and that will be that. Secondly, Zach’s game has been to have no game and that is irritating to me, he didn’t start playing until there was no one left to hide behind. ED’s game was intimidation and I don’t really see how those people let that work either, come on grow up, grow a pair and play your game!

If Z doesn’t win I would like to see Dani win just because I think she will not give any to Dick. I think she will go another couple of years without talking to him. Then Dick would see that he did all for nuthin. She will never fell the same way towards him as he does her. I believe if Z win HOH she will roll Dick under the bus as quick as she can.

Dani has said that if she wins, she’ll use some of the money to finish college. Her Hooters paycheck must not be enough to cover those expenses!
And I agree about Dani only being nice to Dick when it benefits her. Other times, when he’s trying to play the fatherly role, she totally withdraws from him.
I’m curious about how BB will deal with the sharing money issue if one of them wins. There are supposedly rules against it, or at least there have been in previous years. There has always been alliance talk about sharing, but they usually are quieted about it pretty quickly and shown the rule book.

I disagree about Zach spending the entire summer in the background. There were many times where he’d try to start relationships and people were just making fun of him behind his back and avoiding him. I hope Zach wins the big prize. Danielle is a backstabbing whiner (ala betraying Jessica and that rodent Eric)–Dick is just as bad, and all he can tout is that “at least he’s honest”–yeah, right! He is the most immature excuse for a 44 year old man that I’ve ever seen. If he keeps up with his ridiculous Halloween look for another 10-20 years, he’ll be the oddest senior citizen in America! I am not sure how many of you saw this or not but Dick wasn’t messing with Zach at first. Last night during the competition Dani mouthed to Dick to rip into Zach, that is why he did it. He would do anything for his daughter, just as anyone else with kids will do. However, I do not condone his behavior, and I really don’t think he is like that outside of the house. But it is the only side that we are seeing. Dani is the one pulling Dick’s strings, even when he was messing with Dustin et al.

Ya I heard dani say she was goingto use it for school but will she really. Hopefully she will put some good use to the money if she wins. I am still rooting for zach even though i Haven’t been all summer. I think he was playing stragy to sit in the background this whole summer and let them pick each other off and then he stepped up his game when he new he had to. He knows his only chance was to win round 1 to go to round 3 and not to risk round 2. In seasons past people have counted on round 2 and gave up in round 1 to only bite it in there butt so he was smart in that respect to not give up in round 1

I agree that most people would do anything for their child, but Dick is a supposedly a grown man, and the things that came out of his mouth all summer long were totally unacceptable to say to another person: telling Amber she was such an ugly bitch, making fun of people who believe in God, etc…. He uses intimidation to scare people and get his way, and is such a nut case I can’t stand it. Danielle definitely has influenced him, that’s for sure, but it’s his choice to behave like a moron–and then Danielle whines to the other houseguests that “I’m not like him, I’m not my dad”…blah blah blah–she’s sorta right, she’s mostly a behind-the-scenes backstabber. ‘Hated the way she’d say “I’m really sorry” when she’d give her eviction good-bye speeches. She was the one telling loser-dad Dick that she “couldn’t stand being around these people” she didn’t even like. The ONLY reason she acted nice then was to get the evicted houseguest’s vote if she made it to the final two!! I will be so bummed if Zach doesn’t win this thing! Okay, I’ll calm down now…. :o)

I think he prob made it up. I think Zack said that it was mighty white of you but that isn’t a racial slur. I say it and not racist. Other stuff was prob taken out of context because Dick only hears what he wants to. Remember he said that he wanted to mess up Z life outside the game. I am also think that it Dick needs to clean out his own backyard before he attacks someone else’s. Last night he was talking about Z ex being anorexic but look at his own daughter. Z could have played Dick’s game and turned it back on him but he didn’t. Z has more integrity and character than that. As far as people saying he didn’t play the game I think he did. I would have sit back and let the other take each other out before I showed what I could do. So i guess u can say he had the right stragety because it got him to the final 3. If they didnt have Dick and Danielle together in this house they woudnt’ be in the final 3. Dick has used Danielle to get where he has becuase he is counting on her to win all the HOH and POV’s and Danielle is using dick to do her dirty work for her. Zach didnt really ride on anybody he didnt make deals with almost everyone in the house. Like he said he played the game mostly by himself. If anybody rode is was D and D. They made a deal with e and J for the final 4. they went to zach for the final 3 when he won hoh Dani was hanging out with zach a lot so he woudnt put them up. They told jameka she was going out if she didnt make a deal with them. they madea deal with jen to not vote her out if she kept them in the house and she accepted and didnt vote out dick. Dick promised that he wouldn’t be mean to jen and he turned on her pretty quick and started harrasing her again. they voted out Mike becuase he was being loyal to Kail and was trying to get Dick to drop the cup and he threated him by saying he’d go home and he did. Should I go on I think the ones riding was dick and danielle. They jsut used a different way of doing it by threating everybody that they’d go home if they didnt make a deal.

That’s how I think it is Ashle. I know in past seasons, some alliances have tried to come up with a “if our alliance wins we split the money 3 ways” or something like that, and then those hopes always get squashed when BB reminds them of the rules. But as far as buying other people gifts/college with the money, I’m sure that’s all in fair reign. I’ve heard talk of the same thing on Survivor.

Just found this on cbs.com. I think from the beginning CBS was making the show around the Donatos. CBS has really made some mistakes this year.
I live in Ohio and met with a lawyer friend of mine who is going to contact CBS about the rules violation for letting Danielle in the house when she was “NOT 21″ when she applied to be on the show. I have provided my lawyer a copy of the official application that CBS sent me and in fairness to the other houseguests when the show is over my lawyer is going to contact all the players and let them know if Dani wins that they may have a case in court.
Rules are rules. In the house and on the applications.
Danielle knows this is true because we have her comments telling Nick she can’t let the other houseguests know she is only 20. Remember, the 24 hour feed where she told Nick she has to let people in the house think she is 22? This is an admission she knew she violated the age rule.
How dare CBS do this to the viewers? What, couldn’t they find another dumb blonde? Big Brother makes the players play by the rules in the house, so why do this outside the house??? Fairness on BB 8? No way!

I disagree about Jameka and Zach being floaters. I think they both just had a different strategy than the others. They flew under the radar until the last, Zach is smarter than you give him credit for. He constantly worked out; while Dick constantly smoked. I have lived in LA and aw more cases of pneumonia than anywhere I have ever lived. I think the smog has a lot to do with it. With Dick being a smoker and being soaked with the water, I wonder if he may get sick. I don’t wish harm to anyone, but he would certainly deserve it as he is so nasty to others. He does not live by the golden rule — he lives by the satanic rule.

I think it would be hilarious if Zach won the 500k and Dick came in second but gave Dani nothing seeing that the reason they stopped talking a few years ago was due to the fact Dani borrowed money from him and couldn’t pay him back then got mad when he was a jerk about it.
If Zach is in the final 2 it’s hard to tell how the jury will vote. They could vote for Zach out of spite for D&D or admit they were victims of D&D and give it to one of them.
I think the BB application itself is a bit selective when it comes to body type. Correct me if I am wrong but doesn’t the application ask for your body measurement. Is this to weed out people who wouldn’t be appealing in a bikini? I know several larger folks who would make the show very fun to watch.

Dani isn’t the youngest HG ever. Michelle from the X-Factor season was only 18 or 19. I think the age thing isn’t set in stone…they don’t want you to apply if you’re that young, but if they find you and want you (they recruit) for a twist or something - they can bend the age.

It is actually kinda entertaining to see the difference in opinion with D and D. Either you love them or hate them. I personally love them. However I respect the fact that allot of people out there absolutely hate Dick. It is fun to read everyone’s opinion. Hey did they have the 2nd competition yet? I just can’t wait for the season to finally come to an end again then maybe I can get my life back. Everyday when I come home from work I get on the internet to read about what is going on in the house! Is there a big brother annonymous (sorry I can’t spell) lol

I think everyone forgets - its a game and every season has had its alliances, backstabbers, liars and cheats - it is the very reason for the game - they are there to compete for the prize and are encouraged to do whatever they have to to win. This show is an incredible opportunity to observe human beings at their worst. Money/greed/boredom/lonliness will make people do things they otherwise never would.

I am routing for the Donato’s mainly Dick. He is childish and all but he is entertaining and has survived a great deal even after saving his daughter off the block instead of using it on himslef and he still survived eviction, pretty amazing stuff. Zach should be cast on that new show Cavemen that they are airing this Fall, with a little makeup he really could look like one of those characters. I think they all played a good game, and all that make it to the end whether we like it or not, did something right to be there so I can’t wait to see who makes the Final Two tonight, should be fun!! They all break deals. It happens every season. I don’t know why everyone seems so shocked by this. Zack broke his deal with them by nominating them. If she wouldn’t have won POV it wouldn’t be them in the final 3. I just personally find Zack boring boring boring. He may be a fine person outside of the house, but inside - not so much.

I have to say it made me terribly sad to see him go, especially when I could answer some of those questions that he just couldn’t get.
