American Idol: It’s Not Hard To Imagine Who May Win This

So I watched the men on American Idol give it their all tonight. For the most part I wasn’t that impressed. Some where that’s good, a lot were just okay or “safe” as Paula and Randy like to say. I felt Luke Menard, who sang “Killer Queen” did a good job. Of course I love the song, so I may be a bit prejudice there. David Cook sang “All Right Now” and rocked on the guitar. I felt as far as the rocker went, he was the best. As Paula put it “you are the real deal.” Of course the performance of the evening went to the youngster David Archuleta who sang “Imagine.” Paula was in tears and Simon summed it all up, the other 19 are probably miserable right now having heard that performance. I think he may win this whole thing, and the fact that he’s so young is a bonus to him. Going home? I think we’ll be saying goodbye to the Jasons. Jason Yeagers and Jason Castro. Feel free to share your thoughts and you can also vote in the poll over at The Forums as to who you think will go home on Wednesday.

  1. I think Jason Castro will stay. Although, his performance wasn’t that great this week, he was really good last week.

  2. I also think Jason Castro will stay… I barely remember who Jason Yeager is, but kinda think he’ll be headed home, along with, possibly Luke. Personal opinion here, but I’d like to see Robbie Carrico going, I just don’t enjoy his singing or attitude for that matter. But to each his own…

  3. I liked David Archuleta the best and then liked the other David (Hernandez). Everyone else can go home. I don’t mind Michael (the Aussie) but something about him irritates me a bit. Chikezie wasn’t bad this week so he won’t go home. But everyone else was week. I don’t think anyone can touch David A which is what I thought from the first time we saw him. He just makes you smile. Even my husband, who suffers through the show because I make him, likes David A a lot.

  4. This will boggle the mind. I just looked at the dialidol prediction. I can’t remember how accurate they were last year, BUT they put Jason Yeager at #2 and Danny Norriega at #9. Danny hasn’t had good performances the last two weeks so I can see him being on the bubble, but Yeager at 2??????

  5. Yeager at 2??!?! Something is wrong with that. He was awful – he was very karaoke. Are two people still going home this week? If so that would mean Danny falls in that category, who’s in tenth?

  6. All I could think when I saw it was Sanjaya. lol Luke is in 10th. I think it’s up for grabs with Robbie, Jason Castro, Jason Yeager, Danny and Luke to get the axe especially since there will be two to go. Two get voted off this week AND next week – that will get us down to 12. Next week’s Tues & Wed shows are only an hour each.

  8. Wow (Yeager @ 2)… I forgot about Danny Noriega, I think his time is soon coming to a halt too.

  9. Remember vote for the worst? That is how Sanjaya stayed around so long last year. Well, Danny is their pick for this year.

  11. Oh geez. If it’s vote for the worst then that WOULD explain Yeager @ 2. Robbie is #3 on that ranking.
