I’m with you, they already killed off the best friend. Like come on and with Payne leaving the show that wouldn’t make any sense. I think that would be enough to turn me off it all together

That doesn’t make sense. If you remember Jim was talking to everyone…Payne was not…I don’t think anyone could see Payne…which would also make sense since Payne saw everyone and saw the shadows…he doesn’t see ghosts so he would not have been able to see everyone if someone else was the ghost…it is def Payne.

There are already spoilers on Payne’s exit though. He’s not dying, he’s going on sabaticle with the university to do fieldwork. He leaves around the 4th episode. I think it’s so he can be brought back later should his new show “Gary Unmarried” or whatever is a bomb.

if you watch the ending closely you can see that Jim and Payne both were acknowledged….soooo who knows…just wait and watch.
