Here is the official spoiler snip-it for the first new Ghost Whisperer since before Christmas. The show will guest star Sharon Lawrence of “NYPD Blue” fame!” Read on for the spoiler . . . . .
Despite the show having been officially canceled, and in spite of co-star Billy Baldwin’s (Patrick Darlin) public attempts to reach the masses to save the show, Blaire Underwood (Simon Elder) is saying the show is gone.
He (Underwood) tells E Online, “As far as I’m concerned, we’re not doing any more shows.
“ABC officially doesn’t want to use the C-word, canceled, but we’re not on the schedule. I would pretty much say we’re canceled.”

Actress Chyler Leigh, who plays Lexi Grey on “Grey’s Anatomy,” is expecting her third child with her husband Nathan West.
This of course leads to the question, will they make Lexi pregnant on the show or pull the “hide the baby bump” routine by placing her behind folders, large purses and patients? ABC is currently stating that there is no plans to write in the pregnancy . . . . yeah you know that could change though!

Some ABC Spoiler snipits follow for “Ugly Betty” and “Private Practice” for the end of January. Of note, Addison’s brother Archer (Grant Show) returns and seems to be joining the show in a possibly recurring role. Also a HUGE Violet Spoiler!
On the last new episode of “Ghost Whisperer,” Melinda met the ghost of a woman who seemed to be a bit confused. At first she didn’t know she was dead. When she accepted that, she was upset to find her husband had a new wife . . . . she’d been dead for two years and lost! The husband claimed she was bi-polar and walked out on him, never to come back. She refused to believe that, and soon began to remember more and more. As it turned out, the man wasn’t her husband at all. He had kidnapped her, held her hostage, then basically brainwashed her into believing she was his wife. When he tired of her, he killed her and moved onto his next victim . . . his current wife. Melinda saved the new wife and helped the ghost wife rest in peace, as well as giving her real husband and two sons answers.
Sam/Jim meanwhile had found an engagement ring among his things. At first he decided not to go looking for this woman, as he’d only end up hurting her as he had the rest of his family. However after the story broke in the paper about the man who had kidnapped the women, Sam/Jim decided to find the woman he was going to propose to. He felt she needed to know where he was and what happened to him, as to not leave her hanging like the dead woman’s family was.
So it looks like we are going to deal with a love triangle coming up between Jim and Melinda and Sam and the old girlfriend. I have to say I am not in love with this story. I don’t think Jim and Melinda needed a reboot to their relationship. I’m sure Melinda will find out she is pregnant with Jim’s baby, but I think that could have been enough of a reboot. They could have made some storyline out of the baby and maybe how being pregnant affected Melinda’s powers or something.
I normally don’t like posting rumors like this (ones of people getting canned, cause I have learned sometimes they don’t pan out!), but this one has been the talk of gossip columns for awhile now as if it was a matter of time before it happened. Balthazar Getty plays Tommy Walker on “Brothers and Sisters” and if you’ve read any kind of gossip rags the past year, you know he’s had some personal issues as well as issues with certain people on the set of the show.
Crazy Days and Nights, a celeb gossip blog, is claiming Getty has in fact been fired, right before the holidays in fact. We probably won’t know for a few days if this is true or not cause of the holidays. This is the blog that broke news that TR Knight walked off the set of “Grey’s” and hadn’t been attending table readings. Both of those rumors were quickly refuted by the show, but within a day Ausiello had confirmed that TR had in fact asked to be let out of the show.
Sooooooo . . . . who knows? I wouldn’t be surprised myself given rumored tensions between Getty and others on set. I could see Tommy being written off easily . . . He and Julia would leave with Elizabeth because of the whole “father” issue. Plus Tommy’s upcoming battle with Holly at Ojai could be a factor. Perhaps Sarah will resume control of the company?
However you celebrate the season, have a good one!
The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Lauren Velez (Dexter) will appear on multiple episodes of “Ugly Betty” as Elana, a nurse interacting with the Suarez Family.
The story is said to be a secret, and might involve the death of a major character. Previews of “Ugly Betty” for next month however indicated that Betty’s father Ignacio was going to suffer a heart attack.

Ausiello scooped today that Wes Brown joins the cast as Luke, a God-obsessed hunk that “bonds” with Jason for at least six episodes. Jason, as you recall, found God at the end of the 1st season and joined that cultish like church “The Fellowship of the Sun” dedicated to wiping out the vampires.
Previously he also reported that Anna Camp would be joining next season as Sarah, the wife of Reverend Steve Newland, who we briefly saw on TV and at the end of last season when Jason joined his church. Also Ashley Jones (of “Bold and Beautiful” fame) joins as Daphne, a new waitress at Merlots. That right there is a strike against her character, as season 1 was not kind to the waitresses!
Season 2 will begin filming in January and is set to air next Summer.

Billy Baldwin, who plays Patrick Darling on “Dirty Sexy Money,” is doing everything he can to save the show it seems by getting the word out to the fans. I’ve seen a few articles and interviews with him popping up over the last month in which he asks the fans to write into ABC via the website to save the show.
“ ‘Dirty Sexy Money’ is not dead – yet,” Baldwin wrote in a mass e-mail. “It’s on life support, but not dead. ABC has canceled both ‘Eli Stone’ and ‘Pushing Daisies,’ but they have not officially used the term ‘canceled’ – as it relates to ‘DSM.’ ”
As with “Lipstick Jungle” and as of last month “Swingtown,” (though with one of the leads in a new pilot it might not look good for “Swingtown”) ABC has not torn down the sets and still have the actors on a contract option. It’s possible according to Baldwin if the mid-season shows coming up are bombs, “DSM” could be given another go.
A petition has been set up to save the show at http://petitiononline.com/dsm123/petition.html
