Who the new HOH put on the block is after the fold . . . Of course this could change live on Sunday given the new power someone in the house might get to replace such noms!
Note: If anything interesting happens on the feed/AD tonight I’ll add it in . . . (assuming I’m still awake)
CBS/TVGuide dropped a tiny hint as to what the finale of “Army Wives” might hold. Michael Nouri will appear in the final two episodes as Lt. General Walter Ludwig, who arrives at Ft. Marshall to give Michael Holden some major and unexpected news.
I think it’s safe to assume this will be one of the cliffhangers. Thoughts? Something tells me Michael isn’t getting transferred to Brussels again, but back into combat. That, or Michael is given the news that something happened to Jeremy, to relay to his good friend Frank.
Word around the net is that “Ugly Betty” is getting a make-over. No not a revamping of the show, an actual make-over for Betty.
Entertainment Weekly says that ABC is currently test marketing the new look on audiences. Personally I don’t know if I like the idea. Part of the show’s charm, and Betty’s, is that she’s quirky and has her own style.
I was not home to watch the show live, but did Tivo it. However I sped through it to find out what happened basically I couldn’t be patient!
A lot of time was dedicated to the showmance of Jeff and Jordan (which I have to admit is really cute and genuine).
The live vote saw Jeff, Ronnie, Natalie, Chima, Michelle, Lydia, Kevin all voting to evict Casey. Russel was the only one who voted to evict Jordan. BEfore going out, Casey went out with a bang telling Jessie he deserved what was coming to him. Natalie took to Jessie’s defense, of course.
Before the live vote, Julie revealed the “twist.” The cliques were no more! However one of the remaining house guests would be given a mystery power to be used in the next two weeks. Julie said it could change the game and the receiver had to keep it a secret until used. It was up to America to vote for who would get it. Julie said having HOH and Veto were very important this week to guarantee safety. The power can only be used at one of the next two evictions.
Julie revealed to us that the power was the Coup D’etat. The winner could overthrow the HOH and nominate who they wanted on the block! You can vote at CBS.com for who you want to have it.
The new HOH competition was held. It was an endurance competition where everyone was stuck on swings that spun around The first five out got to pick a prize, one was $5000!
I’m going to try and be better with Feed/After Dark spoilers. Unfortunately I had guests, and then the show just got boring with Jessie’s Crew controlling the house and worshiping at his feet. Here is hoping this new “twist” will heat things up! With no more cliques, people are going to turn on one another and fast!
UPDATE! The new HOH is posted below, as are the three people who are the “Have Nots” this week!
According to Hollywood Reporter, Robert Knepper has been promoted to a series regular next season on “Heroes.” The actor was to originally appear in only six episodes as the head of some evil carnival recruiting people with powers. Now the show plans to keep him around a bit longer.
Poor Bree is about to have another kid leave the nest it seems. People Magazine is reporting that Shawn Pyfrom, who plays Andrew on the show, is only returning for a few episodes next season. It was the actor’s decision not to commit too much to the show, but instead look for new and other opportunities.
Michelle and Jordan found themselves on the block, but they all think the plan is to get Ronnie out. They don’t know that Ronnie has a deal with Jessie and Natalie; while Ronnie also has an alliance with Russell!
Jessie tried to campaign to keep Ronnie and backdoor Casey. Chima, Kevin, Lydia and others agreed it was best if Casey leave, or Michelle. Jessie realized everyone who had gone home so far was basically his doing.
The POV was played. The competition involved everyone dressing up as pigs and having to dig through a giant mud and manure pit to search for truffles, which had numbers on them. The goal was to get the truffles to add up to the most numbers. Some truffles had prizes though, so they had to decide if they were worth keeping.
Chima refused to get dirty, so she wasn’t really trying. Casey found a Margaritta Party and decided to keep it, thinking it would make him popular in the house. The guests at the end were also allowed to chose an envelope as a gamble, not knowing what was in them.
Jessie took $2500 dollars, but didn’t win the Veto. Casey took a Margaretta Party, bit his envelope got him stuck in a Banana Suit for one week. Michelle ended up winning the Veto.
At the Veto Ceremony, Jessie ended up putting Casey up instead. Jessie felt if he didn’t get Casey out, he’d be gone and fast. Ronnie was sitting pretty, while Casey was fuming. Jordan hated being on the bottom every week, and hated being up against Casey who was her friend.
Thursday brings a huge announcement that will turn the game upside down. Will it be the end of the cliques?
Info : Please, resolve the addition below before post any new comment...
JS26 : I am going to be pissed as well if she doesn't return to wrap it up. I am not even concerned with a resolution with Alex. She needs to have a final scene with Mer and Christina.
Dustin : If there is no closure though, I'll be pissed off honestly. I don't like things left unanswered or with a crummy off screen explination.
Dustin : The story was of course unofficial and off the record, so we don't know yet if she'll return to finish the last few episodes, or if it's her decision or not.
Guest_2010 : Dustin you are wrong about Heigl... she never returned to work and is sounds like that last episode she was in a while back was her last. Which completely sucks because the story line was never finished, what a bitchy, selfish way to leave a show that made you career.
Dustin : Alex Lambert and Lilly got the Boot on Idol from what I've read on Twitter/Facebook
Dustin : Ausiello reporting Katherine Heigl will depart Greys after this seaon!
Dustin : Not sure on Idol, just got home from work LOL on Lost, I knew they would never be able to give a satisfactory answer and half the fans would be ticked
Guest_424 : who got booted on idol
Erick : Whats with Lost? After years of island hijinks they waste the final season showing us an alternate timeline? Id ont care show me the island and resolve the mile wide gaps in story and plot we have all patiently put up with and had to choke down season after season
Dustin : Put on Idol, cause nothing else is on lol. Will be interesting to see how long it takes before I'm bored
Dustin : He also wasn't eager to stay after he found out her lies about Dylan.
Dustin : She dumped him and he just left.
Guest_4467 : On desperate housewives did we ever find out what happed to katherines ex husband adam?
iwkkbeuebh : e9RDV
CGinCA : I think the character of Auggie was redeemable.... but Violet no. But I agree MP will not be back, sadly
Dustin : I agree about AI, I'm not even bothering with it till the top ten are together. I just think they have a weak bunch this year save for afew. No real competition!
Dustin : As soon as I'm done with mywork for tomoroww I'll post a few more thoughts. Really liked Parenthood, much mor drama than comedy last night.
Dustin : Thanks for the Melrose scoop. I saw Auggie left last night, but we know the other crazy girl got fired to (Simpson). I too doubt we'll see it again.
Guest_1244 : On Melrose, Michael's wife was the killer. Hope that does not spoil things too bad for anyone! I highly doubt it will be back for a second season.
Guest_4408 : Can AI be more boring???? I hope once they combine the guys and the girls things will get better.
Dustin : Actually watching MElrose, do we know who killed Syd yet? Cause I see the fired people are still on the show!
Guest_1627 : so sick of some of the 90210 story lines
Dustin : Against Idol at 8 is a bad spot, but I can't even bring myself to watch Idol right now it's so bad!
CGinCA : Going to record both 90210 and MP but I would not be surprized if both get their worst ratings ever.
Dustin : Yeah I am done with Melrose I think lol. I never caught up with it.
Annie : New 90210 tonight for those still interested
Dustin : Just finally got through Grey's, will have some short thoughts on it up
Dustin : yes there was an episode at 8 but it was a repeat. 9 was the new one. Hoping it will be on demand by tonight Otherwside I have to watch online.
Guest_142 : my grey's didn't tape either! were there two episodes?
Guest_2011 : deep end was cancelled, they called it the season finale because of wishful thinking... i dont think it will come back
Guest_2270 : I watch "The Deep End". It's very good. I would recommend it. I think it reminds me more of an Alley McBeal show than Grey's.
Dustin : I haven't. I work till 9 on Thursdays
Guest_142 : Has anyone watched that show The Deep End? I haven't but may watch it online... what did you think of it?
Dustin : Grrrr Grey's didn't tape! Ill have to watch it online. Will have lots of posts up tomorrow and this weekend. Don't forget GW/Medium finally back tomorrow!
JS26 : SWEET! Smallville has been renewed for a 10th season!!
