I highly doubt that Izzie can get pregnant, of if she does it will be an extremely high risk pregnancy. You got to remember before doing all of her treatments, Izzie had her eggs harvested and then the Chief asked Alex if he wanted to make his own “donation” as the eggs had a better chance if they were fertilized. I think is due to the fact that the treatments for her cancer would leave her infertile. So if Izzie is pregnant, then chances are good she took one of those embryos with Alex’s permission, and then that would open a whole new can of worms and not be the best way to win Alex back. If Alex did get anyone pregnant, without the aid of science, it would probably be Lexie. Also, I agree with the comment above, that I thought it was Arizona foreshadowing her own life because she seemed to take it rather personal.

I thought they were foreshadowing that Arizona would have a child that died…not that Izzy is pregnant. I hope that she isn’t b/c I would love for her to be written out at this point!

Ok smoore if you are right about that all happening in private practice especially about them having an affair and maya dying I am done with the show that would be the perfect way to turn me off completely so I am hoping you are wrong because I loved this show from the get go but lately have not been pleased, hoping they get out of this rut and fast

OH! And if you’re right about Alex and Iz. WHOA! That would be really major! Plus, it would not even be cool to have her lose the baby after what they already did with Christina.

I thought they were setting him up with a specialty. I think Alex would be great in Pedes. He has a way of bonding with teenagers and kids. Remember the little girl who thought she was a superhero because she couldn’t feel pain. Or the girl in a wheelchair and her parents didn’t want her to have a surgery. She followed Alex around all day. Or even the kid who struggled with giving his alcoholic and abusive father an organ. Alex has a way with children.

I am totally with you about Christina. I love her character more now more than I even did 5 years ago. She’s been developing slowly into a character you can root for and love. This show does a great job of not forgetting what has happened in the past and allowing past events to influence and shape the development of the characters. The same thing happened with Meredith back in Season 4 when she was seeing the shrink.

As for Practice, at this point, I agree it is hard to root for Pete and Violet. Whatever romantic chemistry was there seems lost now. I am back to where I was in Season 1 – wishing for Addie to be with Pete and Violet to be with Cooper. This Addie/Sam mess needs to end before she further alienates Naomi. In addition, even though I disagreed with Naomi on trying to force her daughter to have an abortion, I am with her on the marriage. These children should not be allowed to get married. If Dink (seriously?) wants to be a part of Maya’s life with the baby, great! However, they are way too young to know whether or not they want to spend their life together. Crazy!

I believe they will let Sam and Addie will cross the line. I believe Maya will not make it through child birth, but the baby will. Next season will be devoted to Sam and Nai being forced together to be parents to Maya’s baby while and Addie sneak around and to try to hide their past or on going affair.
