Desperate Housewives: Riot On The Lane

Desperate Housewives: Riot On The Lane

So these are my quick thoughts on the latest episode of “Housewives,” which is the last new one until next year.

I hated that Paul tricked Bob and Lee into selling their house to him. Lee was already in hot water with the neighbors for being Paul’s real estate agent as is. I don’t want Bob and Lee to move!

Juanita finally learned the truth about Grace and tried to run away, but caught in a riot that was going on. She hid in Bob and Lee’s car until her mom came to rescue her, and Lynette came to rescue Bob and Lee. It was good to see fences somewhat mended, but you know Juanita is going to be a problem when the show comes back. She’ll have a lot of rage in her I bet!

Susan suggested to Renee and Tom that Renee move away, given her feelings for Tom. She’s of course not going to. I hate this storyline. HATE it. I don’t like that Tom has all these past secrets. He clearly is not the perfect husband that Lynette has felt she didn’t deserve all these years. Maybe that is exactly why they are doing this?

Bree and Keith split up when she wasn’t ready to marry him. That’s when creepy dad moved in on Bree. His plan backfired though and only served to bring Keith to her defense in the end.

Paul was set to be awarded by the Mayor for his halfway house, but Lynette staged a protest and had friends from the block over volunteer to help them out. The friends however planned a riot and trashed the neighborhood and the halfway house. I couldn’t help but think the guy who was the leader was a plant and friend of Paul’s. It all worked out in his favor way too easily.

The show ended with what I’ve been expecting to happen for weeks. Someone shot Paul Young! Now we have a new mystery. I’m sure he won’t die, but I don’t think he knows who shot him either. This would be a great way to bring back Zach and have him be the shooter though.
