That big weapon that could “wipe out all human-kind” – if you will notice – was pointed UP. It wasn’t meant to wipe out the humans, but the new aliens. They’ve got us set up to believe these new guys are going to be on the humans’ side because they didn’t immediately attack. But they could be a big ol’ Trojan Horse too. There are SOOO many ways that one could play out. I felt like they closed things up rather well. They kind of fooled me thinking Arthur was in cahoots with the aliens. Apparently he wasn’t. He was just chicken.
