Resurrection: After Last Night . . . I Have Nothing!

So “Resurrection” has just completely stumped me at this point. I got nothing! Tom’s dead ex-girl friend is back. We learned she committed suicide, but she’s somewhat fuzzy on why. Maggie learned that she (Rachel the Ex) was pregnant, which seemed to shock her. Did she forget this? Everyone else seems to have all their memories in tact, though Caleb lied about his. Is this why she committed suicide? If so, a bigger question is who the father is. You would think if it’s Tom’s that she wouldn’t have done this.

Caleb has been in jail, has not been talking much, but finally revealed that more were coming, more than they could imagine. By the end of the episode, Caleb just vanished in front of Agent Bellamy’s eyes. He just got warped out of there like in Star Trek! He seemed to be in pain right before it happened. Bellamy worried Jacob and the others could go too, but so far they haven’t. However Jacob didn’t seem surprised to learn Caleb was gone . . . .

I just got nothing . . . nothing! No words to explain the warp out! I do wonder if the town name is a clue. Arcadia is a real place in Greece, but also considered to be “Paradise on Earth” by some. It was also mentioned by Dante in some of his plays. I’m wondering if the people who are returning in some way shape or form all symbolize virtues and sins of some kind?

Spoilers for the next two episodes below!

  2. No Rachal didn’t forget she was pregnant, probably didn’t know in the first place, or she maybe wouldn’t have committed suicide.

  3. I think Caleb warped out because in jail he couldn’t constantly eat like he did on the outside… Remember that he and Jacob were eating constantly, and Jacob’s mother found all the food wrappers under his mattress? I think they need the energy to exist. Though that is the ONLY part of this show I’ve got figured out.
