So I know I haven’t blogged about “90210″ in ages, and there is a reason . . . the show got boring, at least for me.

The story that they had hyped even before the season started was Teddy’s coming out . . . but it seems they were too afraid to do much with the story. Aside from about 2-3 episodes devoted to him and that story, we never saw much of him this season.

Cousin Emily wrecked the first half of the season for me, and Crazy Adrianna wrecked the second half.

The only story I found myself liking near the end was the Naomi and Max story . . . and now there are rumors the actress who plays Naomi may want off the show to pursue movies :-\

The Dixon and Navid form a business story I thought was ridiculous.

I didn’t mind the Ivy storyline near the end, I thought it was somewhat sweet. I’m assuming her husband will be dead when the show returns though.

I was very disappointed in the whole Ryan/Jen/Debbie storyline. It’s like they just dropped it. Actually the DID drop it. Ryan and Debbie will not be on next year. In the spoiler/summary for the finale, Ryan was supposed to ask Debbie to move to France with him . . . and that part was just dropped all together from the show. They didn’t even get a real goodbye.

I’m honestly not sure if I’ll watch in the fall. I might tune in, but “90210″ didn’t get top priority these past few months, and a few times I even forgot it was on. So they’ll have to have a good story to suck me in come fall. Given that they are all off to college, I don’t know . . . . That’s about the point where I stopped watching the original “90210.”

So this week was the last new “90210″ until well into April. Woah! I guess they don’t want to go up against the “Dancing With The Stars” juggernaut? I’m not sure, but fed up with the entire Cousin Emily storyline, I fast forwarded through a lot of this episode I’m afraid. I just couldn’t take her anymore!

This entire Shirazi Studios 2.0 storyline annoys me to no end, so it was the one I fully skipped over. Two kids running a recording studio and hoping to get famous stars to use it? Yeah right! Your in high school, act like it. The Stoner Ivy falling for a guy with leukemia also did nothing for me and I skipped most of it.

I actually really enjoy the whole Naomi and her geek love story. I loved that she gave him and his friends hell, pointing out they could be as nasty and as shallow as hers or anyone else at West Bev. I did think it was a little silly that the geek (I can’t remember his name!) was worried about his reputation should people found out he was dating Naomi. Really? I think your reputation would soar frankly. I wonder though how long they can hide this from everyone? My guess is they’ll get caught together in the next Spring Break themed episode.

The Silver and Adrianna war heated up, with Silver finally admitting to Adrianna she slept with Navid. Adrianna said she knew, and sent a naked photo of everyone at the school of Silver! Okay aside from the fact that is very illegal, I would think it’s not the publicity she’d want to create for herself after all the bad publicity she’s had. Adrianna’s character has just been totally destroyed. I don’t see myself liking her again.

Finally this episode saw the departure of Cousin Emily, who was set up by Annie and Liam at her own surprise party. Liam got her to reveal her true colors about everyone, not knowing everyone was hiding in Annie’s living room to surprise her for her birthday. I love that she decided to pack it up and go to Arkansas . . . . but her downfall could have been a whole lot harsher given the crap she’s been pulling on Annie. Will Annie even get her old job back? The part in the play?

So I’m still watching “90210,” and am actually enjoying most of it . . . except the Cousin Emily story. As I’ve said before, it’s just been so over done at this point, and done better. Every time she was on in this past week I just wanted to scream and slap people. I really hope they don’t drag this thing out to the point where she predictably sleeps with Liam.

The Guru Sonja story I really liked. I loved not only seeing Naomi get her revenge, but fall for the nerd. Also Sonja saying “Take me to In-And-Out, I need red meat” was hilarious. Why though did Naomi not think to just ask “Show of hands, how many did Sonja tell you that you were the chosen one?” Seems to me that would have gotten the problem solved a lot quicker.

I loved that they are finally giving the Teddy storyline more than two seconds in an episode. I was sad to see the old guy go, but blackmailing him to try and get him to come out of the closet was a low blow. This new sports guy Marco seems like a better fit.

Finally as if Crazy Cousin Emily was bad enough, now Silver has to watch her back because Insane Adrianna is after the woman Navid cheated on her with. This is going to get dirty. I smell a huge cat fight coming at some point.

Last night “90210″ returned, and they added a new character, Annie and Dixon’s incredibly annoying cousin Emily. Whenever a show plays the “cousin” card it’s usually not a good sign. I don’t know why they played it this early, because this annoying brat of a character really wasn’t needed at all. She was annoying five seconds after opening her mouth.

I loved the resolution to the Naomi and Mr. Cannon story, but wonder where they’ll take her character now? Maybe have her date Oscar, who was nowhere to be found?

The only other story I was interested in was the Teddy drama, which was just a minor story on this episode.

Adrianna’s fall was as painful to watch as her scheming climb to the top. They’ve made her character so unlikable I don’t know where they’ll take her.

The Dixon and Ivy story is also just painful.

Annie finally chooses between Liam and his brother Charlie, but of course Liam doesn’t want to rock the boat now that he has his brother back since they made nice, and Emily has been in town five seconds and is obsessed with Liam. YAWN!

I don’t know if “90210″ is must see TV anymore, especially with “Pretty Little Liars” on ABC Family. I think “90210″ is going to get put on Tivo till I have time to watch it if these storylines continue . . . .

Balthazar Getty (Tommy Walker) returns for “Brothers and Sisters” 100th episode with a new girlfriend in tow, played by Cara Buono (Mad Men).

Darren Criss, who plays Blaine, Kurt’s new boyfriend on “Glee,” has been up’d to a series regular, along with Harry Shaum Jr. (Mike Chang, aka “Other Asian” as Sue calls him).

Daniel Sunjata joins “Grey’s Anatomy” in a recurring role beginning December 2nd as new love interest for Bailey. Source: TheaterMania

And finally . . . some (now OLD) “True Blood” news! Courtney Ford joins the show as Portia Bellefleur, Sheriff Andy’s sister, who is a lawyer. Meanwhile Fiona Shaw will play Marnie, a medium and psychic.

So this week on 90210, a big celebrity party was going on and everyone who was anyone was going.

Navid and Silver set out to determine if Navid’s dad was knowingly casting under age girls, and he was. He lashed out at Navid because his job gave Navid the house he lived in and his car and all the money he had. Navid later blabbed to a teacher, who is apparently reporting it . . . . I have a feeling Navid might not be rich for much longer.

Victor made Adrianna go to the party with Joe Jonas, because it was better publicity. In the end though she came forward on the red carpet and named Navid as her boyfriend. It seems they made up, but right before that Navid and Silver were getting way too close for comfort. Yup, looks like a West Bev Love Triangle coming up.

Adrianna did finally grow a brain and wouldn’t take Victor’s crap anymore. She knew he wasn’t going to tell anyone what she did, because then he would be making zero money. She said she was calling the shots from now on. Uh oh . . . . fame is about to go to her head even more it would seem. That leaves Navid to bond even more with Silver!

Naomi and Ivy teamed up to teach Oliver a lesson, leaving him naked in a pool in the middle of a big celebrity party.

Jen felt like a horrible mother and a failure at it. The holy shiz moment came when little Jack/Jaque rolled right off the changing table and onto the floor. Hello get the kid to the hospital, don’t look at him and just say “he’s okay.” That’s what Ryan did, Jen went nuts over her latest poor parenting mishap. At the end of the show, Ryan found a note from Jen saying Jaque would be better off with him and without her. Yup, she split! I did not like this, because they had just made Jen tolerable and likable. Now she’s gone? No!

Dixon and Annie’s went to visit their dad, only to learn Harry has moved on and moved in with another woman. They were shocked, and their mom pretended she knew about it but didn’t know how to tell them. Later though she broke down to Ryan she didn’t know, and she feels like all her years with Harry meant nothing to him. It seems like they are really aiming towards the mom and Ryan possibly pairing up. I don’t know if I like that idea at all.

So here are my latest thoughts on “90210,” which in part extend over the past two episodes (since I didn’t post a thoughts last week).

Dixon and Ivy . . . I really liked them originally, now I’m just over them. Dixon told Ivy everything, and they tried working things out, but she finally broke down and told him about sleeping with Oscar. He simply walked off, leaving her standing there by herself. Ouch! Dixon handled things poorly, but so did Ivy. She did more than just jump in bed with Oscar, she has been fighting feelings for him for awhile and Dixon was always worried about that. This just confirmed that for him. She however has not had the chance to explain what a jerk Oscar really is.

Teddy battled rumors spread that he had sexual performance issues, which only put more of a strain on him personally. He has been smiling a lot at the guy he beat up and was nasty too though . . . by the end of the latest episode Teddy stormed off on Navid and Dixon, claiming he was walking home. I think however he’s walking to the nearest gay bar from the spoilers!

Navid learned his dad (who apparently makes porn movies, I guess I forgot about that) cast a girl from Navid’s school . . . an underage girl . . . in one of his movies. Uh oh! Does Navid get his dad in trouble by coming forward and trying to help the girl? My guess is yes. My guess is also that Silver will help him through this as Adrianna will be too busy with her career.

Adrianna meanwhile didn’t dump Victor when the shirtless photos she took (but covering her boobage with her arms) landed her on covers of magazines and back in the spotlight. She decided to stick with him, angering Navid. At some point BOTH of them are going to go down in flames.

The big story however was with Oscar and Naomi busting Cannon. Naomi finally pressed charges against Cannon. Mr. Matthews (who really needs his beard back, without it his young age shows!) came forward about what he saw that night, but because he was drunk and ran into the school sign, was suspended himself. I’m glad they brought that issue back, I thought they’d forgotten all about it.

I’m not sure why they are making Oscar out to be a good guy. Though technically he only was helping Naomi (at first) because he liked her. I loved that she basically wouldn’t give him the time of day and as a reward offered him her expensive pen, rather than a date with her.

Naomi, thanks to Oscar pinpointing Cannon’s “fake” Chelsea accent, learned he was not who he said he was. He was wanted in the UK under a whole other name (Douglas Allerton) for raping a student there as well. However when the cops went to arrest him . . . he was gone! You know this means he’s going to show back up at some point seeking revenge . . . watch out Naomi! Here is hoping he gets himself killed, or badly beaten in the end. Of course if it’s the former, then you know Naomi or Jen will be major suspects.

Just some quick comments on “90210,” which at this point is the one show so far I’ve been able to watch and pay attention to for the most part this week. I will be parked on my sofa tomorrow night for sure for other shows.

Anyway, I liked that Jen found a little bit of softness after having her baby. She was a beyotch at first, but seeing the kid with Ryan I think moved her a bit. Spoilers seem to indicate next week she finds out about Naomi’s rape and goes into mother cub mode, going after Mr. Cannon. Maybe this really will be a turning point for Jen?

Silver tried to set Mr. Cannon up, but I guess he caught on as he and the school board intervened. They thought she was having a bipolar breakdown though.

Annie, thanks to her mom, reconsidered donating her eggs to get money to help the family. I am not convinced we haven’t seen the end of this story though. I keep expecting Annie’s boss to do something underhanded to get those eggs. Why they need Annie’s, when they can buy them from others, I am not yet getting.

Dixon’s HIV scare was just that, a scare. Why am I now feeling Oscar put that older woman up to all of this? Because he ended up in bed with Ivy! Next week Oscar drops the bomb on Ivy and her mom, so it should be interesting.

Teddy made nice with his DL buddy, but later found it hard to get things going with a hot girl. There is a pun in that last sentence! When she noticed he wasn’t into things, he said she just wasn’t that hot. It will be interesting to see how Teddy officially comes out. I keep expecting someone to walk in on him and his “special friend” and was sure it would be during detention.

I find myself liking most of the stories going on and not missing Kelly or the original 90210ers anymore. The one story I can do without is this stupid Arianna story and her nasty manager. Bleck!

Lots of drama on “90210″ this week!

Annie had a change of heart and decided to sell her eggs to her boss. Why? Because her mom is having trouble making ends meet. I was sure the boss would blackmail Annie somehow.

Adrianna’s storyline took the predictable route, with Javier’s sleazy uncle becoming her manager and raping her of every dollar she made for him. I can’t say I feel all that sorry for her, she did steal from a dead guy. However I hate this story all together, so I feel sorry for myself and others who have to put up with it.

Annie and Adrianna found out about Naomi’s rape when Silver broke her promise and finally told them. Naomi wasn’t too upset, and now it seems the girls are united in getting revenge. I smell a sting operation and a youtube video coming up!

Teddy remained closeted, lashing out at his Down-Low lover in public using “the other F word.” They also got into a fight, and Mr. Matthews assigned them to detention together. Um, yeah, that’s what they need . . . to be alone together for 2 weeks. I see Mr. Matthews walking in on something shocking! The one good thing from Teddy’s F-bomb is that Silver dumped his ass for good. I guess now he won’t totally break her heart when he comes out of the closet.

Finally crazy adult lady who dated Dixon last season came back. In part Oliver seemed to put her up to coming in between him and Ivy. But the show ended with a bomb . . . she’s HIV positive. Is Dixon now too? Or is this another lie paid for by sleazy Oliver?

Oy! I think the latest episode of “90210″ annoyed me more than entertained me, and that is totally because of the Adrianna storyline.

Adrianna sang Javier’s song at his memorial, it went viral on youtube, and Javier’s uncle confronted her. The question is, what will he do? Will he stop her, or try and make a buck of his dead nephew through her by perhaps blackmailing her into ditching Laurel? Honestly I really don’t care. I don’t like this storyline and just want it to go away!

I was shocked that Silver in fact realized Naomi wasn’t lying about the creepy rapist Mr. Cannon so fast. I thought for sure they’d drag this on. Though she wasn’t fast enough to stop Naomi from taking one too many sleeping pills. We know they aren’t going to kill Naomi though. My guess is instead of going to the cops, the girls are going to get revenge.

Annie learned what her boss and her husband (who was Jack from “Days!”) wanted . . . they wanted her eggs and were willing to pay her 20 grand for them. Mmmmmmmm, yeah Annie might be desperate enough to do that . . . . but do the parents really want their kid to have Annie’s genes?

We learned that Oscar is out to ruin Ivy and her mom’s life, because he blame’s Ivy’s mom for ruining his father’s life. The question is, what did she do and who is his father? Ivy revealed to Dixon that her own father lives 10 minutes from her, with a whole new family, and would rather forget she exists. This isn’t Oscar’s family is it? Because that would be a whole lot of incest yuckyness!

Teddy woke up hung over, saw a note about a great time the night before, and then puked. Did he puke because he was hung over, or puke because he . . . . Yup by the end of the episode not only had Teddy won Silver back, but warned the guy he hooked up with not to say anything. Teddy’s on the Down-Low!
