Big Brother: Evicted On August 27th and The New HOH

Big Brother: Evicted On August 27th and The New HOH

The show started up with a recap of the week’s events. Natalie and Kevin’s scheme continued, and they planed to get rid of Russell as well as hopefully win to put up Jeff. Jeff of course thinks he made a deal with them to keep himself safe next week.

Michelle feared if she didn’t win HOH that she would go out the door this week.

Jeff and Russell got into a huge fight in the backyard. Russell warned Jeff he better win this game, because he’d beat him up if he walked into the jury house. Nat brought Jordan into the fight. The entire fight had to have every other word bleeped out basically.

Kevin was propositioned by Russell to make a deal to keep him and oust Natalie, but Kevin wasn’t sure as it was a scary move.

Russ continued to make it uncomfortable in the house, and told them all they couldn’t trust Jeff as he’d put every single one of them up.

Before the vote, we saw Jessie’s time relaxing in the jury house. We also saw him reunited with Lydia! She told him she was mad at him, did he think they wouldn’t compare notes? OF course as she called him a lying sack of . . . she was hugging him and being all cutesy. JEssie then learned that Chima went nuts and was kicked out of the game.

The live vote was held, but first Julie revealed there would be no more have-have not’s for the remainder of the summer.

The two nominees were allowed to plead their case. Natalie basically said she’s loved being on the show, and she assumed that she was not being evicted from what she was told, so thanks for keeping her. Russell was flabbergasted by Natalie’s speech. He said to everyone good luck, they are all amazing.

Jordan, Kevin and Michelle all voted to evict Russell, making his demise unanimous. Russell gave everyone hugs on the way out and then talked to Julie.

Russell revealed to Julie that he would have kept the final four deal and then teamed up with Michelle to take Jeff and Jordan out. He said he knew Jeff was smart to do this, and he was trying to get Jeff riled up to say things to incriminate him.

The HOH comp was held. The houseguests had to race back and forth with a cup of hot chocolate, filling their bowl, floating a marshmallow to the top and out the bowl. It will be a long night before we know who the new HOH is! I’ll post the new HOH in the comments when I find out!

Big Brother: The Veto Changes Everything

Big Brother: The Veto Changes Everything

Posted by Dustin on 08.25.2009 at 10:16 pm

This is a VERY short recap of tonight’s show, basically because I’ve been sick as a dog the past two days. I haven’t even been able to watch feeds or after dark (hence the lack of posts).

Basically Jeff was paranoid about Russell and “the lie” that Nat and Kev told him, which was more of a stretching of the truth. That and the fact that Russell voted for Jessie to stay when he saved him from the block with the power.

Russell was just as paranoid that he’d be put up if the veto was used, and Michelle was her usual “non-committal” self to anyone.

Natalie and Kevin hoped Jeff would stick to the plan to use them as pawns to backdoor Russell. Kevin said in a diary session that they would stab Jeff in the back first chance they got. To his face, they promised him that if Russell went home, and they were HOH next week, he would not go up (which means Michelle and Jordan would).

The veto game, hosted by Casey’s voice, was played and Jeff won. Jeff then used the veto on Russell, who swore to make Chima look like an angel this week!

Personally, I am torn. I don’t think Russell could be trusted, and to get him out is a good move. At the same time, clearly Nat and Kevin can’t be trusted either.

Jeff now has too much riding on Jordan or Michelle winning Veto. Michelle would put up Kevin and Nat is my thinking. However Big Brother likes to feed the drama, so I expect this HOH to be an endurance competition, and with Jeff unable to play and Russell possibly going home, Nat could win it.

The flip side is if Russell convinces Kevin and Michelle to keep him, they can turn the tide against Jordan and Jeff. I think he’d have a hard time getting Kevin to vote for him honestly.

Oh the drama!

Side Note: I removed the “Recent Comments” from the side bar for the time being. This will keep spoilers off the main page :)

Big Brother: The New HOH Makes Their Noms

Big Brother: The New HOH Makes Their Noms

Posted by Dustin on 08.23.2009 at 8:55 pm

A very quick recap of tonight’s episode.

The HOH game continued to be played out. The two losers of this comp would become the have-nots this week.

Jeff ended up winning, with Russell and Michelle becoming the have-nots.

Kevin and Nat knew they had to remind Jeff that they weren’t the biggest threats in the house, that Russell was.

Russell also knew he had to talk game and make sure they were all cool. Jeff again brought up Kevin’s “lie” which Russell said they’ll say what they have to say. We then saw a backyard argument that happened before the eviction last week and the new HOH!

The have-nots learned they got churros and chitlins!

Natalie ended up playing poker with Jeff and Russell, and Natalie and Russell ended up in a huge fight.

Natalie and Kevin did talk to Jeff, and he did admit he almost trusts them more than Russell. However he confirmed they would probably go up, and then the odds were one of them would win the veto and could back-door Russell.

Jordan and Jeff talked. Jordan doesn’t trust Russell or Natalie at this point, but told Jeff to do what he thought was best. At the nominations, Jeff nominated Natalie and Kevin. Jeff said he had to nominate 2 people, no hard feelings.

After the jump is the results of the Veto comp. It’s been played, but so far the ceremony hasn’t been held.

Big Brother: Evicted On August 20th and New HOH

Big Brother: Evicted On August 20th and New HOH

Tonight was to be the live double eviction, but with Chima gone earlier than planned, we waited for Julie to tell us what was going to happen. The houseguests equally were wondering how things would play out as well.

We got some background info first, as usual. Jordan told Natalie she was a pawn, but told the diary room she reserved her right to change her mind at any time.

Russell and Michelle thought they were safe because Jordan didn’t make her move and put them up.

Natalie confronted Lydia about how many times she and Jessie hooked up. Lydia then began spilling the beans, and we saw some video of what was going on. Natalie heard the story, we didn’t, and Natalie was grossed out! (It involved a Clintonesque story and a sweatshirt let’s just say.) Kevin told them both that Jessie played them both. He wanted to sleep and kicked them out to hash this out elsewhere. Natalie and Lydia finally realized Jessie was a jerk.

This is when they came up with a plan to create drama aimed at Russell and Michelle. They decided to tell Jordan that they overheard Russell and Michelle discussing getting Jeff out.

Kevin tried to kiss some Jeff ass and told them the lie, that Russell told Michelle they had to use next week to get Jeff out. Jeff bought it, but what Kevin didn’t know (and they didn’t show) was that Russell and Michelle did have a talk (they made a final 2 deal and discussed Jeff going at some point).

Jordan was told by Jeff what Kevin told him, and they had to discuss backdooring Russell. (The post before this one “Confrontation 3, 4, 5?” discusses all the drama from Jeff and Jordan confronting Michelle and Russell if you want to read it).

Julie went to the living room where the guests were all waiting. Lydia and Natalie were both on the block, and Julie asked various questions. Lydia swore up and down that she was over Jessie and if she went to the jury house that Jessie would have an angry pink-haired lady to deal with.

Julie revealed tonight they would have the Veto comp, the Veto Ceremony, the Eviction, and then the new HOH comp all live!

Before the live comps, Natalie got her phonecall from her dad. Her dad and her boyfriend Jason watch every show together.

The POV game was played with everyone playing but Russell. It was a “before or after” game based on things that happened in the house. Jordan won the POV, so she could actually change her nominations should she choose to.

The POV meeting was held, but right before Kevin spoke to Jordan and Jeff in private, and Jordan made a face! I think Kevin told them that Natalie started the lie drama he told them. The two nominees made their lame speeches, knowing Jordan wouldn’t use the veto on them probably, which she did.

The live vote was held, with the girls pleading their case before the vote. Nat said she is by herself now, no alliances, no deals, she hope’s they’d keep her. Lydia simply said vote for the houseguest that will serve their games the best.

Jeff, Russell, Michelle voted to evict Lydia.
Kevin voted to evict Natalie.

With the vote against her, Lydia was evicted of the house.

Julie of course spoke with Lydia before the HOH comp. Lydia said she only wants to see Kevin win, and she said Nat was more like an annoying kid sister than her friend this week. She also admitted she was ready to leave the house, she’s not sad. She also swore Jessie was going to need ice packs this week.

The HOH comp was played, and the game involved a recycling theme where they had to try and drop aluminum cans into a small tube from way up high. It looked to be a long night, and I’ll update as soon as I know who the new HOH is from the feeds.

*Update* It looks like the feeds won’t return till midnight, after the show airs on the west coast. Grrr!

*Update 2* Feeds are back! I’ll put the HOH in the comments if people want to know (when I figure out who it is).

First, it definitely looks like because the double eviction show has been ruined (Thanks a whole lot Chima!), they are playing the veto live tomorrow, holding the eviction live, and then the next HOH game.

Big Brother: Say So Long To Chima!

Big Brother: Say So Long To Chima!

Posted by Dustin on 08.18.2009 at 10:28 pm

So tonight was the big Chimagate episode finally. Most of what we saw, was shown on “After Dark/The Feeds” that night. She refused to wear her microphone, refused to go to the DR, cursed the producers out and destroyed her microphone in the jacuzzi. We also saw how since the first week she also disobeyed rules like going to the diary room when told, obstructing cameras as well as talking back.

Other little things the edited out of the live show? Well Chima was sitting on the washing machines (shown) because Jeff had been trying to do laundry all day and she (and I think Nat and Lydia) kept hogging the machine. They were doing their laundry over and over. She was making sure Jeff wouldn’t get to do his laundry. She also took Russell’s rosary beads and messed with Jeff’s clothes. That night the girls were stealing stuff (hot sauce) as well and Jordan was afraid they would do something to their stuff with it.

When Alison (the producer) came on is when the feeds got cut. When they returned it was after everyone had been told Chima was gone and they were discussing her leaving. Chima saying she wanted to leave (which was shown) is where the uncertainty that first day came in as to whether she quit or was kicked off.

Natalie was ready to quit that night, she was furious and blamed Jeff and Michelle for pushing Chima over the edge. Lydia and Kevin had to talk her down. Everyone else couldn’t believe how they were acting and this was a game!

The next day Michelle learned basically because one of her people was evicted, her duties as HOH were done. They would play a new game immediately.

The new HOH game was based on a golf game that was originally to be the veto competition. It was round after round, with the worst person being eliminated. It also included prizes, which they chose and could then steal from one another. In the end, Jeff won a trip to Hawaii, Russell a spa day, Natalie a phonecall home, Lydia the red unitard and Jordon HOH! (I forget what Kevin won, I don’t think anything).

Lydia was the next to flip out, saying how everything was unfair, how she hated that they sent Jessie home and that they were responsible for Chima leaving. She was screaming and cursing. She initially picked a fight with Jordan at the end of the HOH comp, calling her a whore and Jeff’s little puppet. She even tried to flip the kitchen table that night after going postal. Eventually she calmed down and arrived in her uniform along with fuchsia colored hair. (What we didn’t see was the producers gave her the hair dye to try and calm her down!)

Jordan had to put two people on the block. She nominated Lydia, as she kept saying she wanted to be sent home; as well as Natalie, because she was a strong player.

In real time the veto comp STILL hasn’t been played. The houseguests have figured out that this week was supposed to be a double eviction, so they think that perhaps the veto will be played live on Thursday, followed by the live veto ceremony and then eviction, finally the new HOH will be played.

Big Brother: Tape Delayed And Chimagate

Big Brother: Tape Delayed And Chimagate

Posted by Dustin on 08.16.2009 at 9:16 pm

First off, “Big Brother” was delayed tonight thanks to golf and then “60 Minutes” going over. I am taping it, but had to turn it off for “True Blood.” Grrrr!

We learned that the eviction last week apparently wasn’t live after all. That, or they were showing bits of info we just didn’t see (IE during commercials or when Julie was talking).

Chima of course was fuming at Jeff, while Nat was calling him a liar and going back on his word to vote Russell out. Jeff said he didn’t vote, so he didn’t lie! He explained that Jessie and Nat were skating to the final two, none of them would get that money or had a shot, he now at least made it possible for everyone in the house. He also ranted that “their side” was just angry because they’ve lost control of the house and finally know what it’s like to see a friend walk out the door.

With Michelle as HOH, nobody knew what she’d do. Russell knew she had to kiss some ass, while Chima was determined to get Michelle to put Russell up cause it was what she wanted.

Jessie’s widows had a going away party for him, drinking and crying. As Jordon put it, it’s okay when they vote one of their side out, but not the other way around. Jeff and Russell didn’t get them, they acted like Jessie was a saint and that he’s dead.

I wish I had Jessie's Girl!

Kevin, in his diary session, said “O M G these girls are acting like Jessie got hit like a mack truck.” He said Jessie wronged them all, putting Chima on the block, voting against Lydia when she was up, and he was pissed that Kevin didn’t vote Natalie out over him! He didn’t understand how quickly these girls forgot all that.

Kevin Can't Stand It

Michelle revealed to Russell, Jordan and Jeff her target was Chima, that Chima had to go.

The “Have Have Not” game was played, in which they all worked together to win food and other stuff for the house for the week. They were put into teams of two for the game and had to taste test things and make matches of two of several casseroles. It appeared that whatever was won, was what they got to eat that day. Poor sport Chima seemed to slow the game down for everyone. After 10 minutes they had to see if they matched up everything. They won food for everyday but Monday, and they got a BBQ grill as well as no cold showers. They didn’t win a steak and lobster dinner though.

I had to turn the show off at this point for “True Blood,” but it is recording. From what I was told, we saw Michelle put up Chima and Nat, and Tuesday is Chima’s big meltdown and escort out of the house.

Post Note: I finally finished the show. Natalie basically said exactly what Jeff said . . . she hasn’t had to feel unsafe until this very moment . . . cause she had Jessie protecting her!

Poor Chima

Big Brother tells us to tune in Tuesday when one contestant self destructs and is removed from the game. Hmmm who could it be :)

Double Post Note: Some extra feed caps I grabbed so you can see some of Jessie’s Widows new hairdos. I certainly hope Lydia is still working on Nat’s hair, cause friends don’t do that to other friend’s hair! Then again, they are fighting over Mr. Pectacular.

First up, a bit more on “Chimagate.” The Examiner spoke to Chima, who insists she was not evicted from the show, but left on her own, and the producers want people to think they kicked her off.

Tonight’s show is said to address “Chimagate” as the promos people have seen are calling it “the most explosive moment in Big Brother history!”

Now for some meager spoilers, read on . . .
