Eric Winter To Moonlight?

Eric Winter To Moonlight?

Posted by Dustin on 03.17.2008 at 3:24 pm

Ausiello is reporting that Eric Winter (Jason, “Brothers and Sisters”) is set to guest star on CBS’ “Moonlight” for at least three episodes, possibly more, when the show returns on April 25th.

This of course means bad news for “Brothers and Sisters” fans who were hoping maybe Kevin and Jason would work things out. Looks like Kevin will be staying with Scotty after all, at least for now.

Both Ausiello at TVGuide and Kristin at E! are reporting that when “Brothers and Sisters” return Rebbecca and Justin will get a DNA test to settle once and for all if she’s a walker, or if Ken Olin’s character David might be her daddy after all. The topic always seems to come up lately in discussions about “Brothers and Sisters” and now we’ll soon get an answer! For fans of the show I’m adding a new poll up about it!

So this is the last pre-strike episode of “Brothers and Sisters.” The show is scheduled to return, but it will probably be a good month to a month and a half before we see a new episode. Anyway, let’s dish about this episode.

Hitting FAR too close to home, Robert continued campaigning for President and it seems they’ve entered the primaries. In this episode he was working to win the Michigan primary. He attempted to the Governor of Michigan to endorse him, but the Governor wouldn’t. I was lost here. Do we know why he wouldn’t? Did I miss something? Maybe he just thought Robert wasn’t Republican enough?

Jason and Robert faced off this week too, as Jason learned Robert had hired Isaac, the man who outed him during Robert’s first campaign for Senate. Honestly I was expecting from the previews that this was to be such a major and huge issue of the show. It however seemed to be just a blurp. Robert said it was water under the bridge, that Isaac was good at his job. Jason however didn’t like that explanation at all. Jason felt he was brought out as the gay guy for the gay friendly states and hid away other times. Perhaps this will be brought up later down the road. Jason is always defending Robert to Kevin, maybe now he’ll see he’s not such the perfect older brother after all.

Kitty watched Robert’s brats, I mean kids, and they all ended up stuck in a hotel sick together. Kitty finally laid down the law with them, refusing to let them walk all over her or treat her like “The wicked step-mother.” She told them right now she was the wicked step mother, so get into bed, shut up and rest! By the end of the episode it seemed to gain her some respect with the kids. They were bonding as a family when the news that Robert won Michigan came in. I have to wonder if they plan to actually make Robert the President of the United States or not? That would kind of complicate things, and take the show far too much into “West Wing” territory for my tastes.

Kevin met Scotty’s friends out at a gay bar, and it didn’t go so well. They couldn’t forget the history between Kevin and Scotty, and they also felt Kevin was a bit uptight. Meanwhile Sarah received her divorce papers and decided she wanted to go get drunk, and decided uptight Kevin should go out with her. It didn’t help that her soon to be ex, the shmuch that he is, took his new girl (his former ex-wife) to Paris for her birthday. That was what Sarah always wanted but Joe never did for her. I hate Joe! They ended up at the gay bar, it was Karaoke night. Scotty and his friends were there, which is why Kevin picked it. He was determined to show them he could be fun, but it was Sarah who seemed to take control of the night and made friends with everyone! It was great to see Sarah letting her hair down a bit and having some fun. Kevin simply got sloshed and attempted to sing, but pretty much made a fool of himself. Graham brought a drunk Sarah her divorce papers, which she signed. They then had a little one night stand thing, which I’m sure will turn into more than a one night stand.

Rebeca tried to figure out what she wanted to do in life. It was suggested she look into photography, as she always seems to have a camera with her. She met with David, who gave her advice, as well as some old photos he took of Holly. Rebbecca then photographed her mom, and talked to her about David. Rebbecca let her mom know that David really loved her, which seemed to make Holly uncomfortable. Holly went to see David to thank him for his help with Rebbecca, and they had some romantical moments. Meanwhile Rebbecca seemed entranced by the photos she took of her mom and the photos David took of her years ago. Okay was I missing something here? It seemed like Rebbecca was having this “Aha” moment that I was not catching onto.

Finally Saul went in search of Milo, but found Milo was out of town. Milo was letting a friend of his stay at his place. Saul and Milo’s friend talked about Milo and his divorce, how hard it was for Milo. I was just waiting for Saul to end up pouncing on this guy, why I don’t know. Now I wonder if this means Milo will be coming back for a visit when the show returns.

Ahhhhhh! I don’t think I can wait for the next new episode. It seems like it won’t be here for forever.

Brothers And Sisters: The Return Of Jason

Brothers And Sisters: The Return Of Jason

Posted by Dustin on 02.11.2008 at 11:05 pm

Finally we got “Brothers and Sisters” back! A new episode is expected next week, then more following in April. I can’t wait to see how the season ends.

Tommy and Julia continued to attempt to repair their marriage, but this week all their issues bubbled to the surface. Tommy felt Julia knew what Leena looked like, he had no clue about her affair. Julia felt they only slept together once and they were drunk, while he had an on going thing. He pointed out she left him, she blamed him for their son’s death, she wouldn’t talk to him. On and on it went. I think these two need to get themselves into counseling fast if they want to save this marriage!

Nora and Isaac finally went out on a date, just the two of them. Nora told Kitty it went well, Kitty told Nora Isaac said the same thing. For me this was the snoozer of the evening. I am just not thinking these two are that cute together honestly.

Graham and Sarah went to San Francisco to meet with some business men from China about putting Ohi Foods in their stores. Graham even tried to entice her into going out for a fun evening after, but she said no to that. They met with the people and reached a deal. Sarah seemed please and opened up to Graham a little more. She asked about that fun evening . . . .Opps he thought she had said no so he made other plans with another woman. Sarah was a tad bit jealous!

The major event of the evening though was the return of Jason! Jason came back, causing drama for Kevin and an uncertain future for Scotty. Scotty ended up insisting Jason stay for dinner, when he showed up, so they could talk. Jason agreed. Scotty pushed them to talk . . . and soon words were flying! Keven was hurt that Jason wouldn’t call, feeling he’d been left. Jason reminded Kevin he promised to wait, but again Kevin hadn’t heard from Jason. Jason’s excuse was that he thought it would make things easier if he didn’t call and talk to him, because he too missed him so much. Kevin didn’t like that answer much, and I have to say neither did I! Scotty was sure he was going to be dumped, because Kevin still loved Jason so it seemed. Kevin however told Scotty later he was the one he wanted. Scotty asked Kevin not to see Jason then, anymore than he’d have to because of the family connections. I have to say, I’m still not liking where this story is going at all. I think Kevin still is in love with Jason, but for some reason is convincing himself he wants Scotty.

Next week’s episode looks to be good, as Jason faces Robert over his gayness’ impact on his campaign, Sarah and Kevin go to a karoake bar and Sarah wakes up in bed with Graham!
