A bunch of spoilers for Mid-February here . . . of note there are two weeks of “Private Practice” as the spoiler release went out a bit later for it than the “Grey’s” episode for the same date. Previews for this bunch include . . . .
On “Private Practice,” Sam reconnects with his estranged sister.
On “Castle,” the first of a two-parter guest staring the one and only Jennifer Beals and “Drop Dead Diva’s” Jason Stamberg, both who play agents that work with Castle and Becket on an international conspiracy case.
On “The River,” the second episode finds the family/boat crew face to face with “guardians of the jungle.”
On “Body of Proof,” a body is found dead in a freezer of an Italian restaurant . . . I swear I watched this already? Or did “Castle” do a similar story?
On “Revenge,” it looks like we are finally nearing the present, where Daniel gets his at the engagement party?
On “Grey’s” and “Private Practice,” a two part cross-over as they turn to Derek to help Mason’s mom Erica with her brain tumor.
On “Desperate Housewives,” if you suspected Orson is the person who killed Alejandro . . . you may be right as he is back!
Desperate Housewives: Don’t Call My Name, Alejandrooooooo . . . Just call me Ramonnnnnnnn
Posted by Dustin on 01.25.2012 at 10:31 pm
So the latest episode of “Housewives” had Susan and Gabby scrambling to clean up Susan’s mess with Alejandro’s latest wife, who came to town thinking Susan had stolen her man. This all happened as Gabby was having the room Alejandro was killed in redone before Carlos came home, so he wasn’t further reminded of what happened. The blood stain on the floor and carpet she claimed was a wine stain.
Alejandro/Ramon’s wife showed up and met with Gabby, when Gabby decided it was time to tell the truth after Susan let her know another step-daughter had been molested. Gabby never said she killed Alejandro, but did point out his name was not Ramon, that he had a family before his new one, and disappeared on them . . . She said Alejandro returned to find her when she revisited her old home town and said some not nice things about him that got him angry. She told the new wife he was a child molester, which at first she wouldn’t believe . . . until her own daughter claimed it was true. All this coupled with the “Red Wine Stain,” well the new wife seemed to fill in the pieces. It seems like she’s keeping the secret . . . but who knows. I’m sure something will come out eventually and get the girls in hot water again. Ben’s construction site is in big trouble, I’m sure that cement foundation Alejandro is hidden in will break open at any moment! Knowing this show, it will crack when a tornado hits, and crashes a plane into it! Have they done an earthquake yet? That could be an option too!
Lynette attempted to move on by dating Renee’s hairdresser. Of course it was a huge disaster of a first date, because she did what she does best . . . critique and micro-manage. Apparently that’s what this guys ex-wife did, and it ended their marriage. Oops! But there must be something there, as it seems they give a second date a try. Frankly, I’m not sure I want to watch another date!
Bree, however, was a very very very fun date! Bree continued her drinking binge, along with her string of men. Her Reverend became concerned with her, even suggesting . . . no telling her that she wouldn’t be running the bake sale this year as it was for her own good. Bree didn’t like that, showed up, and got into a huge fight with a woman who happened to be married to one of her one-night-stands. Bree decided she liked being bad, the town slut, and walked out of the bake sale with her head held high. Honestly, I loved it! It was shades of Kimberly from “Melrose Place!”
Finally Ben proposed to Renee, who accepted. However his conscious got the best of him and he confessed while he loved her, he proposed because he was having money problems and she had money. Renee was devastated and ended things, unsure if Ben ever really loved her. Poor Renee! Why do I feel like Renee might end up with Tom in the end?
Some February 2012 ABC Spoilers, Including “The River”
Posted by Dustin on 01.24.2012 at 8:25 pm
Some upcoming ABC Spoiler Releases for their shows, including the new show “The River.” I definitely plan to give this one a try. I also STILL have to catch up with “Revenge.” I keep forgetting to watch that one.
These spoilers are mainly for the second week of February. Many shows are on a short hiatus from now until then. In this edition . . .
On “Castle,” Castle and Beckett go back in time with an old school hollywood-like mystery.
On “Revenge,” William Devane guests as Conrad’s father, who comes to town as Daniel and Emily’s engagement party nears . . .
On “Grey’s Anatomy,” It’s Valentine’s Day and the doctors are all trying to plan the perfect romantic evening with their partners.
On “Housewives,” Julie returns, very pregnant; and Lynette has her first time with a man since her break-up with Tom.
Read on for the full spoilers . . . as well as info on “The River” and its premier.
This post is my thoughts on the previous two episodes of “Desperate Housewives.” Obviously a lot went down, and I have been cramming so much TV in these past few days, that I haven’t processed everything. So I’m doing my best to comment on things that stood out . . .
Bree got another note after Detective Vance was killed simply saying “Thank You.” The girls wondered why only Bree was getting these notes, not all of them? Good question! It’s looking more and more like it could be Orson, trying to atone for the past? Otherwise who else is there that is alive that could be doing this to help Bree? Possibly Rex’s jerky son who stole her company and now feels guilty?
Carlos got wasted and couldn’t remember what he did the night before, and his car went missing. However it later seemed it wasn’t Carlos after all, and Gabby sent him back to rehab. She then had to start learning the ropes of the company to save it from going under while Carlos was gone.
Ben is another major suspect, as they’ve really maken him take a turn for the scummy side. First getting caught by Mike dealing with loan sharks, then having his interest in Renee renewed when it came out she has 12 million dollars. Boooooo! I really liked Ben. Why do they have to make him a crummy guy?
My disdain for Tom started to wane when he and Lynette spent time together and she slipped into old habits of making what at first seemed to be snide remarks. He brought a pizza over and she said yet again he forgot she likes thin crust. He said his new girl friend would never do that. She then pointed out after 22 years, she would think he’d know what she likes . . . it makes her feel like she never mattered. Ouch! In the end she sent him to Paris to be with his new girlfriend, saying the point of all this was to find out if others could make them happy. I don’t have any idea how this whole storyline will end, I’m not seeing it ending happy though.
Bree was hilarious in the latest episode being a bad girl and going out partying and drinking. It looks like next week she might get herself into even bigger trouble than this week’s shenanigans! She’ll probably end up in rehab with Carlos sooner or later.
Susan Susan Susan . . . she’s once again blown it! Feeling guilty and going to see Alejandro/Ramon’s other family . . . she ended up writing a check claiming to be buying some first edition legos. Is anyone that stupid? First edition legos? But whatever, later the wife had all she needed to track down Susan with accusations thanks to her check . . . especially after Susan told the abused step-daughter that she never had to worry about her step-dad returning. Something that the step-daughter told her mother. Susan just couldn’t let it go could she!
Just a few ABC spoilers for Mid-To-Late January. In this batch . . .
On “Castle,” a murder could bring down Castle’s buddy the Mayor.
On “Body of Proof,” a sensational murder trial has the public up in arms when an accused mother goes free . . . . sounds familiar!
On “Revenge,” see how Daniel proposed to Emily/Amanda.
On “Once Upon A Time,” we meet the dwarves when Snow’s heart breaks over Charming’s upcoming wedding.
On “Desperate Housewives,” a potential new suspect in Alejandro’s murder?
Also of note, I am probably going to be giving ABC’s “Good Christian Belles” and “The River” a try when they start up in February.
Some more spoilers for returning ABC shows. Some quick snip-its before the full on spoiler releases . . .
“Castle” returns with a death right before Ryan’s wedding!
On “Body of Proof,” an undercover cop is murdered.
A shocking game changer plays out on “Revenge.”
On “Grey’s,” Teddy questions what happened to lead to Henry’s death.
On “Private Practice,” it looks like Sam and Addison are once again OVER.
Emma tries to help Hansel and Gretel in the real world, while their story plays out in the fairy tale world on “Once Upon A Time.”
On “Desperate Housewives,” could Renee I mean Lynette be taking over Tom’s old job at Carlos’ company?
Some spoilers of the shows when they finally begin returning in January next year. Included in this roundup . . . .
On “Body of Proof” it appears Ethan and Peter both like the new girl.
On “Revenge,” it seems we finally have caught up to the birthday celebration which brings about Daniel’s murder! (I have to catch up with the last few episodes of this show myself).
On “Grey’s Anatomy,” Christina is stuck working in the O.R. with Teddy, who still doesn’t know Henry is dead!
On “Private Practice,” It appears Addison is pregnant . . . or in deep denial?
On “Once Upon A Time,” it seems Emma plans to run for Sheriff, and Rumple has a son?
On “Desperate Housewives,” Gabby fears Carlos killed Detective Vance, while Bree plans to end it all.
Desperate Housewives: Another One Run Down In The Road!
Posted by Dustin on 12.05.2011 at 8:24 pm
This Sunday was the mid-season finale of “Desperate Housewives,” which as usual ended with a cliff hanger. It was a good one too.
Bree’s been drinking it up, while the other girls are questioned by Chuck about Alejandro. He doesn’t know who he is yet, just that he was at Gabby’s house one night. He gets down and dirty with them, making threats to all of them. He also goes after Ben, knowing Alejandro made a cell phone call from his construction site before going missing, so he’s getting a warrant to shut it down. He said he’d have it by morning . . .
Susan meanwhile becomes a hit because of her art, and has a chance to move to New York, away from all this. She wants to go, but Mike doesn’t feel now is the time to move. They of course fight about it.
Tom and his girlfriend Jane are planning to go to Paris . . . Really Tom? You schmuck! Who takes a girlfriend to Paris after a few weeks? Anyways, Lynette tracks him down at the men’s room at the airport and begs him not to go, the kids may need him. She confesses all, and fears she may be in jail soon. He wished she had told him, but she reminded him they weren’t together and he had his new life. Jane of course catches them and when she learns Tom may not be able to go, she’s furious. She takes her ticket and says she’s going, she hopes to see him . . . .
Chuck later confronts Gabby, he’s found out just who the man is, her step father. Gabby played dumb, I honestly don’t know why she didn’t point out that her step father had been dead for years . . . . Bree finally goes to Chuck saying she’ll confess, just leave her friends alone. He refused though because he knew the way to make her suffer, was to make her friends suffer . . .
As the show ended, we see Bree get into a black car looking a tad drunk as she speeds off. Later a black car mowes Chuck down in the middle of the street! The show ends with Bree checking into a seedy motel. She has a gun and a bottle of booze. She has a vision of Mary Alice and asks her if it hurts to be dead . . . .
So the show seems to be heavily hinting that Bree ran down Chuck . . . who is dead according to the previews for when the show returns. But that’s too easy! It could have been Carlos, sneaking out of rehab. Tom could have done it and jetted to Paris. Ben also had reason to want him dead as he had millions riding on the construction site. Who killed Chuck? I guess this is the new mystery that will wrap the show up.
I feel like this episode tried to redeem Tom a bit, but I still can’t forgive him. He’s still a schmuck! It also set things up for Susan to perhaps leave the lane . . . will the other girls also move away? It’s been said that the show’s final episode will fast forward to show us all the ladies futures . . . .
The beginning of December sadly has few new ABC shows . . . and a lot of repeats. After this week “Private Practice” and “Grey’s” (already aired) won’t be back until next year. “Revenge” and “Castle are both repeats, so something tells me we will see their final episodes of the year this and next week as well . . .
On “Body of Proof,” a murder victim is substituted for a med school cadaver.
On “Once Upon A time,” David aka Prince Charming must choose between Mary/Snow and the women who claims to be his wife.
On “Desperate Housewives,” Bree, back on the bottle, watches her life spin out of control as Chuck gets close to the truth.
Info : Please, resolve the addition below before post any new comment...
Guest_3468 : Watching PP, and all I can think is yea Violet!!! About time tell off that arse, can't believe he'd even try that
Dustin : Been thinking, maybe she's projecting something that happened with someone else onto her teacher
Dustin : I gotta rewatch Ringer as usual lol. Yeah she acted like she was really upset, I just thought she was playing for her friends sake though. I'd rather see Juliette go down in flames though
Guest_3468 : hoping ti's a plot between the two of them for some reason
Guest_3468 : Ausiello said that storyline turns into something else all together, that's what I hope because I hate it so far
Guest_2273 : I'm confused? On Ringer, I thought Juliette was making the rape up? The teacher turned her down. Now they are making it seem like it's real?
Guest_3699 : And don't forget the police record. Sounds like a keeper to me. But let's get mad at Annie for watching out for us. Although the GPS tracker was a little stalkerish. LOL And the burned down sororiety house? Hasnt this story been done before?
Dustin : I agree, and the Liam storyline is the pits too. Hey you ran me over and lied about it, and have multiple identities, wanna be my gal?
Guest_3699 : I give up on 90210. Is Naveed really that stupid? Let's tell a slightly unhinged, barely recovered addict who moons about her daughter 24/7 that she lives down the block and Silver is dating her dad!!! She'll probably take that really well.
Dustin : I'll probably watch on Hulu or On Demand, not much on till Next Week it seems
CGinCA : I am really enjoying Alacatraz, my only complaint is that for whatever reason, I seem to have to retape it a lot due to poor volume, and or digital adjustments.... So really watching twice and learning a lot each time.
Dustin : I have not tried it. Do you like it? Keep meaning to catch up on Demand
CGinCA : Is anyone watching Alacatraz?
Dustin : Yes I was thinking maybe he's connected to the book of Fairytales Henry has? His typewriter was definitely old fashion
DNA : Dustin, are you saying you think the "writer" wrote the fairy tale book? I liked that his arrival shook up the mayor. Not sure how I feel about the long drawn out story between Snow White and the prince. We know they get together in the fairy tale land so I'm not feeling all anxious about it. As for the present time, I don't think kissing out of the street half an hour after you promised your wife you'd get marriage counselling is a nice move.
Dustin : Last night's Once, Ehhhh! Seemed like a filler. As for the "Writer," Hmmmmm. Tied to the book maybe?
Dustin : Sorry forgot to write it up! Will get on that. Basically Jake was a toddler and was there, they used his memories to see what happened. We learned the kids (who really were more like College Students!) did not set the fire, Witch Hunters did in order to kill Cassie's father . . . . who escaped! Joe Lando has been cast as her father
CGinCA : What was the twist, I saw everything up to her coming back, but the last ten minutes my signal broke up so missed the graveyard stuff on Secret Circle.
Dustin : LOVED Secret Circle and the twist with Cassie's dad!
Dustin : Secret Circle didn't tape, waiting for Hulu, will watch it tonight.
Dustin : I don't like this new therapy session at the beginning and end of each show
Guest_3699 : I hate that they make Addison so dependant on the men in her life. That being said, I actually really like her and Jake together.
Dustin : Will write a few more posts today/tonight. Parenthood is killing me!
Dustin : I can't believe we have to wait 2 weeks for Glee though
Guest_2273 : Loving Emma's marry me will number!
Dustin : Got through Greys, PP and PLL lol. Only a few more shows and I'm caught up!
Dustin : Finally home and watching! May have to just a quick post of quick thoughts as a new week starts tomorrow lol!!
Guest_686 : It's official Pete is the biggest jerk ever, he has no hope now what so ever, disgusting, did you ever love her at all
Dustin : Finally home tomorrow! A weeks worth of shows to catch upo on
Dustin : Finally home tomorrow! A weeks worth of shows to catch upo on
Guest_3699 : Loved the shows tonight! Really enjoyed Greys. Didn't get a chance to watch PP yet. Secret circle was great and so was Vampire Diaries.
Dustin : Loved Secret Circle tonight! now to watch Grey's!
Dustin : Chadd, not sure. Go away for a week, so am going to be missing a whole week. The December shows were sooooooooo slow. It seems to just now be picking up
Dustin : Yes! Loved PLL. Gunna write that up in a bit. Parenthood is on tonight, along with some ABC stuff
Guest_3699 : Thank goodness some new shows last night!!!
