So “Grimm” moved to Tuesday last night with an alien inspired episode. I kinda feel like with this week and last week’s “monsters” that the show is running out of ideas and is really reaching. A volcano monster and an alien-like creature? I worry what is next . . . Oh wait, the spoilers below say what it is!
In spite of reaching with the monsters, the storylines are still good, and the show has been given a third season. That’s good, because there are only 4 episodes left and I doubt we will be getting a lot of answers. Nick finally shared the key with Monroe, who figured out it figured into an old map . . . a treasure map. But what was buried? Nick went to Renaurd who didn’t know, but had heard rumors. The knights templar, the ancestors of the Grimm, were the ones who betrayed the royals and hid the treasure. He said it had to be important enough that they wanted it kept from everyone. He said some say it’s the cross and nails used to crucify Christ, others say it’s Mohamed’s sword, then there were other artifacts related to various prophets. I wonder, based on the odd shape of the key, if it leads to the Ark? The key actually looks like the two tablets of the ten commandments . . .
Finally Juliette’s memory came back, and she went to Monroe. I think it’s safe to say her entire memory didn’t come back though. She seems to have remembered enough about Nick, that she loves him, and that he told her he was a Grimm. She clearly doesn’t remember the whole explanation, or thinking he was nuts and needed help. I can’t remember if she saw Monroe’s true self? I know Nick planned to have him show it to her . . . She went to Monroe and asked about Grimms, he told her it was someone who could see into the heart of darkness. She remembered Nick saying the same thing. She wants him back, but fears he doesn’t want her anymore. Monroe assured her that is not the case.
Next week Nick gets kissed by a witch, and only Juliette can save him! Looks like a reunion episode to me. Spoilers for the next two episodes below . . .
So it’s been awhile since I blogged about “Grimm.” While I’ve been enjoying the show as usual, the storylines slowed down a bit, so I didn’t have too much to say. This week’s episode picked the pace up again. There are only four more episodes left, and the show now moves to Tuesdays.
After drinking the potion, Juliette no longer lusted for Renard, but she still didn’t recall Nick. However slowly she began to be haunted by him. It started off as what looked like a ghost in her house, and over the past few episodes grew more solid. This week Nick was all over, she couldn’t escape him. However they were nothing but short fragments of memory. One of the women involved in Nick’s cases that she had to translate spanish for recognized something in Juliette and has been helping her. Juliette had to pick one memory, one Nick to focus on and block the others out. When she did this, it seemed her memories slowly came back. By the end of the show she had remembered Nick proposing to her! However based on the previews for next week, I think she may remember something else. We saw her asking Monroe to tell her what a Grimm was!
Renard and Nick, along with Hank, have been getting along surprisingly well since the truth came out. Their whole story has been pretty much stuck. Again next week finally has things moving forward, with Nick showing Monroe the key, and Monroe figuring out what it is. We know Renard also made a copy of it as well.
Finally Adeline has basically been stuck with some creepy old gypsy lady in Europe for weeks now. We finally found out what she wants, and I guessed right! She’s willing to sell her royal baby, not for money, but for the return of her powers! A woman told her she didn’t know if it could be done, but Adeline says thats the only deal she’ll make . . . otherwise she might as well abort the kid. Everyone gasped at her arrogance. I’m not sure what they expect to do with this kid? Lay claim to the throne one day? Use it in some black rites?
Spoilers Below for when “Grimm” moves to Tuesdays next week!
“Grimm” finally returned this week, picking up where it left off. Adeline was in jail and wanted Renard to get the key from Nick for his brother. However the captain seems to be working his own agenda with some resistance fighters in France. Meanwhile Nick learned the Captain and Juliette were involved ….
Rosalie finally returned this week, and she and Monroe figured out that Juliet and Renard were basically under a spell thanks to Adeline’s potion and the cure her mom gave Renard. They felt they could fix it, but all three had to be together and it would be tricky.
Juliet and Renard’s relationship got more bizarre and took a violent turn as she kept beating him and then stole his gun and shot at him! Nick covered for her with the cops, but realized they had to get this cure to work or things would just get worse for all …
Renard got the key, but lied to Adeline and said he hadn’t found it yet. They then had angry sex, and he exposed his true face to her. He is some melted face zombie looking thing. Not a good look! Adeline doesn’t have her powers still, so when Renard asked her to fix this she said she couldn’t heal him. Something tells me her going around and sleeping with him and earlier his brother is some bizarre way to get her powers back, or maybe just a portion of them.
Renard called Nick to meet, Nick knew he had the key. They fought, but Renard told Nick he wasn’t his enemy. Nick knew he was a Royal, he figured that out. Renard said they needed to basically work together to keep this key from Adeline and the others, or they are both as good as dead. Renard have the key back as a show of faith it seems.
Nick and Renard ended up at Nick’s where Monroe, Rosalie and Juliette assembled. Nick drank a potion similar to what Renard drank as the first part of the fix. He doubled over in pain and turned red much like Renard had …. The show then cut to the Royals castle and my TiVo cut off the last minute! Grrrr!
I sure hope they can fix this Juliette and Renard thing as its become tiresome. I’m assuming we will also see Nick’s mom back at some point and not happy to see her son now working with a royal.
It’s literally been forever since the last episode of “Grimm,” but the gang finally returns this week. Several other shows also return too, so I’m looking forward to some good TV hopefully!

Some November spoilers ahead for “Grimm” and “Revolution.” Nothing is out for “Parenthood” yet. It is pre-empted this week due to “The Voice” running long, and next week for the election.
A couple of spoiler releases for some upcoming shows on NBC. In this bunch . . .
-On “Parenthood,” Christina goes through surgery on the same day as Max’s big speech. Oh no!
-On “Grimm,” this is the post Halloween episode, and it seems Captain Renard’s obsession with Juliette may go to “the next level.”
-On “Revolution,” there is no show this week because of the debates. On the next show, we get a look at Aaron’s back story. This show kinda is becoming “Lost” in a lot of ways . . .
-On ” The New Normal,” two spoiler releases, one for what looks to be a humorous Halloween episode. Bryan plans a “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” themed Halloween!
I have to say I’m really loving Season 2 of “Grimm.” They’ve really been doing an excellent job of tying each episode into the other, and continuing a storyline arc. They didn’t do that so well last season, which is why I started getting a little bored with the show.
I’m really loving Hank being on Team Grimm. I loved Hank and Monroe bonding the other week, and Hank asking Monroe to change for him. When Nick took him to the trailer I was dying over his reaction to all the weapons. I’m also glad that Hank knows it was Monroe who saved him from the Ogre.
Even though I knew it was coming, I can’t stand the whole Juliette and Renard obsession after the kiss. The trailers make is seem that Renard is really gunna go a little nutty over her. I hope Juliette isn’t going to fall for him as well. This whole story will probably be what exposes Renard to Nick though. I was also slightly annoyed over the misleading teasers of Juliette remembering, when in fact it turned out all to be a dream Nick was having.
The teasers are also showing the return of Adaline the Hexenbeast. She wants to know who killed her mom, and suspects it is Nick. She also seems to be getting into bed with Renard’s brother. We haven’t seen too much of him as of late, or what he’s up to other than trying to get those keys. My guess is Adaline’s return will also bring Nick’s mom back to town. The teasers are showing Adaline with her powers back too . . . I don’t know if that’s also just misleading or not. If she has her powers back, it won’t be good for anyone.
I can’t wait for the Halloween episode in two weeks to see how they tackle the story of La Lorena. I’m not sure how this will work in Portland, as it’s a Southwest/Mexican ghost story of a woman who drowned her kids . . . but it should be interesting!

On “The New Normal,” Jane has to go to David for medical, and sexual advice. Oh boy!

Guest_3845 : Agreed! First finale this season that I can't wait to see what happens!!
Dustin : Wow, glad Nashville is coming back after that finale!
Dustin : I just realized I forgot to watch the Bates Finale! Ahhhh! I have like 4 shows I need to catch up on in the matter of a few days lol
Guest_4184 : I really like Scandal. As with any Shonda show, it has ups and downs but overall I enjoyed it. Not sure where the are going to go with the next season though?
Dustin : I'm gunna finally watch season 1 and 2 of scandal over the summer, but I'm afraid to get drawn into another Shonda project lol
Guest_4700 : I agree with Grey's. Saw that ending coming about 1/2way through. This seems to be the season for lackluster finales. But SO GLAD to see Rookie Blue starts next week!!!
Guest_3912 : This is gonna sound bad, but I really wasn't shocked by the way they ended it...I hope they really didn't just kill him off
Dustin : Well that grey's finale sucked! Jeeze!
Dustin : I will be getting my OUAT thoughts up soon, want to rewatch it again. I am grading all week, so I'm doing a lot of multitasking. Also the new schedules for Fall are coming out, will post them soon. I think I'm gunna start moving more toward cable shows. I already know the shows I wanna see on Networks won't last lol
Dustin : Yeah I thought that at first too, but then I think he was talking about the shadow figure?
Guest_3215 : They said Peter Pan at the end of the finale. The blonde "lost one" mentioned it but he made it seem like he was Pan?
Dustin : Will get them up tomorrow. Thinking Neil went to Wonderland, good way to introduce that spinoff. interesting way they went around the Peter Pan copyright. I don't think they said his name? Hate this organization of Tamara and Greg's, too much like Lost. Doubt that was greg's dad he dug up, a regina trick.
Guest_4957 : Dang it OUAT! Curious to hear your thoughts about tonight's show!
Dustin : No I don't think so either.
DNA : I think Smash won't be back
Dustin : NBC renews Parenthood! So happy!
Dustin : I had noticed he had lost a lot of weight recently. I thought it was him just getting into shape. Now I guess not.
Dustin : Yeah Very sad.
Guest_1711 : Did you see that Cory Monteith (Finn) entered rehab again? They will be finishing the season without him.
Dustin : Yeah it's likely not going to get another season. The ratings have been pretty bad. I'm sad because just now the show has finally gotten good again!
Guest_3085 : Apparently NBC wants to kill Smash. What else explains the move to Saturdays???
Dustin : i have 90 emails in a folder, most are true blood news i just need to compile into one big post lol
Dustin : Woo hoo I'll have to go look. I know they just revealed the date the other day
DNA : True Blood Season 6 promo is out!
Dustin : Yeah I got to write up the second show still. Behind. Just watched Dallas last night, still have to see if I can watch Revolution again lol
Sean : I was just about to ask you to start reviewing Bates. It is so good and creepy. After watching the second show I see a lot of Twin Peaks in it.
Dustin : yeah i just saw that today. 3 weeks of behind the scenes episodes. Lordy!
Guest_1603 : Actually OUAT is in 4 weeks. In 3 weeks is a behind the scenes episode.
Dustin : 3 weeeks till the next OUAT! Ahhhhhh!
Dustin : Will try and get some posts out tonight and tomorrow Glee, Smash and Grey's
Dustin : Yeah I'm sadly growing bored with smash. You can see Ivy will go back, and this new musical of Karen's is boring
Guest_3355 : On one hand I hate what Derrick is doing but on the other hand, I don't see Karen's relationship with the broody, temper tantrum, man whore going well so I'm all for it. When will this story line be over???
Dustin : Really enjoyed Bates! Will do a write up today
