Once Upon A Time Season 2 Finale

Once Upon A Time Season 2 Finale

Posted by Dustin on 05.14.2013 at 12:49 pm

Fixed some of the mistakes . . . I am multi-tasking this week as I watch, so I’ll have to watch most of these finales over unfortunately.

At some point I’ll probably watch this over again to pick up on clues I missed. The whole episode basically led up to a mass voyage to Neverland where the mysterious Peter Pan is in the business of kidnapping young kids. Why? We don’t know yet, but do get somewhat of a hint. I’ll give my thoughts at the end.

In Neverland past, Bae showed up on Hook’s ship, and he was thrilled to learn who he was. He did not turn him over to Pan initially, he thought he could somehow use him for his revenge. Bae was horrified to learn the truth about both his parents and Hook, he thought Hook kidnapped and killed his mother. However he felt Hook was just as horrible as his father. In the end Hook traded Bae to Pan’s men, presumable for something . . . What though? The Lost Boys actually thought Bae was a special boy they were looking for, he’s not. They have a photo of him . . . and off course it’s Henry!

In Storybrooke, everyone was preparing for the end. The dwarves, with the Blue Fairy’s help, created a potion to restore Happy’s memory. He lost it when he crossed the town line. They also gave Gold one for Belle, which he used on her.

Emma, Snow, and Charming had to team up with Regina as well as Hook. Hook realized what Tamara and Greg were planning with the destruction of the town, and he liked his life more than he liked the idea of getting revenge on Gold/Rumple. Because Henry was born in this world, he would not die. Everyone else would with Storybrooke. They kept coming up with various plans to try and save the town. They were going to try and use the last bean David and Hook stole from Tamara and Greg to escape while Regina tried and slow the crystal down to buy them time. However they realized Regina was going to sacrifice herself, and then they decided for some reason to do what they could to save her by sending the crystal through the portal. Unfortunately Hook went and stole the last bean so he could save his own hide. In the end, Emma and Regina together had enough power to stop the crystal from blowing the whole town and everyone off the map. Yay happy ending? Nope!

Their celebration was short lived, Henry was gone. Hook then returned AGAIN! Tamara and Greg took Henry, but why? Blowing up Storybrooke was never the plan, it was a distraction to get Henry. Gold used his globe to locate where Henry was, and Hook recognized the place . . .he knew where they were taking him, to Neverland and to Pan. They all borded the Jolly Roger and took off through a portal in the sea to Neverland.

So what does Pan want with Henry? Giving his lineage, he must have a lot of unknown power. Who or what is Pan? We still don’t know. All we’ve seen is his shadow. I actually think that is why he has been looking for a very special boy. I think all Pan is right now is a Shadow, and he needs to attach himself to a special boy to become human. I think Henry is that boy. Finally Bae did end up in another world . . but where? We knew that when he was found my Aurora, Mulan and Phillip. I wondered when they’d show back up. Seems he finally made it back home, or to what is left of it.

Once Upon A Time : Heading Into The Season Finale . . .

Once Upon A Time : Heading Into The Season Finale . . .

Posted by Dustin on 05.07.2013 at 7:19 pm

So this week’s “Once” was the first of the two-part season finale, both which are Peter Pan-Centric.

In the past, Bae/Neil made his way through the wormhole and landed in Victorian London. There he met Wendy, who had already made friends with “The Shadow” who offered to take her to Neverland. Bae had a bad feeling bout it, and ended up going with the shadow in Wendy’s place, only to be dropped on the Jolly Roger and meet Hook. I don’t think the name Peter Pan was used once, which is probably how they did this storyline and got around trademark laws. It will be interesting to see if we even see who Peter Pan is next week, or if they’ll just keep him a shadow monster. It seemed to me it was the same type of creature Mulan and Sleeping Beauty battled earlier in the season?

Greg and Tamara held Regina captive and tortured her. She revealed she killed Greg’s dad and buried him at the camp site. He went there and dug him up. My guess is this is a trick. If Regina was going to kill someone, I don’t think she’d leave evidence around, let alone bury the body. He’s alive somewhere . . . Tamara and Greg meanwhile work for some secret organization dedicated to destroying magic in this world, saying Storybrook isn’t the first place it crossed over. Oh brother. This is now getting too much like “Lost” or “Fringe” with the conspiracy theories and secret societies. They got ahold of Regina’s fail safe, a black diamond she can use to blow Storybrook off the map. Unfortunately they plan to use it to do just that, as the headquarters commanded them to.

Snow and Charming, using magic, managed to figure out where Regina was and went to save her. They put aside their differences when they learned of the fail safe. Meanwhile Emma finally proved to Neil that Tamara was no good. Upon confronting her, she shot Neil and threw down one of the stolen beans to create a worm hole. For someone who hates magic, she sure uses it a lot! Neil and Emma were both almost sucked through, but Neil sacrificed himself for Emma. Emma finally admitted she still loved him . . . Neil then went through the worm hole. Where will he end up? My guess is Wonderland. The creators are working on a spin-off featuring Alice in Wonderland, and this is an easy way to continue tying the two shows together.

Read on for spoilers from the finale next Sunday!

Once Upon A Time: The Evil Queen Thoughts . . . .

Once Upon A Time: The Evil Queen Thoughts . . . .

Posted by Dustin on 04.28.2013 at 9:54 pm

So tonight answered a major past question, and of course set up the two-part Pan-centric season finale.

Hook returned, trying to team up with Regina. He claimed Greg and Tamara brought him here and tried to convince him to join them and double-cross her, but he is loyal first to her and Cora. He was saddened to hear of Cora’s passing . . . but still would work with Regina if it meant the Crocodile’s destruction. Regina had a plan to destroy Storybook and return home with Henry, everyone else would die, including Gold.

Regina previously overheard Charming and Snow plotting to return home and leave Regina behind. Snow once again was wavering, but Charming made her realize she just can’t be trusted. Regina tested Henry by revealing their plan, and hers. He was disgusted, so she erased his memory. Then there was a whole long back story involving Snow saving a magically disguised Regina, how Regina actually thought Snow might be able to forgive her, but that all fizzled because well Regina is just evil. For a quick second it of course made us all feel for Regina . . . and once again wonder if Snow will ever use one of the 8 million chances handed to her to kill Regina. She realized Regina’s true identity and could shot her dead, but didn’t. I guess it’s supposed to show us how pure of heart she is . . . but we just watched her kill the Queen’s soldiers to save the “innocent” who was really Regina . . . so come on !?!?!

Emma began to realize Tamara might be up to no good and could be who August tried to warn them of. Henry was all in on a new “Operation Cobra,” but it was clear he was also hoping his parents would get back together with Tamara out of the way. No matter how many times Emma said it wouldn’t happen, he held out hope. Oh and Emma’s “superpower” was finally addressed. It seems her ability to detect liars doesn’t work so well when she gets emotional. Emma tried to prove Tamara was up to no good, but couldn’t get the goods on her.

Meanwhile Regina needed Hook’s help to get something hidden deep beneath Storybrooke that was needed for her plan. However what she needed Hook for was to distract the creature her old friend Maleficent had now become. Now we know, she’s still alive! However she’s neither human nor dragon, something in between. My guess is the actress is busy on “True Blood” so this was the best they could do. Regina got something from Snow’s old glass coffin and returned home.

Upon returning home she was shocked to see Hook! It seems he was on team Tamara and Greg all along. They also have a way to block magic, which allowed them to take Regina hostage. Meanwhile Snow, Grumpy and Charming found someone had destroyed their bean field!

The previews show Greg and Tamara apparently planning to destroy Regina, and somehow destroy all of Storybrook in the process? Tamara says all magic is evil and must be destroyed. Hmmm, that will make finding Greg’s daddy difficult no? Also we see a young Bae fall through the wormhole and as everyone believed, apparently become Peter Pan? This wasn’t clear, as we saw him talking to Wendy who seems to be the one to know of Neverland and leading him there. Are they flipping the script and basically making Wendy Pan? And Bae the Wendy part?

ABC May Sweeps and Season Finale Spoilers!

ABC May Sweeps and Season Finale Spoilers!

Posted by Dustin on 04.25.2013 at 8:20 pm

Below are a ton of spoilers for ABC shows for May Sweeps (which begins tonight!) through the season finales. As with last year, “Once Upon A Time’s” finale is under tight wraps. There are huge hints in the two-hour two-part finale thought . . .

On “Once Upon A Time,” well the two-part finale is clearly Pan-centric. Most people are expecting it to come out that Bae is also Peter Pan.
On “Castle,” the season ends with Beckett questioning her relationship with Castle. No new turn of events with the Senator nor her mother’s case it seems . . .
On “Body of Proof,” it seems we won’t see the season finale of this till later, given its late mid-season start.
On “Nashville,” it seems the drama between Teddy and Rayna comes to a head and involves the girls. Will Deacon learn he’s a daddy?
On “Grey’s Anatomy,” a disaster closes out this season. You know it’s not a season finale of “Grey’s” with out some kind of disaster. This year it seems to be some kind of monsoon.

Once Upon A Time Returns!

Once Upon A Time Returns!

Posted by Dustin on 04.21.2013 at 10:04 pm

After weeks of reruns, “Once Upon A Time” finally came back tonight. It was Henry’s birthday, and as a gift Gold let him have anything from the shop. He picked an old wand. He then showed him how the wand worked, turning him to a statue and shattering him! However this was just a nightmare of Gold’s . . . which was brought on by the seer’s prophecy that Henry would be his undoing.

Neil and Henry continued to bond, and Regina asked Gold why his son is so invested in Henry? She was stunned when Gold told him that Bae is his father and he’s Henry’s grandfather. She thought he planned this all along, after all he was the one who procured her for Henry. He said it was as much a shock to him. He said it seems fate has a sense of humor. I don’t think Regina figured out that he only found Emma’s son, knowing it would break her curse. Gold really didn’t know who his father was . . . but if he and Regina still had limited powers, why didn’t he?

Gold went to visit Belle in the hospital. She is glad to see he is still alive, though she still has no memory of him or feelings for him still. However she does feel they were connected in the past. Gold promised to do everything he could to bring her memory back. He knew she always brought out the best in him, and clearly he needs to rediscover the good in him before the darkness drives him to do something bad.

We then learned more about Gold and Belle’s past. We saw how he initially locked her up in his dungeon. Robin Hood ended up showing up to tried to steal a wand from him. However Rumple ended up capturing Robin Hood instead and throwing him in the dungeon where he tortured him. When Rumple left for the day, Belle ran to set Robin Hood free.

Later in Storybrook, Regina visited Belle in the hospital with a gift which seemed to spark her memory. Belle disappeared from the hospital, presumably with Regina. Gold found her missing and a matchbook to a bar left on the bed. He went there looking for her. He found her going by the name Lacey, playing pool and drinking. She said she remembered who she is, her name is Lacey. Right . . . .

Gold new Regina probably had something to do with this, and he confronted her. She told him the only way to break this curse would be true loves kiss, which she doubted Lacey would be giving up to him. He vowed to get Belle back and make her suffer! She said at least they agree on one thing, making people suffer. I’m guessing she’s hoping to lure Gold back to the dark side, aka her side.

Greg, the stranger, and Bae’s fiance continued to search for Greg’s missing father. He had a map of magic spikes, places he thought he could be. They are also bringing some mysterious package into town under the veil of darkness. Something they think will help them . . .

Snow and Charming took Emma to a parcel of land that is protected from view via magic. The giant Anton is there and is busy growing the magic beans. Emma learned that they were planning to use the beans as a portal to go back to their world, and they wanted her to go as well. She seemed conflicted about this, after all she’s never been anywhere but Earth.

Gold had to go to Charming for help, to figure out how he was able to break his curse when Mary fell for others and he was with Katherine. He said for once he’d owe Charming a favor. Charming said he had to show Belle the man she fell in love with, that would be the only way to awakening her memories.

In the past we saw an angry Rumple learning Belle let Robin Hood go. Not only did she let him go, but he duped her and still managed to steal Rumple’s wand. She thought there had to be a good reason he needed it, but Rumple thought it was for greed. He said people only want magic for themselves. He then forced Belle to go with him and watch him deal with this theif.

In Storybrook, Lacey met Robin at the bar, or Robin on this side of the world. Gold showed up to try and win Lacey/Belle back. Gold asked Lacey out on a date, but she said she wasn’t this Belle he goes on and on about. Lacey also said she’s heard how people in town are afraid of him. He said it was just talk asked for a chance, and she agreed to meet him at Granny’s.

Regina confronted Emma over the truth about Henry. Regina wanted to know what Neil is doing here? Emma said he just wants to spend time with his son. Emma told Regina to stopped worrying about everyone else and focus on being the person Henry wants her to be before she looses him for good. Regina wondered what she meant by that? She knew Emma had a secret and promised to find out what it was.

Lacey and Gold went on their date at Granny’s. She doesn’t understand why people are scared of him, she sees a man who wouldn’t hurt anyone. He tries to play the good guy. She begins saying things she used to say in the past, which startles Gold a bit. He knocks over his drink, which spills on her. She says she’ll head to the ladies room and fix herself . . . but never comes back.

In the past we see Rumple and Belle in a carriage searching for Robin Hood. As it turns out, Robin Hood stole the wand to heal a woman he loved, Maid Marion of course. However Rumple wasn’t moved and still wanted to kill him. Belle said there was good in him, she was right about a thief and is right about him. The woman turns out to be pregnant and Belle can’t believe he’d leave a child fatherless. Rumple goes to shoot but misses . . . Belle knows he spared his life as the bow is magic and doesn’t miss.

Back in the present, Lacey ditches Gold. He’s stunned to find her with Robin Hood’s counterpart in this world. Lacey says she only went out with him as she felt sorry for him, and she doesn’t love him and is not Belle. Gold says “no you’re not!” Later Robin Hood’s counterpart apologizes to Gold, he never knew they were together. Gold was tired of being good and ended up taking him. He began beating him when Lacey stumbled out drunk and saw him doing it. Lacey said so it is true what they say about him. Gold said yes, it’s all true. Lacey however is turned on by this side of him, she likes the darkness! I think this is exactly what Regina wanted, for Gold to go bad.

In the past we saw Belle and Rumple return to the castle, and Belle’s feelings for him had obviously changed. His towards her has as well. He let her have access to his library, knowing she liked books.

By the end of the episode Regina followed people and discovered the magic bean garden. Meanwhile Emma asked Neil if he ever thought about going back home to where they are from. He said he’s been trying to forget that place. Elsewhere Greg and Neil’s fiance snuck something big into town. Big enough to fit in a trailer. It turnes out they have Hook!

My Other Thoughts . . .
I think Regina planned all along to get Gold to go bad. Gold is so in love with Belle that when “Lacey” loved his darkside, he embraced it. I think though this will backfire on Regina as all her schemes do. I think if Gold stays bad, it will trigger her memory and she’ll run from him as she initially did.

If Greg is right and his father is being held in one of the magical spiked areas, I have to wonder why? I’m wondering what he knows that Regina would have to keep him so well guarded and locked up? Could he and his son be from another universe and we don’t know that yet?

I’m assuming we will see Robin Hood and Maid Marion again, otherwise why introduce them? Their storyline seemed fairly pointless for such huge fictional characters.

Where the hell is Mulan and Aurora, and what’s going on with Phillip? I hope we see them again before the season is over.

*Update*
I hope ABC doesn’t go there . . . but it just dawned on me. Greg was a “Star Wars” freak. ABC is owned by Disney, who just bought Lucasfilm . . . I really hope they aren’t going to bring “Star Wars” in as an alternate universe.

Once Upon A Time: More Questions As Usual!

Once Upon A Time: More Questions As Usual!

Posted by Dustin on 03.26.2013 at 7:30 pm

So this week’s “Once Upon A Time” is the last show for three whole weeks . . . . Nooooo! I felt like I had a lot more questions by the end than answers, and I wasn’t a fan of the ending at all. This show served to answer the major question “What happened to August/Pinocchio after the curse broke” and also gave us his back story.

To start with, we knew that August knew who Emma and Neil were, though Neil didn’t know who Emma was. He blackmailed Neil into leaving Emma by confronting him with his real identity. This all eventually forced her to go back to Storybook in time to break the curse. August had been bad for way too long, and he has started to turn to wood even then. So what he did was to save himself as much as break the curse. He told Neil when the curse was broken, he’d let him know . . . because obviously that meant Rumple/Gold would be coming for him most likely.

Neil returned to town with his fiance Tamara, who with is honest with about his roots, the town and magic. Color her shocked, but as we soon learn, not really. Tamara has a long sordid past with August. She was initially involved with him when he started turning wooden, and he confided in her about himself and magic. She claimed she had cancer and was dying, which turned out to be a lie. She used him to try and get to magic, and he used her to try and get a cure from a magician known as “The Dragon.” They basically both double crossed each other, but Tamara had the last laugh as she got the cure from him and then promptly killed “The Dragon.” Or so we think? Is he really dead? My guess is probably not.

Who is “The Dragon” and where is he from? That was not told to us. He was presented as an old man, but warned Tamara she had not seen his true form. He was about to transform when he realized she was after his magic. That’s when she zapped him with a stun gun. We know he’s not from the Enchanted Realm, as he would have been stuck in Storybrook with the others. We know there are other worlds out there, Wonderland and Victor Frankenstien’s world for example. He clearly is from another dimension or world is my guess. I’m sure the writers will bring him back when we least expect it and explain his world.

Tamara, who becomes obsessed with magic, ends up trailing August and this is how she finds out about Neil and latches onto him! She seems to have become a magic junkie, and Neil unknowingly leads her right to Storybrook in good time.

Meanwhile in the present Snow goes off to shoot her bow and arrow in the woods and finds August now living in a camper. This leads to a reunion with Gepetto and the revelation to Snow and Charming that magic cabinet/tree could hold two, but he did not tell them so he could send his son through. She slaps him, then apologizes for that. However he feels he did deserve it. Snow thinks it’s another sign of her blackening heart.

Meanwhile Tamara meets August too, and he puts two and two together about her. She tries to get rid of him by telling him she’s cured of cancer (which she eventually admits she never had) and she still has some of “The Dragons” potion. All he has to do is leave town to get it . . . and never come back. August does consider this, but eventually returns to stop her, and she promptly kills him with the stun gun too.

At this point Emma and the others find a dying piece of wood that was August. He tries to warn them, but dies first. Henry realizes he was selfless, brave and true . . . just like in the story. The Blue Fairy is summoned to try and save him. She is able to term him back into a real boy, but he literally becomes a boy again. He also has no memory of Tamara and what she did.

The show ends with Snow confiding to Charming about her black heart. He however sees things differently than she does. He thinks people can change, and she is not destined to become like Regina or Cora. Meanwhile Tamara goes to meet the real man she’s in love with, “The Stranger” who we learned about in the last episode. Yup, they are a couple and together! Though for all he knows, she is using him too on her quest for magic. We know he’s been obsessed with finding Storybrook and his father again. He did confront Regina in this episode, who claimed his father left long ago . . . LIES!

I have to say I’m unhappy we’ve lost adult August. He was nice to look at, and I liked his chemistry with Emma. As this is a fairytale, she’s probably destined to be with Neil in the end.

The next episode will introduce us to a new hero, Robin Hood. Is he from the Enchanted Realm, or are we opening another door to another world here?

Above is the promo for next week’s all new episode titles “Selfless, Brave and True.” No official spoilers have been released for it, my guess is they wanted to keep things hush hush. The following two episodes are Cora centric re-runs (Queen of Hearts and The Miller’s Daughter) but enhanced with on screen text that clues the viewers into a variety of hints dropped on the show, in case you didn’t pick up on them.

Last night when this promo aired, and it got to the end, I was confused. Who the heck was that? It looked like a giant. However watching it again, and digging a bit deeper to find set photos that got leaked, it’s clearly August aka Pinocchio!

Once Upon A Time: Welcome To Storybrooke!

Once Upon A Time: Welcome To Storybrooke!

Posted by Dustin on 03.17.2013 at 8:14 pm

Tonight’s episode was a backstory as to how things first were when Regina created Storybrooke 28 years ago.

The show opened with a young boy and his dad camping in the woods. Suddenly there was a rustle in the trees . . . magic was coming! The boys name was Owen, he was a big star wars fan, as he mentions the colors of lightsabers . . . I think we now know who the stranger who just came to town is! Remember he had the Star Wars theme on his phone?

The next day after the storm was over, suddenly a town was set up in the middle of no where. Sheriff Graham greeted them and welcomed them to Storybrooke . . .

Regina woke in her bed in her new house and in her new town. She realized she had done it. She had enacted the curse. Regina walked around town and reveled in what she did. She met everyone, including the two new strangers in town. She invited them to her house for dinner to find out who they were since she didn’t know them.

In the present, Regina vowed to kill Snow, but Gold warned her not to do this, as it would cost her everything, including Henry. She said she would get her revenge . . . all of it! Gold then promptly warned the others. I guess Queen Know-It-All still has no idea who Henry’s family fully includes.

At Granny’s Diner, Neil and Emma talked about keeping Henry safe from Regina. Neil wanted to take him to New York, but Henry thought they should find a way to get rid of magic. Henry went to the bathroom while at the diner, and gave Neil the slip. Emma was off talking the the mysterious stranger at the time. When she returned and found Henry gone she couldn’t believe he was so naive! Meanwhile the mysterious stranger decided to take a hike into the wilderness.

Back in the past, Regina used the Sheriff’s heart to control him and have him detain the strange man and his son. So now we know how she controlled the sheriff! She talked into it to make him do her bidding.

Henry met up with the mysterious stranger in the woods. It seems Mr. Mystery went to where the boy and his dad were camping. Meanwhile Emma and Neil found that Henry had taken some dynamite from the mines to apparently try and blow up the source of magic?

The older guy called Regina to say he had seen a young boy up in the woods . . . To lure her out there? In the past we saw the young boy and man being chased out of town by the Sheriff. The man sent his son to run as he fought the Sheriff. The dad told the boy to run and not stop, but Regina showed up. She tried to entice him to stay, but he wouldn’t and ran off as Regina watched.

Meanwhile in the present Regina found Henry at the well trying to blow it up. She told him that he’d just get himself killed. He knew of her plan for a new curse, he didn’t want her to go through with her plan to kill Mary Margaret, to make him love her, it would be magic and a fake. Emma, Neil and Charming showed up to stop her as well. Henry came between Regina and the others before it became a blood bath. Henry said magic was the problem, they had to destroy it before it destroys them all.

In the past, the boy brought cops back to where he was when he last saw his dad, the town limits. However they never heard of Storybrooke nor could they get to the town. The boy said he would one day find his dad. Regina was at the town limits where they were as well, but he and the cops couldn’t see her. The magic shielded her from them. Regina seemed, for a moment, touched by the poor boy. She even cried a tear!

At the end Mary Margaret went to Regina and offered herself up to end the feud. She told Regina to just kill her before anyone else dies. Regina said Henry would never forgive her, but she never learns from her mistakes. Regina then took Snow’s heart! In her heart was a little spot of blackness! Regina told Snow that she’s darkened her heart, and it will just keep growing stronger and darker. Snow told her to crush it, but Regina said she’d rather watch Snow destroy herself and her family along the way. Regina said then Henry would be hers! Regina then gave Snow her heart back, as she knew she could have everything after all!

The last scene was the mysterious stranger, who it was confirmed was the little boy, vowing to find his dad.

So where is this boys dad? Where is he being kept? In the hospital where Belle was? Will he be the same age as he last was? Or as an outsider will he have aged?

As for Snow’s heart, oh my. Does this mean we will watch her become evil like Regina too? I think that might be too much for me.

Once Upon A Time: Cora’s Cold Black Missing Heart!

Once Upon A Time: Cora’s Cold Black Missing Heart!

Posted by Dustin on 03.10.2013 at 8:08 pm

Neil/Bae sailed home on the Jolly Roger as Emma tried to keep Gold alive, while at the same time worried about Cora and Regina getting their hands on his daggar.

Gold had a plan to save himself and deal with Cora once and for all. After the arrived he summoned Snow. He offered her the very same candle Cora offered her as a child. They could use it to kill Cora and save Rumple, the only problem was that Cora’s heart was not in her body and must be returned first. Snow saw an opportunity to do away with both of them . . . but Rumple was quick to point out she’d be killing Henry’s grandfather! Could she live with that?

Regina and Cora came to face off with Emma Charming and Gold. Cora was determined to kill Rumple and end this, but then she realized someone had her heart and sent Regina to deal with them. Snow had found Cora’s heart, she found it in Regina’s heart chamber locked up. She then used the candle over the heart to get rid of Cora once and for all . . . However Regina then found Snow with it. Snow claimed she wanted to give it to Regina, this is why Cora can’t love her or anyone. Regina said her mother took it out to protect her. Snow said if they give her her heart . . . what might happen? Cora may change her mind. Regina would have a mother and a grandmother to Henry. Snow said or her mother could become the Dark One. She offered the heart to Regina telling her to make the choice.

Rumple called Belle to say goodbye to her. She was still in the hospital. He told her that she was a hero, she helped her people, and she loved and ugly man. Rumple then seemed to be ready to accept he might die . . . Neil then cried with his father, not wanting to accept it.

In the past, we learned that Cora’s beef with Snow’s mother started when Cora, a miller’s daughter, “insulted” Snow’s mother Ava and was forced to kneel and apologize. Snow’s mom Eva was apparently a huge diva as a kid, and Cora held a grudge. Seriously what is it with this family hating on kids? Eva’s grandfather was no better though, and he seemed to real the main cause of Cora’s vengeance. At a ball Cora snuck into and was caught by the king, so she told him that she could spin straw into gold . . . something the kingdom very much needed at that time. She was locked up with the task of doing so, and if she succeeded she could marry his son! Fail? She would die!

Locked in a tower, Rumple first appeared to Cora to take her as an apprentice and teach her to spin straw into gold, but of corse there was a price! He wanted her first born child, a daughter . . . Cora and Rumple bonded over their poor and humble beginnings, how the upper class insulted them both.

Cora spun her gold and married the Prince! Yes, this would be Henry. Of course on her wedding day the man she loved and wanted was Rumple. Ew! She was also fifth in line to be queen, and that sucked. Why shouldn’t she be happy with Rumple and love? Rumple however said while he could give her love, all he could also give her is darkness and isolation. Rumple then reworked their contract, rather than her owe him some random child . . . she would owe him his child! Yup, it looks like we’ve learned who Regina’s true father is? Cora then also asked to kill the king as part of this new deal. Rumple then showed Cora how to take a heart and crush it.

The king however was no fool and knew about her Rumple. He wanted her to make a choice between his son and the imp, and she did. She couldn’t take his heart, and she chose to marry Henry. She took her own heart out and put it in a box she presented to Rumple! Rumple said she would take her baby, but Cora said that he changed the contract and he only gets his own child . . . any baby she has won’t be his! Well double damn, Regina isn’t his after all? But I swore there was a conversation where Henry alluded that he didn’t know who Regina’s real father was? What the heck is going on here? Who is Regina’s real father?

Back in Storybrooke, the final showdown was going on. Cora went to see a dying Rumple, and said she had to rip her heart out because Rumple was her weakness and the only man she ever really loved. As she went to stab him with the dagger, Regina plunged her mother’s heart back into her. They smiled at one another . . . However Rumple soon became better, and Cora keeled over . . . it seems Snow did the spell with the candle and it worked! Cora died in Regina’s arms as Rumple lived.

Back in the past Cora had her child, Regina. She then presented her to the kingdom as their future Queen. To the present! Regina felt Rumple did this to her, but he said he did nothing. Snow burst in to try and stop Regina, but she was too late. Regina said “You did this!” Oh dear, Regina’s sure gunna be pissed now!

Lord this back and forth blame game is getting to be too much! Rumple has manipulated Cora and Regina from day one and neither is smart enough to see it. Well maybe Cora was, but not Regina. I still don’t think Regina is not Rumples. I know Henry told Cora he had suspicions of another man. But maybe this was supposed to resolve that Regina really was Henry’s? Your thoughts?
