Just killed off of “Heroes,” the carnival psychic Lydia, played by Dawn Oliveiri, is joining “True Blood” as werewolf Janice Herveaux, who is the sister to the main werewolf Alcide next season. She is said to be part of his werewolf biker gang.

As of yet the one role everyone is waiting to see who has been cast in is Alcide’s psycho ex Debbie Pelt. Rumor has it the role has been cast, so why are they not saying who won the spot? It must be someone big!

Lindsay Pulsipher Cast On True Blood

Lindsay/Crystal According to the Hollywood Reporter, Lindsay Pulsipher is the latest to join season three of “True Blood.” She’ll be playing Crystal Norris, some type of hippie-love child that connects with Jason Stackhouse and then dissapears into the forest on him.

At this point, I believe the only major character yet to be cast is Alcide’s ex-girlfriend Debbie Pelt.

Spoilers on Lindsay’s character Crystal after the jump!

In the recent days he’s also revealed a few other casting bits. Natasha Alam has been cast as a possible love interest for Eric, playing a dancer at Fangtasia. James Frain has been cast as Franklin Mott, who becomes a vampire love interest for Tara. Finally J. Smith-Cameron will play Sam’s trashy birth mom.

Other casting news . . . Alfre Woodard will play Lafeyette’s mom. Most will remember her as Mrs. Applewhite on “Housewives” (among the millions of other things she’s done). Kristin Bauer who plays Eric’s side kick Pam has been up’ed to a series regular next year.

For some spoilers (provided by a friend whose read the books, I plan to start after Xmas) make the jump for some answers to some of Season 2’s cliffhangers!

True Blood: Spoilers To Tide Us Over!

True Blood: Spoilers To Tide Us Over!

Posted by Dustin on 09.16.2009 at 8:42 pm

Ausiello at EW posted yet another interview/quote with “True Blood” producer/creator Alan Ball about what could be ahead. Stop now if you don’t want spoilers!

Not having read the books (but planning to hopefully this winter!) Ball may bring in a dark secret of Bill’s next season, that Bill originally returned home to recruit Sookie into working for the Queen! That could really piss Sookie off! (Again not having read the books, don’t know what the fallout was!).

In my previous post on the season finale, I linked to another one of Ausiello’s interviews with Alan Ball. Ball revealed the person who kidnapped Bill was . . . Hoyt’s mama? Not sure if that was a joke or not :)

Finally Dennis O’Hare has been cast as the Vampire King of Mississippi (again via Ausiello :P )
