Bye Bye Betty?
Earlier today I posted this press release from ABC, detailing the new Wednesday and Thursday night comedy blocks.
I was multi-tasking as usual, and missed a very small detail in the release, that in fact is huge. Beginning March 26th, “Ugly Betty” is on hiatus until the other shows run their course, upon which it will return.
The problem of course, there is no telling when that will be! Ausiello has speculated it could be as late as June.
This is when ABC is also supposedly going to air the final episodes of “Dirty Sexy Money” and “Pushing Daisies,” though again we still have no assurance that will happen.
Should ABC pick up some great new summer reality programing, we could kiss “DSM” and the “Daisies” final episodes goodbye until they show up on DVD. As for “Betty?” Would ABC dump it as well?
Sorry if I over looked this answer, but when is the last new betty going to show before the break?

I’m not sure yet. I would assume the week before the 26th, but they have been playing havoc with the schedule, moving it around from when a show was originally supposed to air.
