So after MONTHS “V” returned last night. I’m not sure how I felt about the return though. It wasn’t as exciting as I hoped it would be. Also it was gone so long I had issues remembering names of people.
Father Jack was taking to a healing center after the one Visitor attacked him. I’m pretty sure they did something to him that he’s not aware of. Actually I might not be aware of it as well, I watched it late at night as I was dozing off 🙂
Ryan’s poor pregnant wife has no idea she’s pregnant with a V baby, but she’s having bizarre symptoms like being ravenous. How long before she starts eating raw meat? A friend of Ryan’s warned him if Anna ever found out . . . .
What was up with Erica’s son Tyler being scanned all over? At first I thought they were using him and Anna’s daughter to make a hybrid, but all the medical tests?
Also what was the preying mantis like deal with Anna mating with some drone at the end, then possibly biting his head off?
I’m beginning to think perhaps with all that happened in this episode that the Visitor’s didn’t come this time because they are starving and human’s are their food (as in the original) but because they are having procreation problems. The healing clinics, scanning Tyler, Ryan being warned if Anna found out . . . . Are they searching for people to somehow mate with? Or perhaps host eggs . . . . .

Some official ABC spoilers for Mid-April. “Grey’s” and “Practice” are repeats this week. “Brothers and Sisters” doesn’t appear at the moment it seems, they had a 2 part episode the week before this that was 2 hours long.
Highlights include:
– A star studded guest cast for “Castle” as a talkshow host gets offed.
-The final episode of “Ugly Betty.” CRIES! Are Daniel and Betty fated to be together?
– On “V” the mysterious John May appears in what looks to be a flashback episode before the Visitor’s official arrival. Michael Trucco of “Battlestar Galactica” plays him.
– Two weeks worth of Housewives spoilers! Have we learned who the person who attacked Julie is? Looks like we’ve already met them from the hints!

True Blood: Waiting Sucks!
Posted by Dustin on 03.29.2010 at 12:43 pm
Are you dying waiting for “True Blood” season three to start up this summer? Yeah, Waiting Sucks, which is HBO’s new marketing scheme for the third season. Fortunately they are offering teasers!
Head over to HBO’s True Blood site to watch “In Production” videos and teasers. So far two have been released, one with Eric and one with Sam.
The Eric teaser features Eric being attacked by a waitress wearing a Merlott’s shirt while Eric asks why they are doing this. The Sam teaser features Sam asleep in his truck to be woken by a shotgun in his face and being ordered out of the truck. My guess is the Sam one is actually his younger brother, based on the voice and his story for the season.
Project Runway: I’m Calling It, Seth Aaron Will Win!
Posted by Dustin on 03.27.2010 at 7:30 pm
So I haven’t blogged about it in awhile, but I’ve kept up with “Project Runway.” At this point I’m going to call Seth Aaron as the winner. Funny thing though, he’s the guy I initially pegged as being the nasty villain of the season. That title goes to Mila. I can’t stand her and if she wins it will be like last season with Meena Irena all over! She is a one trick pony, all her stuff looks the same. They gave Anthony the boot for that this week, but have let Miss Black and White Stripes glide through the whole season. I thought her dress this week was the worst of them all honestly. I mean her model couldn’t walk, it was like she just wrapped a piece of fabric around her.
If Seth Aaron doesn’t win, then I hope it goes to Maya who is just as talented. Anyone but Milla! I think these will be the top three of the season though.
90210 and That Place That Begins With An M
Posted by Dustin on 03.26.2010 at 2:26 pm
So I can’t believe it, but I am actually enjoying “90210.” I know, someone slap me! I’m not enjoying all of it, but it is holding my attention.
Dixon’s birthmom’s resurfacing seems to have led Dixon down the gambling path. Uh oh! I’m glad he’s at least not drooling and dwelling over Silver anymore. That storyline was just dumb. I have to admit though I thought through this whole last show that the mom had something to do with Dixon and Annie’s car getting stolen, but she didn’t.
Annie continued to be stalked by Jasper, who was the one who got rid of her car and all the evidence tying her to his uncle’s murder. I am wondering how this whole story will end. I’m beginning to think that Annie may not have killed him, only thought she did? Given how nuts Jasper is, I think he might have finished the job to get to Annie. I could also see a cliffhanger season finale with him kidnapping her.
Silver worried Teddy was cheating on her though, and snooped into his email and personal life, which made him realize he couldn’t trust her like he thought he could. Wow didn’t see that one coming . . . not!
I really liked the story with Gia and Adrianna, with Gia finally coming clean and confessing to Adrianna that she liked her. Oh dear, Adrianna didn’t seem prepared for that one.
I am not still liking the story with Debbie flirting with her yoga instructor, but I guess with the dad/Harry leaving the show after this season they have to set up something for her and explain their marriage tanking (unless they kill him).
As for Melrose Place . . . . . . . . oh sorry, I lost my train of thought there. Honestly at this point just take this drivel off the air. It was a total bore and I don’t find myself invested in any of the couples one bit. I don’t think even Heather Locklear can save this show!

So our time with “Ugly Betty” is fast coming to an end. This is such a shame because this season has really been the best since the first. Ironically since the move to Wednesday and announcement of the cancellation, the ratings are fairly good too.
It’s been awhile since I blogged about the show, but I’ve been watching and loving it . . . okay for the most part. I’m not keen on Willy once again trying to take down Daniel and take over Mode. I thought we’d have a happier ending with them working together, but it’s not going that way. I guess once a villain always a villain! At this point I won’t cry if the show ends with Willy out on her butt. In fact at this point I think that would be a fitting end. Actually I wouldn’t be surprised if she ended up in prison with her lover!
Daniel and Amanda’s F… buddy relationship ended as she chose Daniel’s half-bro Tyler, but even he now has gotten the cold shoulder from Amanda who felt the brothers were too much at each other’s throats. I don’t like that Amanda has been put in this position honestly. I was warming up to her and Daniel. I was however happy when in the end she told Tyler it was off with him untill he cooled down over his issues with Daniel (who in fact gave Amanda his okay to date Tyler).
The show has had some heavy Daniel + Betty hinting going on. Betty got her braces off this week, and of course everyone sees her outer beauty matching the inner. However Gio is on the return for an upcoming episode, so who knows! I really want to see them have the show ending with a Betty and Daniel paring hinting going on, that we know in the future they’ll end up together.
The big shock these past few weeks has been Justin’s story. With Hilda getting married to Bobby, Justin has been exploring his love life as well. He tried the whole straight thing, trying to deny what everyone else in the world knows, but in the end it seems he fell for a boy in his acting class. The shocking part was them showing Justin kiss this other actor. WOAH! I don’t think the show would have ever gone there had they not known they were already canned. That would have been a show breaker otherwise I think. It would have been too controversial because of the ages of the characters/actors and there would be an outcry. Though I think they are now probably adults given how long the show has gone on (didn’t bother to google). Then again the thirty somethings on 90210 are doing it too, but they are lesbians and there is a difference in what we’ll tolerate on air for some reason.
I’m really going to miss this show. I also hope Ignacia gets his happily ever after in the end as well. It’s probably too much to hope for a return of Alexis as well, but maybe they’ll surprise us 🙂
Katherine Heigl Confirms Grey’s Exit
Posted by Dustin on 03.24.2010 at 7:06 pm
Katherine Heigl has confirmed she is off “Grey’s Anatomy.” She’s given an interview in Entertainment Weekly, which should hit stands on Friday. She’s even featured on the cover with the caption “I’m Sorry!” She’s also been making the rounds giving interviews, I just saw her on Extra moments ago. Katherine has chosen to spend time with her newly adopted daughter as well as concentrate on movies.
Her last appearance on “Grey’s” was on January 21st. Expect on off screen explanation to Izzy’s disappearance.

Dancing With The Stars Premier

Well last night “DWTS” got some of it’s biggest ratings ever. Did you tune in? Do you have a favorite yet? Is someone already clearly the winner?
I did watch and look forward to being able to watch this season without “Heroes” interfering. The last few seasons that’s been some big competition. Though I will admit, I ended up turning it off near the end to watch “RuPaul’s Drag Race.” That show is like crack, bitchy snarky crack!
As for my quick thoughts though, I enjoyed it. I at least know most of the contestants this time around. The last few seasons I felt they were really reaching. I am guessing Buzz will go home this week, but he’s such an American hero that the votes might save him. The same with Jake the Bachelor, I think girl will vote to keep him on cause they think he’s all that (even if they hate the woman he chose).
I really liked seeing Shannan, I’ve always loved her as an actress. Neicy Nash was fun as well, love her too. The Pussycat Doll I guess I have my normal issues with, but even more so here. Before they hit it as a music act they were a dance/burlesque act in Vegas. I think that’s a bit unfair!
Desperate Housewives: She’s Just Got To Go!
Posted by Dustin on 03.23.2010 at 7:04 pm
The latest episode of “Desperate Housewives” kinda got on my nerves. I wanted to yell at a lot of people, I wanted to slap some too.
The storyline with Preston and his Russian bride-to-be Irena really annoyed me. Lynette tried to make every power play she could to get Preston to wise up, but nothing work. Not only did he decide to put off school for a year, but he got a job to support them and a pay for an apartment. They’ve also pushed the wedding up to next week, rather than in six months. So far Irena is just sitting at home looking pretty.
What I am not getting here is . . . what is Irena getting out of this? Money? What money! The Scavos aren’t rolling in it. A green card perhaps? I think though if she wanted that she could have easily picked a rich guy, as there are still mail order bride services around. Why settle for Preston really. I’m beginning to wonder if Lynette has assumed she’s up to something, and we are as well, when in fact she’s not? That would be the ultimate shock.
Katherine and Robin got outed at a party to celebrate Karen’s fight against cancer. Katherine was humiliated, she didn’t want people talking about her. Karen told her good luck finding a place to live where there wasn’t Katherine asked Robin to move out, and Robin decided to perhaps go see Paris. Katherine however wanted to go with her!
This story annoyed me to know end. I have loved it so far, but now Katherine is worried people will talk about her. Given her past, I think that would be the one thing she’d actually be used to by now!
The Susan and Gabby story also annoyed me to no end. They got caught up in their kids competition to sell candy bars and win a contest. I feel like we had this story in a similar fashion already. Oh wait, we did with how smart their kids were a few weeks back. Frankly enough of these two using their kids to compete with each other!
Danielle made a return to meet her new brother Sam. Andrew however did not take the news well, and did not like how his mom fawned over a son that wasn’t even her son. Later Sam overheard Andrew and Orson talking about him and how much they really know. Yeah, I’m beginning to think this kid isn’t Rex’s son at all, that he’s just obsessed with Bree. Misery, party of one!
Finally we met Patrick this week, Angie’s ex and Danny/Tyler’s real father. He got info from Angie’s mother’s neighbor, then killed her! Yeah I think the story Angie told Gabby last week that they were environmentalists was not completely true. Eco-Terrorists is more like it! This guy is nuts.
