The premiere of “Castle” is tonight. I can’t wait to see what in the hell happened to Castle. I hope this doesn’t permanently delay the wedding till the end of the season!
SEASON 7 OF “CASTLE” PICKS UP AT THE SCENE OF CASTLE’S CAR CRASH, SEPTEMBER 29 ON ABC
“Driven” – In the Season 6 finale, as Richard Castle drove to his much-anticipated nuptials, an ominous black SUV bore down on him. Meanwhile, after waiting in vain for Castle to arrive at the wedding, Beckett was called to an accident scene to find Castle’s car in a ravine, engulfed in flames. Who or what caused the car crash? Is there any way Castle could have survived? The episode will pick-up at the scene of that accident, right where the finale left off, in a premiere that promises to put Beckett through the toughest case of her career. Season 7 of “Castle” begins on MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 29 (10:01-11:00 p.m., ET/PT) on the ABC Television Network.
Guest Cast: Maya Stojan as Tory Ellis, Ryan Sands as Sgt. Taggert, Jon Lindstrom as Agent Connors, Don Stark as Vincent “The Scar” Cardano, Matt Letscher as Henry Jenkins.
OUAT and Resurrection Premiere Thoughts!
Posted by Dustin on 09.29.2014 at 10:50 am
Sunday Funday, the night of television that seems to have all my favorites on it is back. Actually it never really left, the summer shows like “Witches” and “True Blood” just took over. Anyways, here are my quick thoughts on both shows!
Once Upon A Time
I’m not sure if we really needed so much backstory on “Frozen.” I mean everyone under the sun has seen the movie! I did find it interesting that Anna ended up in the Enchanted Forest, which means she either should be in Storybrooke or with the refugees on the other side. But given the curse reversal and reboot, where is she now? I’m guessing Regina has her in the hospital!
What was with the mysterious new mansion that Rumple and Belle took over and the sorcerer’s hat from “Fantasia?” I swear if Mickey Mouse shows up they will have jumped the shark with a motorcycle on fire!
I loved seeing the magic mirror back, though it’s odd she put him back into the mirror instead of letting him be Sydney again. Regina’s desire to find the book’s writer to give the villains a happy ending is an interesting idea, though it really could bite Regina in the butt. I’m guessing this is how they are bringing Maleficent back for her arc this season.
I’m ready for Marianne to go back to being dead. What a frumpy sourpuss she is. Apparently in Fairytale Land they don’t have divorces. Robin clearly doesn’t want to be with that bore but feels obligated to.
Resurrection
I feel like having Belamy wake up in the field like Jacob did ruined what could have been an amazing twist to the premiere. I knew the minute he woke up there that he was a returned.
I love Jacob’s grandmother returning, but what the hell was with her slapping the crap out of Freddie? Not that he shouldn’t have the crap smacked out of him. He is the Big Jim of Arcadia.
Unfortunately the premiere gave us NO clue as to why these people have returned and why only this town.
Season Finales and Season Premieres! Dallas, Extant, Nashville, Parenthood and Grey’s
Posted by Dustin on 09.28.2014 at 8:03 pm
So I decided to just blast out some quick thoughts on a bunch of shows that aired this week, as I don’t want to fall further behind and the countdown to “OUAT” and “Resurrection” is on!
Dallas
I was really sad to see Annie from “90210” leave the show, but then again she had no future given they blew up Christopher! I was never a huge fan of his, he was a little too much of a goody-goody. However I would gladly have him stick around and would rather have seen Elena blown to pieces. I’m over the Ramos family at this point. If Elena thinks she’s gunna try and pass the baby off as John Ross’s then she better watch out. I think that would really drive Pamela off the deep end, and she and her baby could be in big trouble. Meanwhile can we talk about how amazing Judith Light is on this show? She’s quickly become my favorite, and I love Mother Ryland working with John Ross! I also love Melinda Clarke coming on as Tracy McKay (a recast). I love everything she does, and I think Anne needs a wake up call.
Extant
There is still now word on another season. At least they ended the show not with a total cliffhanger. The alien baby escaped, we still don’t really know what the hell it or its species want. Ethan became the hero by sacrificing himself to save everyone else, yet his artificial intelligence survived to perhaps be put into a new body. My guess is Halle Berry’s star power may get the show a second season.
Nashville
Rayna chose Luke, which was predictable as if she chose Deacon so soon then the show would be somewhat doomed. I actually like Luke to be honest. Juliette’s pregnancy was way too predictable I thought. Who’s the daddy and who will she claim the daddy to be? Been there done that! I look forward to more of a story from Scarlett and Will this season. I guess his wife really didn’t know! I’m really sure why they are bringing the guy from “Dancing With The Stars” in, and I would love to see Charlotte Ross return to be with Deacon for awhile.
Parenthood
Amber’s pregnancy is predictable and expected (see Juliet lol!). Given this is the final and shortened season, I’m not sure what the introduction of Hank’s ex-wife is for. I’m starting to think there will be several unhappy endings when all is said and done, and I worry Sarah could be one of them. I am confused as to Joel and Julia’s status. They are still separated, he’s decided too late he wants her back, but she’s now with someone other than sexy teacher/principal? Where did he go? I fear Zeke’s health problems will lead to an unhappy ending for him, but also what brings Julia and Joel back together. Drew had a minor role in the premiere, which I’m fine with given his boring story usurped too much of last season. Unfortuntely now it seems we are stuck with annoying Hattie as a major character again.
Grey’s
I already miss Cristina, and I hate that Alex has become Meredith’s new person. I am totally on team Bailey when it comes to the seat on the board. Alex was ready to bail on the hospital last season, I don’t feel he and his piss poor actions throughout this series should be rewarded. I’m sad the Chief and Katherine didn’t work out. I’m already so over Meredith’s feud with the sister she doesn’t know, and you could tell by the previews that she’ll somehow take issue with Zola’s adoption. Who knows though, maybe it will bond them. If you are going to cast Geena Davis on your show, give her a bigger role in your season premiere please!

It’s been a Devious two years at Lifetime and the network is set to get even more Devious in 2015. Produced by ABC Studios, Devious Maids will return next year. The announcement was made today by Rob Sharenow, Executive Vice President and General Manager of Lifetime.
“We are thrilled to be bringing Devious Maids back for another season. Marc Cherry has created a uniquely twisted world that blends his comic wit with devilishly ingenious characters and plot twists,” said Sharenow.
Season two of Devious Maids, which concluded July 13th, fueled Lifetime to be the number one cable network in its Sunday 10-11pm time period with Total Females, Women 18+, Women 25-54 and Women 18-49. In its freshman season, the series was Lifetime’s fastest-growing drama ever.

Under The Dome’s WTF Season Two Finale!
Posted by Dustin on 09.23.2014 at 7:36 pm
Holy crap! What was with that finale for “Under The Dome” last night? We sure as hell better get a season 3, or at least a 2-part 2-hour movie to close this show out after that. Let’s discuss!
So Big Jim finally, after all this time, just lost it. Thanks to Lyle going nuts and stabbing Pauline, he was sent overboard. He killed Lyle. That I was okay with, Lyle should have died long ago. Long story short, Pauline was pretty much a goner and they had just discovered a time sensitive way out of the dome. Jim was doing everything he could to save her, even though her brother Sam said she likely wouldn’t make it. Pauline begged Rebecca to overdose her as she knew she was going to die, the dome showed her. Rebecca did, which was the end for her. Jim went insane and killed Rebecca. Man, I had just started to like her too! Then he went and killed Hoyt’s Mama from “True Blood” and tried to kill Julia. He was on a mission to make the dome pay, or give him back Pauline.
Meanwhile under the old egg crater the kids found a passage way, another cavern, and butterflies returned to apparently show them the way. Pauline, before she died, said the dome chose Julia and another man to save this town, though she didn’t see his face. Julia was sure this man was Barbie. I was immediately skeptical because that seemed too easy. However Barbie led the whole town down there, which by the way suddenly seemed like a lot less people than before. Did 3/4 of the town die in the cold frost? Julia and Jr. got trapped behind by an earthquake and a chasm. Barbie swore he’d return for her. Big Jim was shot by Jr, but it wasn’t a fatal wound, so he still on the side with them and crazed.
Barbie led everyone to a dead end, but led by a butterfly his hand print opened a secret passage. So perhaps he is who the dome spoke of? I’m not convinced yet. The rock wall opened to a blue light where Melanie reappeared, after she had disappeared into the crater a few episodes ago. She said “I am going to lead us home.”
Riiiiggghhhhtttt! Why do I have the feeling Melanie is not taking them to their home, but the dome’s home? Or the creators of the dome’s home. They are going to end up someplace even worse I’m sure. Meanwhile Jr and Julia are stuck in the ever-collapsing dome with Big Jim. I have to say at this point there is no way they can try and redeem his character again. So I guess Rebecca’s death was not in vein. Hopefully we will see the end of Big Jim finally.
Tell me your thoughts! Where does the blue light lead?
Sleepy Hollow Season 2 Premiere September 22nd!
Posted by Dustin on 09.21.2014 at 8:23 pm
I can’t believe premiere weeks are finally here. Fox and CBS are first out of the gate this week, with ABC also premiering some of their new and returning shows too. NBC has “The Voice” starting.
I HATE adding new shows to the blog, mainly as they always end up canceled. I am looking forward to “Gotham” on Fox though, and “Forever” on ABC, both which premiere Monday night.
However “Sleepy Hollow” is also back, and the spoilers for the Season 2 Premiere are below!
WAR HAS BEEN HERE ALL ALONG… ON THE SEASON TWO PREMIERE OF “SLEEPY HOLLOW” MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 22, ON FOX
Picking up immediately after the spellbinding events of the Season One finale, Ichabod finds himself buried alive in a coffin; Abbie is trapped in purgatory; Ichabod’s wife, Katrina, has been kidnapped by the Headless Horseman; Capt. Frank Irving is behind bars for a murder he did not commit; and Abbie’s sister, Jenny, is among the wreckage of a horrific car crash. These events were due, in large part, to the shocking revelation that Henry Parish, the trusted friend of Ichabod and Abbie, is actually Ichabod and Katrina’s son and the Second Horseman of the Apocalypse. Now, with Henry’s emergence as the Horseman of War, alongside the Headless Horseman, Sleepy Hollow has never been so close to destruction in the all-new “This Is War” Season Premiere episode of SLEEPY HOLLOW airing Monday, Sept. 22 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (SLH-201) (TV-14 L, V)
ICHABOD AND ABBIE TRY TO GET A “HEAD” OF THE COMPETITION ON AN ALL-NEW “SLEEPY HOLLOW” MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 29, ON FOX
Ichabod Crane and Lt. Abbie Mills concoct a daring plan to try to rescue Ichabod’s wife, Katrina, from the Headless Horseman by resurrecting a Frankenstein-like monster created by Benjamin Franklin. Meanwhile, Frank Irving faces new trouble after revealing the true details of his encounter with a demon, and Jenny Mills finds herself at odds with the new sheriff in town in the all-new “The Kindred” episode of SLEEPY HOLLOW airing Monday, Sept. 29 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (SLH-202) (TV-14; L, V)
