Where to begin? There was just so much going on! I know I’m going to leave stuff out.
The day the interns had to take their big exams was the same day of Meredith’s step-mom’s funeral Unfortunately her dad showed up and laid into Meredith, blaming her for his wife’s death and saying he didn’t want her at the funeral and he never wanted to see her again. Wow, something new from her dad! Basically he’s cut her out of his life TWICE now.This was SO heartbreaking. Does Meredith’s sister know who is is yet? I think I may have missed that episode.
As a result of her dad’s outburst, Meredith went and failed the intern test. George however wouldn’t give up on her, he got the Chief to let Meredith take her exam over
Meanwhile Alex was also preoccupied, but got through his exam. It seems Jane Doe has remembered! She was an unhappy pregnant wife with a boring husband, she ran away from him . . . or so she says. WHY am I feeling there could be a whole lot more to this story then she’s letting on?
Adelle returned to the hospital with a shocker . . . she’s pregnant! However we never got an answer as to whether or not it was the Chief’s baby. She refused to stay in the hospital as Addison suggested, and later collapsed to be found by the Chief. Nooooooo not Adelle! They can’t kill her off. With Adelle back in the picture, I have to wonder if the Chief will retire now?
Speaking of the Chief retiring, everyone was on edge as to who will be named. Meanwhile Bailey learned she had competition from Callie for the chief resident position. Bailey better get it!
Callie remained a bit suspicious of Izzie and George, but George decided he was going to transfer to another hospital. Dr. Bailey gave him hell for it too, because it was career suicide. Love her! Izzie basically pulled a McSteamy in order to try and get George to stay, by saying she didn’t really love him and it was just sex. However as Christina was trying to write her vows, Izzie unloaded the truth . . . as Callie listened in! Callie looked PISSED as she knew Izzie wasn’t talking about Denny. Cat fight next episode?
Poor Addison was being stalked by pregnant women in this episode, as she put it. The bartender and his partner brought a woman in for a checkup, they were going to adopt the baby. Turns out she’s having two babies, twins! She was trying to decide between two couples and then passed out in the bar.
At Burke’s bachelor party, McDreamy got hit on by the girl the internet is referring to as “bar slut.” Worse yet, he’s throwing it in Meredith’s face in the previews! Uhg, why is he doing this? Where is McVet when we need him!
Finally one of the most interesting stories of the night, four claimers trapped on Mt. Ranere were brought in . . . well three of them were. They claimed their fourth friend died, but later George and Izzie overheard them talking . . . it seemed like they left him up there to die, or sacrificed him to save themselves. When the fourth one was rescued and brought in . . . he had a pick axe in his head! As Bailey said “What in the hell happened up there?”
They Absolutly can NOT allow the chief resident go to any one but Bailey!!!!!

Does anyone else wonder if the girl in the bar just might turn out to be Merideth’s sister?!!
After she is a young doctor too and with all the cast changes going on they will need some fresh new docs taking the floor…..
I still love the show but seriously want to hit McDreamy on the head. His girlfriend loses her mother, her stepmother who was finally starting to connect with her in a way she always wished her real mother had and bonus getting her dad and now all that and Derek seems a bit self centered to me. What about being there in the good and bad stuff and not just the icing on the cake parts.
Lol the previews for next week with Christina’s missing eyebrows can’t wait to see that!

Tonight was incredible so much better then that of last weeks two hour episode. I especially loved Izzie spilling her guts about George in front of Calllie. Talk about priceless! It was a great show and I am so excited about next week. Sad though its the finale til next season. Don’t know what I’m gonna do on Thursday nights now but at least I got next week. Anywho, great review Dustin!

Excellent episode – though, I must say, I’m not liking where they are steering Derrick-
love Christina & Burke together – looking so forward to the wedding! Wish Izzie would get over G – not seeing that one – give Callie a chance – didn’t care for her at first, but he did marry her….Alex & Jane Doe? if Addison is leaving for her spin-off, and he doesn’t get back with Izzie, maybe Jane Doe….

Last night’s epi pissed me off–
1. derrick is being a jerk… i don’t like where they are taking his character.
2. poor meredith… she’s been poo’d on all season!
3. izzie needs to realize whikle she may have feelings for george and he may have them for her… he still married callie.. i like callie and think that it’s not fair that izzie realizers she loves george when it’s too late.
4. alex needs to get over jane doe and find a single female
5. poor cheif! i wonder what’s gonna happen with adele next week.
6. thatcher needs to get a life and step up for fatherhood to ALL of his kids… it’s not meredith’s fault that her step mom died…
and lastly
7. i think bar slut is mere’s sister. she spoke like meredith and that would just figure… ya know

When I saw bar slut I thought that it might be Meredith’s sister too. I am going to rewatch it and see if she is the girl with Thatcher in the hospital. I’m also missed the whole scene at the end between the chief and Adelle and the one with Izzie and Callie b/c of an Amber Alert. What happened???

It’s not the same sister, Molly, who’s been in to the hospital before for her baby and was shown earlier in the episode. But it could be the other 1/2 sister, Lexi(e?) that they always talk about who is supposed to be just starting her residency. They never said where, could be at Seattle Grace…with that said, STUPID STUPID STUPID story! I get that perfect happy couples don’t make good TV and they need a little drama, but don’t make the characters hook up with people you just can’t see them ever being forgiven for (ie…Derek with Mer’s sister, Mer with McSteamy)

um Adelle collapsed and started bleeding majorly.. that’s all we know on that.. not even a hint in next week’s previews. izzie i think told george to stay because she didn’t have feelings,. then went to a supply closet and cried. but next week’s epi shows her telling him her feelings woo hoo!

Dont get me wrong i am a big Izzie fan…but she needs to get over George fast…she hasnt been a great friend to him…HE IS MARRIED!!!…she may not like it but that is just too bad….if izzie and george were married and callie was doing the things that izzie is doing we would hate Callie….

Personally, I’m getting tired of seeing Izzie cry all the time. I don’t know how she can be a good doctor, when every time she opens her mouth it is a “woe is me” story. I hope George stays with Callie, at least she has a backbone, which George could use a little bit of!
I’d like to see more of Burke and Christina. They seem to spend the least amount of time deeling sorry for themselves! But I’ve got to say that I find Addison’s attitude to her hardships refreshing, since she ads a little light hearted humour to her situations.

Did anyone else notice that the girl that McDreamy was talking to at the bar was Merdith’s sister? Not the one that just had the baby but the one going through med school. She was with her dad when he came in yelling and she was in black and said that she had a really hard day and deserved to be forward!
