Ugly Betty Season Finale: OMG!
I’ll replace this with a more robust write up as soon as I can. I’m going to re-watch the finale as SO much was going on. I wanted to get some initial thoughts out and leave you all the chance to comment on this OMG finale!
First up, through the whole show I started getting the very bad feeling the “death” would be Santos. It was like, oh no, he’s going to pick up something, he’s going to get held up. Sure enough, it looks like they killed off Santos! Why why why! I can’t believe they did this! I felt so bad for Hilda and poor Justin doesn’t even know.
Alexis and Daniel finally had a real bonding moment as Daniel the drug addict broke down in her office, and then faced an overdose and death. As she rushed him to the hospital, she took her dad’s car, only to learn the guy she hired to off her dad had cut the brakes on his car. Classic! They two have been smashed up in a car crash, though I don’t see them being killed off.
Wilhelmina got engaged to Bradford, but their wedding is postponed till the fall (of course cause if it was in July we couldn’t see it!)
Claire and her cellmate launched an escape plan and headed out during a prisoner transfer. I’m not sure where this one is going. Actually I am, we won’t see Claire again until she crashes the wedding!
Amanda and Christina got locked in the secret room, found Faye’s safe and Amanda learned she was really Faye’s daughter! I did not see this one coming in a million years. This was a good twist. I wonder what the implications of it will be though?
Henry seems to be heading out on a plane with Charlie, the dentist screwing cheating ho-bag! Nooooooooooo.
They didn’t address the whole revenge plot on Ignacio at all, which I thought was kind of odd (unless I missed this part).
It’s going to be a very, very long Summer folks. That was one heck of a season finale though!
I loved this season finale!!! It was filled with excitement as to what will happen next season. I did think killing Santos was horrible, but Ignacio said to Hildi in a previous episode that she has to stand on her two feet, this will show how strong she is in taking care of the family.

Gah! Just when I was starting to think the show was dropping off… they give us a daaaaaaayum good episode with the season finale! That was soo awesome.
Poor Hilda, poor Santos!!! That was sad. I feel like someone else could have died instead of Santos.

well.. what it means to Amanda is she is a Meade. she slept w/ her 1/2 brother and …ick. How Passions! 😉

I think teckboy was referring to Fey & Bradford’s affair… If it was going on for 20+ years… and Bradford was her dad, then eeeeew

I enjoyed the finale. I am hoping that even though it looked like Betty was telling Hilda that Santos got killed, maybe he’s just in the hospital? I was really surprised about Amanda’s mother being Faye. I am hoping with this car crash that the stupid friction between Daniel and Alexis diminishes!

i knew santos was gone, he was on that show DRIVE! Betty was pretty good, but I wonder how long the show is going to go on with her looking like that, she is such a pretty lady!

I am really, really, really hoping that the writers have time to decide to only have Santos be in a coma or something and not dead. I mean, we don’t ACTUALLY KNOW he is dead?!?! America Ferra (Betty) just had her smile insured for 10 million dollars. She is a very beautiful girl. I think they will keep her the same just because that is the theme of the show. I couldn’t remember if Amanda and Daniel had slept together. Someone said they did…can’t believe the show went in that direction. Great finale!!!!!!!!

I totally think Amanda will end up a Meade (Bradford’s daughter by Faye). And that is quite disgusting…
I love that Amanda and Cristina were locked in the closet together. These are the best two characters on the show!!!

Ugly Betty’s season finale was the best finale i’ve seen in a long time! Great surprises, twists, and so sad. I can’t wait for it to return in the fall!

omg!! i loved the show!! i cannot believe that amanda is fey’s daughter!! and she was soooo,, yeah fey was a family friend! i can’t wait to see how that pans out next season… side note:: she can’t be bradford’s kid too hopefully… no more incest! i want to know more about cristina’s hubby
betty and henry!! charlie is a whore! just thought i’d add another charlie=whore comment!! lol

That was seriously the BEST season finale I have seen so far! I was very impressed! I thought that they would have Amanda end up being Bradford and Faye’s love child…but then I remembered that her and Daniel had a thing and that would just be gross.
