2 Hour Greys: Is It Good Enough For A Spinoff?
Posted by Dustin on 05.03.2007 at 10:44 pm
First up, the full write-up of “Ugly Betty” and “Grey’s” will come later. I need to re-watch both, hectic night. I did want to open this topic up though. What did you think of sunny California? Was the cast and stories good enough for a spin-off? Would you watch it?
I have to say I enjoyed it. Addison and Tim Daly’s character were hoooooot together, but this is really the last thing Addison needs. She needs to cool it with the men, then again that doesn’t really make for good TV drama. The other characters I really liked, loved Tilly! I can see Tilly being like the shows “Charlie,” never seen but always heard. The one character I just thought didn’t work was the little kid who wanted to pull the Mrs Robinson with Addison’s friend (Grace?). This is why I need to re-watch, I didn’t learn the new character’s names! (I need to watch while not in front of my PC). I’d watch it if it goes to series, but I’d watch anything with Amy Brenneman 🙂
Desperate Housewives: No More Babies For Marcia . . . .
Posted by Dustin on 05.03.2007 at 8:54 pm
The SFGate is reporting “Desperate Housewives” star Marcia Cross (Bree) promised the show no more babies, which left her out of much of this season. Bree returns for the season finale of the show. I have to say Bree’s absence has been felt. She’s one of my favorites and Marcia Cross was the reason I first turned into the show. Gotta love crazy Dr. Kimberly (Melrose Place).
Medium: Off With Their Heads!
Posted by Dustin on 05.03.2007 at 8:53 pm
So this week’s “Medium” was so good! Where to start? First off, I’m doing this the day after the show, so I’ve totally forgot the character’s names that are guest starring 🙂
So from the start we knew Jason’s character was set up for cutting his wife’s head off, but why did Alison take all night to realize it? We saw from the get go, her first dream, that he didn’t do it! Later she said that the victim has sent her dreams thinking her husband had done it, when he didn’t do it.
Jason was convicted, but later they found his wife’s missing head on top of someone else’s decapitated body. GROSS! Probably one of the creepiest scenes ever on “Medium.” Alison later had a dream that her new friend would be the next victim. Obviously Jason will be released as he’s innocent . . . or is he? Why do I feel he still may be involved, like paid someone to do this?
Alison also made a new friend in Neve Campbell’s character this week. I knew from the beginning she was going to turn on Alison. Next week the previews show she’s a reporter who snitches about Alison’s powers and gets her into trouble. Real nice given Alison tries to warn her she’ll be killed.
Finally something is going on between Joe and the woman from work. She had her baby and has been text messaging Joe like crazy. Are they just bonded over the tragedy that happen? Could it be leading to more? Alison finally caught on near the end of the episode and was furious with Joe. Rightly so! Joe also has been skipping therapy and now some lawyer wants to help him sue his company. I really hope they won’t make Joe cheat on Alison. First Lynette on “DH” now Joe? What’s the world coming to!
Ugly Betty To Get Musical Show

World Entertainment News is reporting that “Ugly Betty” could get an all dancing all singing show! It’s supposedly in the works, probably for next season. The season finale does star Broadway star Kristin Chenoweth as Betty’s orthodontic technician who gets way too involved in her life.
This Weeks Dose Of Reality TV
Posted by Dustin on 05.02.2007 at 11:45 pm
First up, John went home on “Dancing With The Stars.” Next up will be Billy Ray, followed by Ian. Once they get down to Joey, Leila and Apollo, wow that will really be hard! Joey I feel has been solid all season, the other two have their hot weeks and their okay weeks. I still think it will come down to Joey or Leila.
On “American Idol” Phil Stacey and Chris Richardson went home. Not really that shocking, they only recently stepped up their game. I was just so glad Jordan was safe. She has really grown on me these past few weeks, though her Bon Jovi song was terrrrrrrible!
Over to Bravo. On “Workout” the cast finally found out about Doug, next week they say goodbye to him. I have to admit, aside from the issues with Doug lately, “Workout” has been boring me. Without the drama of Jackie and Mimi, or Jackie and Rebbecca, well it’s been boring!
Finally to “Shear Genius,” Bravo’s reality hair-cut program. Tyson is getting on my nerves, he’s full of himself and getting way to big of an ego. In the end that clipper girl went home. I was shocked Ben did such an awful cut, he’s normally pretty good. Dr. Boogie’s mullet thing in the beginning was also terrible!
Oh one more thing, speaking of Bravo reality . . . this summer “Kathy Griffin’s Life On The D List” starts on June 5th and then the wacky show of the year probably, Paula Abdul’s reality show on Bravo! That should be a train wreck waiting to happen (this from someone who loves Paula).
Some Ugly, Heroes and Housewives Season Finale Spoilers

Spoilers after the fold . . . .
So a story was posted over at Yahoo News that there would be a shocking season finale on “Ugly Betty.” Something would happen between Betty and Henry and then something shocking with Christina. Kristen has also stated someone in the season finale may die!
Mediaweek.com posted some other juicy spoilers. On “Housewives” Mike and Susan will marry, which was hinted at but not outright said in the ABC press release. And on “Heroes” the season finale will bring back Simone’s character, alive and with powers (I smell Linderman’s doing!) Mediaweek has tons of other spoilers for other shows like “Lost” and “24” so check them out.
