Big Brother Eviction Day/New HOH (Updated with Results!)

Big Brother Eviction Day/New HOH (Updated with Results!)

Posted by Dustin on 07.26.2007 at 1:05 pm

So tonight is the night on BB. Either Kail or Mike will go home, and a new HOH will be crowned. Any guesses? I’m actually having a hard time deciding who will go home, but I think it will probably end up being Kail. However if the house ends up seeing Mike as the stronger player, they could send him home.

As for the new HOH? I hate to say it, but I think Amber jinxed it last night. During one of her rants about ED, she said Jen was a way cooler HOH than ED was. I think Jen will somehow end up with HOH again.

*Update* So Mike did in fact go home! And in a shocker, Dustin is the new HOH!

Hell’s Kitchen: Farewell Julia!

Hell’s Kitchen: Farewell Julia!

Posted by Dustin on 07.23.2007 at 10:31 pm

So I missed last week’s “Hell’s Kitchen” were Brad was sent home. This week Josh was kicked out half way through the show! Rock’s anger management issues, which I commented on before, flared up again this week. He was a mess in the kitchen and was not happy. He has the talent to win, but again, that anger is going to be his downfall I think. In the end Chef Ramsey sent Julia the short order cook home. I was sad to see her go, but glad she made it so far. I was also so happy that Chef Ramsey said he would send her to culinary school because he believed in her.

Drama In The Big Brother House!

Drama In The Big Brother House!

Posted by Dustin on 07.23.2007 at 12:55 pm

Well I guess the title of the post is an oxymoron. Anyways, big drama last night. First up a summary. Evil Dick put up Kail and Jen for nomination, but Jen has won the Power of Veto. She will so save herself. Who will he put up in her place? Good question! I think it’s going to be either Zack or Nick at this point, and here is why.

Nick, so he said, went to the HOH room to be alone and listen to music. Jen and Zack then came in, he asked them to leave. As they were leaving, Dick saw them. He went in and found Nick in there and blew up at him, telling him to get out and not to come back to his HOH room. Nick and Dick then had a public fight. Danielle then came to fight with her dad in the HOH room. Dick felt that for all he knew, Nick, Zack and Jen were in an alliance and plotting in his HOH room. Danielle and Dick argued, almost bringing up the reason they stopped talking years ago. Danielle however wouldn’t go there and walked out. He told Danielle he loved her and wanted their relationship to work, but she treats him like Shhhhh, talks to him like Shhhhh and everyone in the house sees and knows it.

Dick was angry and slammed dishes down, which upset fragile little Amber. She thought he was angry at her and started crying. They had a long talk, in which Dick assured her he loved her and trusted her, it was the situation he was angry at. Amber then went and talked smack about Dick to Danielle! They both talked about his anger management issues. Danielle hinted that she and her brother always lived in fear of their dad.

Dustin meanwhile had made the comment to Dick that Jamicka was having some issues today with it being her birthday. Dick publicly announced this, which upset Dustin. Now Dustin and Dick have issues! They seemed to hash it out, but basically Dick is in a bad way with almost the whole house as of last night.

Dana Davis joins “Heroes” next season as Monica, her powers are not yet known though. She has an impressive body of work, including staring as Felicia Jones in “The Nine,” Michelle in “Hidden Palms,” and Madison in “The O.C.,” among other projects on television and film.

Big Brother Eviction

Big Brother Eviction

So tonight it was no shock at all, Joe got evicted on “Big Brother 8.” He was sent packing by a vote of 9-1, ouch! Evil Dick HAS to know Kail was the only one who voted for him, and she has to know all her alliance members sold her out! I think Evil Dick, who won the HOH, will put her and Jen up on the block next. Should be interesting, time to check the feeds!

Private Practice Press Release

Private Practice Press Release

Posted by Dustin on 07.19.2007 at 12:51 pm

PRODUCTION BEGINS IN LOS ANGELES ON NEW ABC DRAMA SERIES “PRIVATE PRACTICE,” FROM SHONDA RHIMES, CREATOR OF “GREY’S ANATOMY”

Production has begun in Los Angeles on “Private Practice,” a new drama from the creator of “Grey’s Anatomy,” Shonda Rhimes, featuring an all-star cast that includes Kate Walsh, Tim Daly, Taye Diggs, Amy Brenneman and Audra McDonald. The series will air Wednesdays (9:00-10:00 p.m., ET) this fall on the ABC Television Network.

From Shonda Rhimes, the Golden Globe-winning creator of “Grey’s Anatomy,” comes a story about finding a way to begin the rest of your life. Addison Forbes Montgomery is a renowned surgeon. Having left behind Seattle Grace Hospital, a broken marriage with Derek “McDreamy” Shepherd and her torn relationship with Mark “McSteamy” Sloan, Addison moves to Los Angeles for sunnier weather and happier possibilities.

Addison reunites with her friends from medical school, Naomi and Sam Bennett, joining them at their chic, co-op, Oceanside Wellness Center in Santa Monica. Naomi, a fertility and hormone specialist and majority owner of the clinic, and Sam, an internist whose self-help books have made him the “common man’s medical guru,” are newly divorced. They co-exist for the sake of their teenaged daughter, Maya, and their medical practice, but the relationship is hardly amicable.
