Big Brother: The Evicted And New HOH
So by 3-1, wAmber was evicted. Waaaaaaa! Not!
As for the new HOH, it’s another all nighter competition as they have to fill a huge bowl with tea only using a little tea cup. To make matters worse, the path between the tea source and bowl is slippery! It will not be revealed until late tonight who the new HOH is.
Also, next week is a double eviction, but they won’t know until then!
*update* Zack is HOH! This doesn’t look good for Dick and Danielle!
Thanks Palmtreegrlz! It’s kind of lame…just say it already!

I think the codes have been around since at least the days of pagers…before text messaging…when you could only send a number or something like that. My boyfriend used to send me a 143 page every night before bed (go ahead…gag…I used to as well).
The original, plain old Veto was introduced in Season 3 – but the winner could NOT save themselves if they were nominated. They would just have a few special Golden or Diamond Vetos at the end of the season when they could save themselves. It was during Season 4 that they changed the rules so that they could save themselves as well. I believe the person who won the veto has always been safe from nomination if a replacement was needed. They usually call the last one the diamond power of veto because the winner of it is the only person (other than the HoH) who is 100% safe from eviction (it’s the one when there are only 4 left).

I was wondering if anyone agrees that Janelle acting like she didn’t like Eric was fair. She told Dani that she loved her and her bandana. I don’t know what all was said but Dani n Dick were talking about her not liking Eric and were wondering y she didn’t like him. I fell like that interferes with the game.

I read something written by Janelle in reaction to comments that have been made since last nights POV.
I guess they had Janelle hidden behind a screen and were showing the HGs footage of all her POV wins. Eric made a comment about her being a cross between Ms. Piggy and something else, which she heard (and his comments were talked about just a little while ago with Dick asking him if he regretted saying it). From her point of view, she tried to be supportive of each HG while they were completing the POV challenge (the morphomatic thing) by cheering them on, including Eric, but unlike all the other HGs, Eric didn’t speak to her when he had the chance. She was able to make small talk with the rest between takes of things, but she said Eric didn’t say a word to her.
Personally, I don’t like the idea of bringing anyone into the house to host things. I mean, last year it was really funny when Neil Patrick Harris came in since Will was obsessed with him, but Janelle has some strong feelings about people in the house (she admits to sending banners)… she wouldn’t be my first choice as a host.

I just saw that post on jokers the last thing I had saw were D&D questioning it. YEa if she had done banners the show shouldn’t have got her to do the POV.

Good points. Cant wait to see that air. Love janelle. These blondes are *no* janelle! lol Eric is mean. He’s a little guy and something tells me that he is rude about women’s weight! he’s like kermit in some ways with his pointy nose and scrawny self 🙂 hehehe
Thanks for the insight and updates ladies!

From what I have seen in the past couple of days Jess is likely going home. Dick is trying to cut a deal with Jam… Jess is really showing her other side complaining and laying around in bed while Erica waits on her hand and foot. He brought her food in bed and she made the comment that he should be the one up not her. We finally get to see the other side to perky sweet Jess since this is the first time she is being threatened. The next 5 days should be interesting!
09.02.2007 at 2:11 pm
I would not mind seeing Jessica go home. I really hope Jameka stays this week. Did Dani use the veto? Has it been shown yet?
09.02.2007 at 2:59 pm
i was hoping jess would survive, only to kinda come out from the pack and possibly win. she is the only one that i can half way stand from the group. Sad sad that jameeks stays. so over her.
09.02.2007 at 3:22 pm
Veto ceremony isn’t until tomorrow.
YG – I agree with you 100% I want Jess to stay as well.
I’m wondering how long it’s going to take everyone to figure out that Dick pretty much has a deal with almost everyone in the house. Wouldn’t it be funny if Zach convinced Dani to use the POV and he would put up Eric, only to turn around and put up Dick instead.
09.02.2007 at 3:39 pm
Zach doesn’t have enough guts to make a move like that. I wish he did though. E & J have honored their alliance with D&D. I hope D&D get broken up next week. I hope somehow J&E send 1 of them a packn.
09.02.2007 at 3:54 pm
that is precisely why i would NOT use the veto….i don’t trust zach, even tho he probably wouldn’t do it since his chances are MUCHO better with either of the donatos, i still wouldnt put it past him, ya know?

just saw this at jokers and i was wondering WHEN they would be doing this..this explanation is flimsey…anyone know anything better??? this was posted there
An explanation for lack of jury house footage…
Although Amber is now off to the show’s sequester location, Big Brother viewers shouldn’t expect to see much footage of her new jury house adventures. Unlike previous Big Brother seasons, CBS doesn’t plans to broadcast regular weekly footage of each evicted houseguest’s jury house arrival.
“[The producers only] anticipate [broadcasting] one jury house package before the end of the season,” a CBS spokesperson told Reality TV World on Friday.

It would make for kinda a interesting episode if they just did a whole show on the jury house one night towards the end. Maybe a special episode on a time or night extra from the show.
09.02.2007 at 6:09 pm
I doubt they will do anything more than 10 minutes of jury house footage…maybe showing a series of clips showing the reaction each week when the new evictee arrives.

sux! i enjoyed watching them watch the tapes…maybe they aren’t letting them watch tapes again this year? oh well!!!!!
09.02.2007 at 11:15 pm
I think if they watched tapes they would learn about Eric being America’s Player, so maybe that’s why they aren’t watching tapes this year, because in previous years the twist was up before sequester?
09.03.2007 at 12:04 am
I don’t think they’ve let them watch the tapes (at least before voting) since the Ex-Factor season.
09.03.2007 at 12:23 am
They did last season I thought? I only started watching recently!!!
09.03.2007 at 12:38 am
I think about all the HGs are allowed to see in the house is things like HoH, PoV and the like…. . very highly edited ones
09.03.2007 at 3:33 am
Ya, they’ve shown them highlights of stuff that they’ll find out anyways when other people are evicted, like the results of the contests, but they DON’T show them the full episodes with DR stuff, private conversations, and all that.
I’m pretty sure Season 4 was the last time that they showed the jury members the actual epsiode footage – they did this BEFORE the Jury Q&A and voting. After that, I think they decided to stick with letting them base their vote on what they experienced, not what they didn’t see.
Also, showing them the tapes prior to voting pretty much defeats the purpose of a Jury house. Seasons 2 and 3 didn’t have sequester – so each evictee could go home and watch the entire show and feeds if they wanted to.
09.03.2007 at 7:55 am
Hmm….I didn’t watch 1-4 though (I don’t think…i get the numbers confused, but I’ve only avidly watched for like three years i think). So not sure what i’m remembering! It wasn’t much they showed, but them showing up with a tape of a few highlighted events. Was it season Six where the short blonde won? I remember them having strong impressions to each other’s tapes in that season.
I remember seeing DR will coming up to the house and ppl having a strong reaction…and when others arrived. I totally miss that and have been waiting or it this season. Sux that they are making us wait for what will inevitably be a tiny pkg with the reactions. That was fun for me. OH WELL.
09.03.2007 at 10:35 am
Sadly the producers are constantly changing the rules.
I know at one point that they were able to see everything up to the moment they left the house in tapes and the like that we had been shown as the viewing public.
Then the rules changed and they were only allowed to see what we saw, but not the diary room stuffs…
then they were not allowed to see anything.
Part of the problem is they want them competing and voting in the end on their experiences, but the only true way to do that is complete isolation cause you put two HGs in the house and they will start comparing notes.
09.03.2007 at 1:36 pm
It would have been assinine to let them see so much!!! I thought it was more just about this is kinda what happened while you were gone, who got HOH, etc. I don’t see the purpose of it REALLY other than to get some good quotes and expressions from them for airing. It is enjoyable when they think “their side” is winning or something…just interesting tv for sure. There is no way to keep it 100% untainted unless they did do individual isolation. PEOPLE would go nuts…esp the ones who were isolated longer! And its impossible to keep people from discussing certain things as we’ve seen on the show thus far! They talk about everything, even what they supposedly are not supposed to talk about!
09.03.2007 at 2:41 pm
It may be impossible to keep them from discussing, but then one thing they never have access to is their DR stuff. And since BB doesn’t let them talk about those while their in the house, they’re kept pretty secret. Danielle – in Season 3 – came in 2nd because of what she was saying in her DRs. That seems to be where their truer selves come out…and for some it’s good for that not to be known prior to voting.
