Kenneth Cole himself will be guest starring on an episode of “Ugly Betty” for the upcoming season. The episode should air in October and involves Cole being the guest of honor at a black and white ball hosted by the Meade family.
Also guest starring on at least two upcoming shows will be Rick Fox, Vanessa William’s ex-husband. He’ll be playing a body guard for Wilamena. What has happened that Willy needs a body guard?
This Friday, August 10th on Sci-Fi is “Flash Gordon.” I’m going to be covering this, and hoping it doesn’t turn out to be a dud like a few other cable shows this summer *cough “Meadowlands”* *cough “John in Cincinnati”*.
Next Monday, the 13th, Season 3 of “Weeds” starts!
Desperate Housewives: Spoilerish Tidbit For The New Season!

So at the end of last season it seemed Edie’s character was left for dead. Well we’ve all since found out she will be back, nobody knows yet what will happen and how she’ll be saved though.
Word from an “inside source” though does claim one of the other 4 housewives will be killed off in the next season and is leaving the show! Who will it be? There was a rumor in a tabloid months ago that the show was planning to kill of Marcia Cross (Bree). Will it be her? Or maybe newly married Eva Longoria (Gabby). Of course it could just as easily be Lynette or Susan, but somehow I doubt it will be them.
Of course this could all be hogwash to drum up hype for the show too!
So I FINALLY go caught up and finished the 5th season of “Footballers Wive$.” Here is the quick recap and my thoughts.
Lucy ended up having a little slumber party with her ex Bruno, who was promoted to team manager for Sparks after Roger was blinded. Lucy wound up pregnant, but didn’t know if she wanted to keep the baby. Bruno did, and after a scare and almost losing the baby, Lucy decided she wanted it to. Only there is a tiny problem . . . . she doesn’t know who the dad is!
She asked the doctor if he could tell if her baby was black! He of course told her not till it was born. Seems like Lucy and Tremaine finally hooked up, which I knew was coming. This is a Jerry Springer moment for sure!
Shannan and Callum found out that Callum’s mum Trish was faking her cancer, when it was revealed in the papers! This seemed to be the beginning of the end for them, as Callum started hitting on other women such as Tanya. He also got a bit nasty with Shannan for criticizing him, and the dope took it!
Meanwhile Liberty had her own problems. She was forced to take some job in Japan where they had her dressed like a cannibal and cooking up white people. This caused a scandal, and Tremaine had finally had it with her.
During a birthday party for Callum, organized by Shannan, Callum was seen getting way to friendly with a stripper at the party. Why she had his party at a strip club I’ll never know! Liberty got Shannan to try some coke. I thought it would be Liberty who would OD and die, but it was Shannan who had the OD!
Tanya finally got her man Paola away from his adoptive mummy, ew! Yes Joan Collins adopted the kid and then turned him into her boy toy! Unfortunately it seems Paloa wasn’t right in the head, and turned to Tanya to be his new mummy! During a party he went nuts and was later committed. Poor Tanya, she never seems to get a good man does she?
Tanya’s problems were far from over, as soon she found out her dead husband was being investigated and her assets were all frozen. Gary Ryan then offered to buy her shares in Sparks and convinced her to make a bad investment. She lost everything AND she had to sleep with the slime too!
Meanwhile Roger confronted Gary about trying to rape Jackie, and Gary let Roger fall to his death in an open elevator shaft. I can’t believe they killed Roger off! Jackie was devastated and decided she was going to Australia to live with Kyle. Tanya and Jackie, before she left, listened to a recording on Roger’s personal dictaphone and learned he taped his final meeting with Gary. Jackie couldn’t deal with it, Tanya promised to take care of him. She used it to blackmail Gary, who in turn seemed to set Tanya up as well.
Unfortunately that was the end of the series. It was canceled in England, and we are now left with a bunch of crummy cliff hangers! At one point there actually was talk they might do a movie for TV to wrap up the loose ends.
Dana Davis was previously reported as joining “Heroes” as a new hero named Monica. Her powers are unknown, but it is now known she’ll join on the fourth episode and will come from New Orleans.
Beckham and Williams to Guest on Desperate Housewives?

This story actually broke last Friday, but it seems to have changed a lot over the weekend. As of now, there is no real confirmation on WHICH account is correct, but I have my guess. Originally the reports stated that pop star Robbie Williams and soccer star David Beckham were set to star as the new gay couple on Wisteria Lane. Later reports said that head man Marc Cherry only wanted them to star, saying they were his top picks. Another report, which I believe is the most correct, has Marc wanting them to only guest star as a couple who are friends and visiting the new gay couple who has moved into Wisteria Lane.
So Nick went home on BB tonight. Bye Nick, I won’t miss you at all! Honestly he annoys me and I’m glad he’s gone. I’m also glad Kail will be around to stir the pot a bit more. I enjoy the drama in the house. Her time is coming thought.
The HOH competition is an endurance one and is on going. Unfortunately because of the west coast, it seems the feeds aren’t on right now and won’t be back till midnight. I’ll update the post with the new HOH as soon as I find out.
Feeds are back. Danielle, Kail, and Jen are the only players still in the HOH competition.
The new HOH is . . . . . . DANIELLE! It came down to her and Kail. Danielle told Kail if she gave up, she wouldn’t put her on the block. Kail agreed! MORON!

Dick had a talk with Kail. He told her why Nick had to go home, because he was screwing with Danielle in here and he couldn’t have it. She understood. He also said they all want Jen gone this week. Dick and Kail then hugged . . . . yes HUGGED!
IF Magazine has an interview with “Heroes” creator Tim Kring and star Ali Larter (Niki/Jessica). Ali says her character won’t be split in the new season. Also, Michael Ausiello has a quote from Ali saying her character departs early in the season to “fix something” and returns later on.
Finally is this video all over youtube at the moment, which is a preview of Season 2 that was shown at Comic Con. It’s somewhat hard to make out everything going on, but we do get a glimpse of Nathan with a beard and Peter locked up it seems, so both brothers are back. You can also hear Nathan’s mother yelling at him about how if he did what he was supposed to do, his brother would be alive. Also from what I’ve read, in the scene with Claire where everyone screams, she’s cutting off her toe! Parkman is back and it looks like he’s a cop still and is chasing someone. Niki and Micah are briefly shown (there is speculation that DL is dead). There are some sword fighting scenes with Hiro, and we see his father is back. Molly has a nightmare about the boogie man. Suresh confronts someone who is following him. Mr. Bennet’s wife? is confronting him about keeping secrets. At the very end where everyone is oohing again is Sylar (partially blocked by someone’s head). We also see shots of the princess Hiro gets involved with as well as David Anders (who is playing the samurai from Hiro’s legends). He’s the guy taking off his mask, again blocked by someone’s head. We also see a shot of two of the new characters Maya and her brother, who are on the run from someone in Central America. There is a third woman shown in the preview after a car crash (I think) who I believe is a new character as I didn’t recognize her.

“Heroes” has cast Jessica Collins to play Sophie. She has unknown powers and is involved in an organization which tracks the heroes.
