Writers Strike Continues
Well this just blows chunks. In case you haven’t heard, the talks between the Writers Guild of America and the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers have stopped AGAIN. They had begun talking, and the AMPTP had a proposal they thought would please the WGA, but apparently it wasn’t good enough. Talks were called off again as of Friday evening. So the strike drags on, which probably solidifies the end of the season for many shows which have run out of episodes already.
hears nails pounding into coffins of good shows that are just not getting seen cause of being on the wrong time or night…. And struggling….

I’m very worried about this strike. If it last much longer, a lot of shows may not survive it.

This is not the news I wanted to her!

Dude!
I have not heard “blows chunks” since, like, 9th grade. 😉
Agreed, this totally sucks. I am surprised how well a lot of shows ended up for the “season” though — many of them have pretty good cliff hangers for whenever they start back up. (Only thing I hate is when there’s a story — like DH — where you can’t skip ahead, so when everyone’s hairstyles have changed it looks weird.)

While the only bright spot in all of this is a spring season of Big Brother for me, I really am not looking forward to the mass of low quality, not planned well reality tv shows only to be followed up by gossip/news programming. Each side just looks like pricks now. If i dont have a spring tv season i really dont care about either of their sides or what they are after. This fight between them only hurts the viewers!
