Project Runway: The New Villain Revealed?

Project Runway: The New Villain Revealed?

Posted by Dustin on 07.24.2008 at 1:39 pm

On last night’s “Project Runway,” in a flip-flop it was the models who were sent to buy fabrics they’d like and they had to express the outfit they’d like the designers to make for them. The models all went shopping at a store where all the fabrics were “Green,” aka environmentally friendly. The guest judge was Natalie Portman, who has her own brand of Green Vegan shoes.

Wes was sent home, for making a horrid outfit out of a brown silk fabric. The other designer who got stuck with this fabric also had a rotten time it seems. I guess it wasn’t the best fabric to work with, but their designs were off too. There are however a lot of very talented designers this season, so it should be a good one. Suede won this challenge.

It also seems like this season’s “Villain” has been picked. One Jerell was constantly featured with comments bad mouthing the others and their designs. I already dislike his snarky attitude!

Some Callie and Erica Scoopage For Grey’s

Some Callie and Erica Scoopage For Grey’s

At the ABC press tour last week, creator Shonda Rhimes confirmed there will be some kind of a relationship between Callie and Erica next season.

“We have a really interesting, wonderful, funny way of laying out the story of Callie and Erica that I’m pretty excited about, that I feel like is not necessarily your typical — if there can be a typical— your typical way of dealing with the storyline,” Rhimes told reporters.

There have also been rumors that Callie could end up with a bun in the oven, thanks to her romps with McSteamy last season. Additionally, Brooke Smith (Erica) appeared on a video clip with Ausiello talking about how her character has a bit of “Gay Shock” in the beginning after the kiss and tries to ignore it and not talk about it much. It seems we will see Erica struggling with her attraction to Callie and this side of herself.

Heroes Tidbits

Heroes Tidbits

Posted by Dustin on 07.24.2008 at 1:14 pm

I’ve had this one in my folder to blog about for awhile, guess I saved it for a not-so rainy day.

Masi Oka (Hiro) talked with Sci Fi Wire about what’s coming up on the new season of “Heroes.” He hints that even the heroes have villains in them, and we’ll see this in the future versions of themselves.

He sais that Hiro and Ando will be doing more adventuring together in this season, and we’ll see ‘Future Hiro’ again. However it won’t be the one from Season 1, as he no longer exists because they stopped the bomb.

Also of interest, Zachary Quinto (Sylar) also spoke with Sci Fi and made hints that we could see some redeeming sides of Sylar in the new season as he is “conflicted” about some things.

Other tidbits that have been floating around . . . Kristen Bell’s character Elle will be back, but only for a handful of episodes and not as a permanent character. David Anders will also be back as the immortal Adam Monroe. We are supposed to learn he once used the last name Sanders, which will make him related to . . . Nikki!

Big Brother: Evicted And The New HOH

Big Brother: Evicted And The New HOH

Posted by Dustin on 07.23.2008 at 8:54 pm

Steven confesses to Dan the deal he tried to make to save them both, but now he has to work on saving himself.

Steven tries to save himself and talks to others. Ollie tells him the problem is the perception of him in the house goes back to Brian. Steve points out Dan is the one who voted for Brian to stay. April said he was a better competitor. Steve says that would make him a better ally too, and that is something to think about.

Steven left and they all discussed things. They all discussed how Steven made good points, and there was no telling what Dan would do if he got up there.

Dan went to see Jessie and Michelle, basically playing a kiss ass offering to do whatever it took, and if they were going to do something please tell him. They swore they would vote for him to stay, he was safe. He said then he would not campaign in the house.

Angie told Memphis that Dan was a good guy, but the closer they kept Dan to them the better for them.

Keesha and Libra discussed how tight Angie and Memphis were, and Michelle and Jessie were. April joined them in the “We hate Angie” bandwagon. Keesha tried to convince the girls to keep Steven and have him on their side.

We then were treated to Julie Chen’s various fluff questions and a segment on Jessie and Renny’s feud and what their family had to say about it.

The live vote was held and Steven was unanimously evicted!

The HOH competition was then held. This was a trivia competition based on things that got abducted from the house this week by spooky aliens, which appeared in mirrors to them this week.

The winner and new HOH is Keesha! This should be good to see who she puts up. I think the girls in the house are going to be in some serious trouble!

Big Brother: The Veto

Big Brother: The Veto

Posted by Dustin on 07.22.2008 at 10:17 pm

Tonight the players for the veto were chosen. They included Dan, Steven, Jessie, Michelle, Libra and Keesha.

Keesha really wanted to win it and keep Steven, which made Libra, Michelle and April wonder if they could trust her. Michelle took this to Jessie and Memphis, and soon it seemed Keesha had become a new target.

Michelle won the competition though. Keesha told Steve she was sorry, which Libra heard. He later told her she shouldn’t have said that in front of Libra, she probably shouldn’t really be talking to him. He warned her that a lot of people wondered why she didn’t take a slop pass and drop out, they are talking about where her loyalties lay. This upset Keesha a lot.

Keesha confronted Jessie, Memphis and Michelle, saying while Steven was her friend, she won’t risk her game to keep him and she wasn’t going to use the veto had she won. Keesha then told them all that Libra is the one they should be worried about, she is setting her up to look bad yet again. Memphis and Jessie agreed that Libra had to go and they had to backdoor her, and now was the time.

Meanwhile Renny caused more trouble, revealing after the food comp Libra complained that their team had the old people on it. This upset Jerry, who confronted her. Libra went NUTS and screamed all she said was that it wasn’t fair they had two older people and it should have been more balanced. Nobody seemed to want to stick up and say what Libra actually said (which in a flashback seemed to be that they lost cause they got stuck with the old people lol!).

Steven used the latest drama to suggest to Jessie they backdoor Libra. He said he had to make the case to Michelle, which he did. She felt like she would put a target on her own shoulders then, but Steve was so confident that the house would vote Libra out. He said they could even take down Dan and put Libra up. He was sure Keesha, Jerry, Renny and Dan would vote Libra out.

However at the veto ceremony, Michelle opted NOT to use the veto. All I have to say is this will come back to bite someone in the arse; and I really hope it’s Jessie!

Read on for a few more spoilers on how the drama turns!
