Ghost Whisperer Execs State “Jim Not Leaving”

Ghost Whisperer Execs State “Jim Not Leaving”

With the pivitol episode around the corner based on the preivews from last week’s show, Kim Moses and Ian Sander, two of the producers of the show, have blooged at TVGuide that David Conrad (Jim) is NOT leaving the show.

Read carefully: David Conrad is not, not, not leaving Ghost Whisperer. We love him – he is amazingly talented – we all have lots of fun together and he is an important part of the Ghost Whisperer family. But most of all, we here at Ghost Whisperer are very much aware of how all of you feel about him. Again, David is not leaving Ghost Whisperer. Are we clear? We do, however, have some exciting and dramatic things in store for our beloved Jim and Melinda that we can’t wait to share with you- it’s all just around the corner. And, until then, please know you can always come here for the absolute truth.

Still, we don’t know what is going to happen to Jim, as “The Watchers” seem to return as well with their ghostly warnings of death rubbing off on someone close to Melinda.

  1. lf he dies and now is a ghost in her life, I would hate it, why would the writers do such a thing, I will not watch the show anymore!!!! I hate that the writers always have to make things sad!!!! I hope a lot of people stop watching if this happens.

  2. Well, I just watched my DVR from Friday nights show..OMG!!!:( Well, I do have one thing to say….THIS IS GOOD!!! I know how sad it was, I cried, and my husband was a little misty eyed too, but we should give this a chance! This is the best thing about these shows, CSI, Ghost Whisperer, Supernatural, they PULL us in, solve a mystery at the end of the show…we have closure, however, the main characters still have a lingering role. CBS has given us more of an insight of Melinda and Jim’s home life…we took it hook line and sinker. We asked for it!!! We are lucky to have so many great actors to watch..they can really do their job well when we walk away mad, crying or anticipating the next weeks show on the edges of our seats!!…I think that is awesome!!!! BRAVO TO CBS and GHOST WHISPERER ACTORS!! This show is great, yes I was sad…but this mixes it up so to speak…We have dealt with so many shows where the plot will thicken and go no where…let’s sit here, and enjoy the ride…the outcome might not be so bad. Who knows, maybe she will wake up, and it will all have been a dream…maybe. But maybe not. Would that even be what we want?? I am sad, but kind of excited. Aren’t you??

  3. I was there when it first came on with Melinda and Jim from the start. When I saw last Friday episode I cried I was just balling it really shocked because he’s always been there from start to finished. Was I disappointed no theres got to be a surprise somewher in the show to let people not this show is the awesome without shockers this with would not be a show. Plus I love Jim he’s great character and he’s always supporting others character on the show so bring it on. I think the next episode coming will explain it all whatever that maybe hopefully because I don’t see Melinda doing it by herself plus I have this great feeling this baby their wanting to have is going to be very special looking forward to that so fans keep watching don’t give up. Melinda and Jim are forever.

  4. I watched last week’s episode and was devastated when Jim died. I hope that the show’s writers have a clever way to tie him in to the show. I saw it coming and vowed that if Jim is killed off the show, I will have to end my love affair with Ghost Whisperer. Melinda’s character is great but real life has enough sadness and devastation. Jim and Melinda’s relationship provided the light to contrast with the show’s darkness. I almost stopped watching after Melinda’s best friend was killed but I hung in there. I am hopeful because GW is one of my favorite shows and I’d hate to stop watching it but I will.

  5. Sorry writers, but do your research, and this wonderful thing called google will show you just how much your viewers hate this story line, and with good reason.

This is the worst thing you could have done to such a succesful show. It was a death sentence and viewing will srop and commercial will no longer be worth what the companies are now paying.

Make this all a dream, (thank you Dallas), Raise enough money to bring the professor back, keep Jamie Kennedy and get back on track before we lose one of the best tv shows in history.
