Big Brother 12: Evicted and New HOH!

Big Brother 12: Evicted and New HOH!

Posted by Dustin on 09.02.2010 at 9:00 pm

Ragan and Hayden are on the block, as we join the show. Everyone is seated in the living room, but before the vote we got more behind the scenes drama from the past few days.

Hayden was upset that Lane didn’t put Brittany up again, choosing a brigade member instead. Lane however has let Brit convince him that he should take her to the final two, as he won’t win against the others. He also knows she has more enemies than the rest of the brigade do.

Ragan has realized he is not in a good place. He knew he wouldn’t get Enzo’s vote, so if he could get Brit on his side, maybe Lane would chose him to stay. Ragan told her if she goes up against one of those boys in the final two, she’ll lose. If she went up against him, she’d have a chance.

He then went to Lane with his argument. He told him if Enzo goes to the end, he’ll win. If it’s Hayden, he’s more popular. He said Enzo and Hayden are more loyal to each other than to him. Ragan said this could be his week to make a bold move and get Hayden out, and they’d see Lane has played the game.

We then got a look at the jury house and the drama going on there. We first saw Rachel see Kathy walk through the door, though she expected Matt.

Then Kathy and Rachel got to watch Matt, quickly followed by Brendan come in. Rachel was happy to see her man, but sad at the same time as she wanted him to win.

Matt then confessed the truth, that he lied about his wife’s horrible disease. Kathy was not happy, as she is a cancer survivor. She was sickened and stormed off. Rachel and Brendan also let into him, saying how horrible he is for doing this. Kathy said what he did was pretty close to selling his soul to the devil.

The vote occurred, and it was unanimous . . .Ragan is out!

Ragan then got to sit down with the Chenbot, who he has been plotting to one-up all week. Julie asked him why he didn’t reveal the men’s alliance. Ragan said it was because Matt was one of them. They then did a lot of talking about Matt, and how Ragan felt he was like a brother to him. Julie also said he was not leaving empty handed, he won 20 grand as the saboteur.

In her goodbye message, Brit told him how sorry she was he had to go to the Jury house and listen to Rachel’s loud disgusting cackle . . . . they can’t let it go!

The next HOH game was played. It was a puzzle game that involved decorating a christmas tree from behind a wire cage. Basically they had to thread an ornament through a hole and they carefully work it up the fence to the tree and hang it. This game is going to take a long time to complete based on the way it’s going. Brit is having a lot of trouble, dropping or breaking ornament after ornament.

I’ll update when I see who has won! Hayden is the new HOH! So unless she wins veto this week, Brit is probably out!

Castle & Brothers and Sisters Season Premier Spoilers!

Castle & Brothers and Sisters Season Premier Spoilers!

Posted by Dustin on 09.02.2010 at 11:54 am

Here are some spoiler bits for the season premiers of “Castle” and “Brothers and Sisters.”

CASTLE – When the new season of “Castle” begins, Beckett hasn’t heard from Castle since he left for the Hamptons months ago to finish writing his second Nikki Heat novel, “Naked Heat” (on sale September 28). The most Beckett, Ryan and Esposito have seen of Castle is a bookstore standee of him advertising an upcoming book signing. So when Beckett and her team burst into a shadowy apartment on the trail of a murderer, the last thing they expect to see is the real-life Castle standing over a dead woman’s body holding a gun! As Castle protests his innocence, Beckett has no choice but to arrest him on suspicion of murder, on the Season Three premiere of “Castle,” MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 20 (10:01-11:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

BROTHERS & SISTERS – “The Homecoming” – It’s been a year since the Walker family was torn apart by a tragic car accident, and in a very un-Walker like fashion, everyone has been avoiding everyone else. Truths and reality only start to set in when the family is forced to come together for Justin’s homecoming party: Nora tries to prepare for the party, but is not acting like the mother she used to be; Sarah is consumed with the Narrow Lake deal; Kevin has a new career as public defense attorney; Saul and Scotty are running their restaurant; and Kitty’s life has become a taboo subject for everyone. Time has changed the Walkers, on the fifth-season premiere of “Brothers & Sisters,” SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 26 (10:01-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

Army Wives Renewal Watch

According to Deadline.com, ABC (the company that produces “Army Wives”) and Lifetime are still negotiating a season five. Given the raitings the show brings in, should Lifetime pass, I wonder if ABC would consider it a summer show for them?

Meanwhile, Deadline.com also reports that Lifetime has said no to the spin-off. So should “Army Wives” return, we no where Pam’s future will be.

True Blood: Day Walking

True Blood: Day Walking

Posted by Dustin on 09.01.2010 at 4:00 pm

There is only one episode left in the season, and this episode seemed to set the stage for it on many fronts.

As I guessed from the promos last week, Eric used Sookie’s Fairy Blood to set Russell up to Day Walk into the light, where he’d meet the true death. However we were left with Russell and Eric handcuffed outside of Fangtasia. Will Sookie come rescue Eric? Will she heal him with her blood? My guess is yes . . . but also knowing the story for Book 4 . . . my guess is this might be how they are going to concoct that major issue involving Eric.

I’m also guessing after Bill deceived her yet again, with Eric’s plan and pretending to be complacent in giving her up to Russell, that Sookie’s going to have major issues with Bill and soon. This again might help facilitate pushing her towards Eric, and the story for the 4th season? If you want to know the spoiler, I’ll post it at the end 🙂

Sam was an angry SOB in this episode, pushing everyone away. Sam is one of my favorites on the show, so seeing him act like this is annoying to me. Also as posted by CG in last weeks comments, this just seemed to come out of nowhere. I guess learning about his own crappy family made him dredge all this up? I dunno. I did like that it allowed him and Tara to bond. Well okay, they just *bleeped* as they put it. But I would love to see them get back together.

Jessica came clean with Hoyt, saying she accidentally killed a guy, and she can’t live on Tru Blood. He then told her to drink him, which she did. Meanwhile we learned Hoyt’s mama was behind trying to set Hoyt up with Summer, to get his mind off of Jessica. This probably won’t end well at all. I could see the mom, in trying to kill Jessica, shooting Hoyt! Maybe we’ll get lucky and she’ll shoot Tommy, who seems to be up to no good after Sam threw him out (during his drunken fit). He was trying to break in somewhere.

Jason worked through his various issues, or tried to, and agreed to give things with Crystal a shot. She however wanted to stop her dad and half-brother, who were apparently going to endanger some people with their drug dealing. I didn’t catch all of this, mainly because I’ve grown bored with Crystal. It looks like they’ll have a gun blazing showdown in the finale though.

Arlene tried a magic tea concoction of Holly’s to spontaneously abort the baby. She began bleeding and thought it worked . . . but it didn’t! She’s still pregnant, which Terry is thrilled about. Will Arlene have the baby? Will it be possessed by Renee’s spirit? Who knows. One thing is for sure, not much time has passed, so it should be a long time before we see this kid born! Unless they speed up things soap-style, or claim he’s a supernatural baby and speed the process up that way.

Finally after the V-trip, Lafayette began seeing Jesus in a whole new light. He had this scary face to him. To me that means he’ll probably start going down a dark path like his grandfather.

SPOILER for SEASON 4! Read on . . .

This post contains bits about a few different ABC shows I watch/cover here . . . .

First up, the news we have been teased with all summer, but pretty much figured out. Ausiello broke the news that Owen and Christina are marrying in the season premier of “Grey’s Anatomy.” Shocking I know . . . yes I know you figured it out by now.

The ever fabulous Frances Conroy is checking in as a patient on “Grey’s Anatomy” according to TV Guide

Debra Monk will appear in a recurring role on “Brothers and Sisters” this season as a nemesis of sorts for Nora. Nora begins hosting a radio show about moms. Source: Playbill

Stephen Collin’s character on “Brothers and Sisters” is named Charlie. He’ll be Saul’s new boyfriend on the show.

Reggie Austin is going to play new housewife Vanessa William’s husband on the show. Vanessa also makes moves on Brian Austin Green, who is playing a handyman Bree has her eye on.

Here is the new promo for the new season of housewives. No spoilers revealed, but it is funny!
