Several spoilers for “Medium’s” November Sweeps shows. I have really been loving the show this season myself, and am sad at the news that not only does this look to be the last season (not that shocking) but that CBS is cutting the order from 22 episodes to 13. Here is hoping it can gain some ground and come back (even if only a half season as NBC always ran it).

– Alien Abduction on “Castle?” “Aliens” star Lance Henricksen guests.
– Julie investigates a former scientists research into the plant that gave them their powers on “No Ordinary Hero.”
– The Attendings on “Grey’s Anatomy” spot a shocking but familiar place while relaxing a Joe’s Bar. Who could it be?
– Louise Fletcher guests as Pete’s sick mother on “Private Practice.”
On “Desperate Housewives,” Paul and Susan traded jabs back and forth, with Paul getting Susan fired. Poor Mike had no choice but to take the Alaska job, that has him away for three months. Why can Susan and Mike NEVER be happy? Seriously show! Very annoyed, but have to wonder if the actor had to be written off for some reason.
Paul’s new wife was in danger of being thrown out by a fed-up and sexually frustrated Paul, until she saved him from being beaten by a club wielding Susan near the end of the show. She also was told by her mother that she had to make this marriage work, she made a commitment. We never saw the mother, she was on the phone. I have to believe it’s someone important, and Beth is part of something larger. The mom however wasn’t in jail (where Felicia is) as BEth wanted to come back home to her. Who is the mother? Something bigger is going on.
Other stories had Tom having to put his mom into a nursing home, Bree and Keith growing closer over their “baggage,” and Juanita wondering why her mom was so interested in Grace. Carlos was worried Juanita might learn the truth, so they should back off. Yeah, Gabby isn’t going to do that unfortunately.
There is supposed to be some kind of horrific disaster coming up at the end of the year with lives lost (yes they do this yearly now on this show). I’m beginning to wonder if Grace’s parents are possibly going to die in it?
“Brothers and Sisters” dealt with Kevin and the whole Walker clan reacting to Scotty’s cheating. We got the back story to what lead up to the one night fling. It was right after the accident and their surrogate lost the baby. Kevin was in a bad place and basically was all but ignoring Scotty. However as Kevin said, he didn’t feel like Scotty’s punishment fit his crime, and Scotty was the one person who was not supposed to do this. In response Scotty said he was human and just as messed up as the rest of the Walkers.
It was just a hard episode. I guess in part I see why they did it, and was an intriguing story. All the other Walker marriages had failed up to this point, and as Nora said she wasn’t about to let Kevin’s fail. His and Scotty’s will be the one that survives. I just wish they could have found some other storyline for these two than this.
Kitty meanwhile realized Ojai-Boy Jack wasn’t for her, and Luc and Sarah announced their engagement.
