Big Brother: The Power of Bonehead!

Big Brother: The Power of Bonehead!

Tonight on “Big Brother” the Power of Veto would be played, won and used! But first . . . .

Brendan and Rachel reacted to being put on the block. Danielle claimed they went against her last week when she tried to make a big move.

Brendan vowed to win the veto and save Rachel so Dani would still have to deal with her. Danielle wanted Brendan out though, not Rachel. Rachel cried that she will be coming for Danielle.

There was a whole lot of crying, which fortunately had to be edited down from hours to a few minutes for TV. Really, they act like they were never going to see each other again!

Rachel told Jeff and Jordan if one of them wins Veto, Jeff will probably go up. Brendan thinks Danielle is stupid, she’s declaring war on the house with Kalia as her only ally?

Later Rachel and Brendan talked with Jeff and Jordan again. Brendan knew he was the target, and Jeff was likely a backdoor option.

Danielle came to apologize to Rachel. She hoped she wouldn’t take this personally. Danielle was just kissing butt in case of next week. Danielle said she wasn’t trying to hurt her, but Rachel felt it was personal. Danielle said Rachel betrayed her first last week. Rachel said she was getting her revenge now by tearing her heart out. Danielle said it was her best game move. Rachel cried to the DR how mean Danielle is!

Danielle, Brendan, Rachel, Jeff, Adam and Porsche played. Jeff told Jordan later he would not use the veto, but next week he will backdoor Danielle!

The game was an obstacle course with 5 competitions, with everyone bidding how quickly they can do it. The fastest time would play, if they won they knock out the person with the slowest time.

In the end, Brendan won! Brendan planned to save Rachel, but wasn’t letting anyone know. Jeff meanwhile was kicking himself. He knew one of them was going up, and if he goes up he could go home.

Danielle wondered who to put up. She didn’t trust Shelly, but would make a deal with Jeff. She knew Jordan would stay against Brendan, the whole house would see her as less of a threat.

Jeff and Jordan talked to Danielle. Danielle swore to do what she could to keep them here. She hears Brendan is taking himself off, but Jeff heard he’s keeping Rachel. She asked them to see what was happening. Jordan says she can be a pawn if she has the votes. Danielle said putting her up against Rachel is a crap-shoot, but against Brendan she will stay. Jordan also said if she puts anyone else up like Porsche, that is who will go.

Jeff talked to Brendan, he swore he was saving himself, which was a lie. Brendan said he would talk to Danielle himself in a bit. Rachel and Brendan both went up to see where Danielle was at. Brendan said he would be saving himself because he feels he would go further in this house. They wondered if she would put someone up like a Lawon, a floater. He said if they save Rachel, he will consider everything a clean slate. Danielle claimed she’d think about it.

At the ceremony, Brendan took Rachel off and left himself up there, thinking it would completely screw up all of Danielle’s plans. However it really is what Danielle wanted and hoped for, so she nominated Jordan knowing everyone would vote Brendan out!

Last night Brendan and Rachel held their trashy fake wedding, complete with trash bag outfits. You know you can’t wait to see this tomorrow!

Pretty Little Liars and Chloe King Thoughts

Pretty Little Liars and Chloe King Thoughts

Posted by Dustin on 08.03.2011 at 5:37 pm

“Pretty Little Liars” has a lot of stories heating up all over the place. “Chloe King?” My interest comes and goes depending on the episode. Here are some quick thoughts on both.

It looks like the hockey stick is what killed Alison. Scratch that, being buried alive killed her! The girls think Jason is looking more and more guilty, but I have a feeling Melissa killed her and her and Spencer’s dad is covering it up, and always has been. At least that is my theory this week!

I wonder who put drugs into Emily’s system? Were her tests at the hospital tampered with, or has someone drugged her?

Loved Hannah’s mom giving her dad the heave-ho, but I’ll miss Roark Critchlow if they really are writing him off the show.

Hannah and Aria’s moms are slowly figuring out that something big is going on involving all their girls and Alison.

Over to “Chloe King,” I really liked last weeks episode with the Jackals. Definitely neat to learn there are other unique beings. This weeks episode, I wasn’t so thrilled with. I do like that Chloe told her mom about her dad still being alive and suddenly writing her back. I hope we meet him soon.

True Blood: Skinwalking!

True Blood: Skinwalking!

Posted by Dustin on 08.01.2011 at 7:30 pm

Last night’s true blood was definitely . . . . interesting. It all took place under the full moon.

Arlene’s insane devil child Mikey and his devil doll apparently set fire to the house, then magically got himself out on the front lawn. His family escaped, which I don’t think was his plan. As Arlene was blaming her psycho ex-boyfriend, we learned Mikey was seeing the spirit of some African American woman, who looked like she was from the slave era. Yup, I think we have a pissed off voodoo spirit in the house! Anything involving Voodoo, I kinda like!

Because of the fire, Sam found himself busy dealing with issues, and asked Tommy to look over the restaurant. Tommy of course “Skinwalked” and shifted into Sam when he put on his shirt. This led to a whole lot of drama at work, and later him having “relations” with Sam’s new girlfriend Luna . . . then dismissing her like some trashy whore. Yeah, I now get why Sam was beating the crap out of Tommy in that ComicCon preview! Tommy, 1 step forward . . . 8 giant steps back. Can we kill him off now?

Debbie joined the new pack, and tried to convince Alcide to do so as well. Zzzzzz. Alcide and that crazy ex-junkie are boring. Let’s get the Alcide and Sookie action started!

Jason confessed almost all to Sookie about Crystal and the werepanthers. Jason was sure he’d be morphing soon, but later Sookie learned from Alcide just being bitten wouldn’t cause someone to become a were, you had to be born of one or both wereparents.

Bill got the OK to kill Eric, but let him go in the end after Eric made this lovely speach about how he understood why Bill would want him dead, and he hoped he and Sookie found happiness because Sookie deserved to be happy. Awwwww . . . just more making “nice” with Bill given his nasty nasty actions as of late. I’m fully on team Alcide-Sookie at this point, Vamps can suck it! (Yes I know how the books play out, this isn’t the books!)

Jesus and Lafayette found themselves at the mercy of Jesus’ grandpa, who made them gather a sacrifice, then poisoned Jesus and made Lafayette save Jesus using his powers to channel the dead . . . . I have to say I’m not liking their story at all this season. When was the last time we heard Lafayette say “hooooookaaaah!”

Marnie, still stuck in jail, channeled Antonia and we learned the back story between her and Luis, who was one of the priests at the church she was burned at. He admitted last week he was away when Antonia forced his brothers and sisters to walk into the light, which is how he was spared. Now however he knows who the real witch force is, but based on how Marnie subdued him at the very end … I don’t know if he’ll be around to warn anyone!
