True Blood: Giving Up The Ghost!

True Blood: Giving Up The Ghost!

Posted by Dustin on 09.07.2011 at 1:46 pm

So there is only one more episode of “True Blood” left in the season. Horrors! I can’t believe it’s over for another year . . . .

Most of the episode dealt with the vampires showdown with Antonia/Marnie and attempting to save “F’ing Sookie” as they all put it. Hilarious! Jason putting them all in their place was also good.

Pam defied Bill and Eric, who were going to sacrifice themselves to allow Sookie to be let go. She tried to blow up the whole building, which failed. Eric was furios with her and basically told her that he never wanted to see her again. Poor Pam! This of course means she’s probably going to blame Sookie and want revenge . . . .

Marnie/Antonia foresaw her own death, which came at Bill’s hands. Jesus brought out the demon inside of him to part Antonia and Marnie for good, which brought down the forcefield they had set up. Antonia departed when she could, basically leaving Marnie with now power. Eric ripping the one guy witch’s heart out and drinking from it via one of the vessels (using it as a straw) grossed me out to no end!

The previews of course show that Marnie is far from gone. At the very end she took control of Lafayette, and next week Lafayette is going all crazy in his MooMoo. Now I guess we know why they had to finish up the other ghost story as soon as they did. Something tells me Jesus is going to call out the demon again to save Lafeyette, but may not make it to season 5 . . . .

Elsewhere Andy met a Fairy in the woods and had sex with her. When he told Arlene, she convinced him it was just withdrawals. What was that about? Something tells me she’ll show up next season with a little Andy!

Marcus took Luna’s kid and went to have “special adult time” with Debbie. Alcide, Luna and Sam showed up and Sam beat the tar out of Marcus. He didn’t, however kill him. However when Marcus went to shoot Sam in the back, Alcide took care of Marcus . . . which I guess now makes him Alpha and pack leader? He then cast Debbie out . . . finally! Like Pam, she’ll blame Sookie and want revenge . . . . I am happy to see Sam happy for once at the end of a season. Well I guess we aren’t there yet, so anything could happen next week.

Big Brother: Rachel Unleashes Tori and Jessie!

Big Brother: Rachel Unleashes Tori and Jessie!

Posted by Dustin on 09.04.2011 at 7:57 pm

The end of the last HOH game was aired, and Rachel won (Adam 2nd, Jordan 3rd, Kalia last). During the whole game though, we saw some flashbacks and DR sessions.

Kalia hoped Adam didn’t hold a grudge as to the fact she voted him out. In her DR she said she just took a guess on who Jordan and Rachel were voting out. She guessed wrong! Adam of course was pissed at Kalia. Kalia later would tell Adam (on feeds) that Rachel and Jordan told her they were voting him out 5 minutes before the live show, they duped her (which clearly was a lie).

Porsche tried to talk to Adam into some kind of a final deal. She wanted two newbies in the end.

Rachel got her HOH room . . . as Kalia slept and snored through Rachel’s screaming “Who wants to see my HOH room!” Eventually she rolled out butt out of bed, as everyone made fun of how much she sleeps. Every photo in Rachel’s HOH room was her and Brendon.

Kalia made a funny when she said “There were all these photos of Brendan with scruff and muscles and we said HEY! Then we look over at Adam and said hey . . . . . ”

Kalia later kissed HOH butt to try and save herself. She wanted to get the four girls to the end. Rachel said she wanted competitors here, she hated that Danielle, Jeff and Brendan were in the jury house.

Porsche also talked with Rachel, trying to get on her good side. Rachel wanted to know where they went wrong, it could have always been the two of them through the game. Porsche promised to keep her safe if she won HOH . . . which was a lie as she so stated in her DR session, Rachel would be her #1 target.

We then got some flashbacks of Adam’s 90210 and Donna Martin/Tori Spelling obsession.

Rachel ended up with a Pandora’s Box in her HOH room. She was given a sneak peak . . . Tori Spelling was on her monitor. Rachel knew Adam would freak. She was in the backyard waving amidst a bunch of clothes. The prize was a shopping spree with Tori Spelling . . . but a consequence would be the price. She was afraid of another twist, but Adam would kill her if she didn’t take it. Rachel decided to open the box.

As her punishment, she got a shopping spree with Jessie – Mr Pectacular. As she was locked up with him, the rest of the house got the real clothes shopping spree with Tori Spelling! Adam and the girls showed her around the house, while Rachel was forced to watch the others with Tori on a TV monitor. Tori revealed as much as they could put on their body during their backyard 3 minute shopping spree was theirs to keep. When Rachel saw this she screamed “Porsche doesn’t deserve those clothes, she wears sweat pants everyday!”

When everyone found out Rachel’s punishment, they all grimaced. Adam of course thanked her for bringing in Tori.

Adam talked with Jordan and Rachel later saying he is down with them 100% after saving him, and he felt bad last week he turned on them and sided with the newbies for a moment. To herself in the DR, Rachel knew Adam was weak, so to keep him would make it easier for her to win.

Jordan and Rachel both agreed they were final two, and they did not want to see Porsche and Kalia there as all they’ve done the whole summer is sleep.

In the end, Rachel nominated Porsche and Kalia. She said she nominated them because they nominated her and are coming after her.

Because there are only two weeks left, the eviction episode this week is WEDNESDAY!

Big Brother 13: Eliminated Tonight and New HOH!

Big Brother 13: Eliminated Tonight and New HOH!

Posted by Dustin on 09.01.2011 at 9:03 pm

After the 5 minutes of recaps, we finally got to the show. We picked up after the veto meeting where Shelly and Adam went up. Shelly knew her chance in the house was bad, but she’s been working Rachel and Jordan since she realized she was in trouble (i.e. there went her integrity and class!). Rachel and Jordan did a Double DR and couldn’t wait to see Shelly suck up to them.

Shelly got the Fortune Teller to light up and move, and became obsessed with getting some power from it (later Adam would do the same on the feeds!). Shelly literally sat in the room for hoursssssss in front of this machine. This is some heavy editing, as this all happened before the veto and before she sucked up to Rachel and Jordan.

Rachel talked with Shelly and tells her she knows how she played the game, and she respected how she played more than another person who just floated through. However she doesn’t know she can trust her not to vote her out. Shelly offered her her diamond ring to hold as insurance. Rachel said she knows she’s a liar and a manipulator, but she’s done the best job playing this game. Shelly revealed in DR that the ring she was offering Rachel was a FAKE! The woman is still lying out her ass!

Adam came to talk to Jordan and Rachel. He said he has been true to them both, he wants to go to the final four. He was originally in a deal with Shelly, but not after what went down. Jordan told him if they help him, he can’t turn his back on them again. Adam promised them anything. Rachel however knew Adam was the ultimate floater, he’d stay with them as long as they had the power.

Rachel and Jordan talked with Shelly again about how they don’t trust her, they need someone who won’t backstab them. Rachel had been thinking if they kept Shelly, it put the target more on her. Shelly begged Jordan for forgiveness. Jordan said if she was so quick to turn on Jeff, how can they guarantee she won’t do it again. Shelly went into her 100% spiel she loves to say . . . which she’s been saying this whole game. They asked her if she’s thrown any competitions? She said only the first one . . . but we know thanks to Big Brother reminding us . . . that’s a lie.

Rachel talked with Jordan and felt keeping Shelly would be good, because Porsche and Kalia don’t want her in the game and don’t trust her either.

Julie talked with the houseguests for a bit before finally showing us Brendan in the jury house and his reaction to Danielle and Jeff walking in. Danielle drove up and walked in first, which he was thrilled by. They watched the DVD Big Brother gave her to see her demise. Jeff soon walked in though. Danielle was excited and said “Karma!” She said she did plan to keep him and Jordan safe . . . though he said “Whatever.” Brendan said their alliance may have gotten to the end had they stuck together in the first place! They then watched the DVD of Kalia sending Jeff home. Jeff learned through the DVD that he threw the clown shoe out, which cost him the game.

We finally went to the live vote. Shelly told her husband and daughter she loved them, and said to Rachel and Jordan that they are the most important people in this room . . . they have to pick someone who will ride with them. She said the past is the past, vote for her because she’s with them 100%. Porsche and Kalia made faces at one another. Adam spoke and said to vote how they wanted to, and he hoped they’d keep him.

Kalia voted out Adam! (Saying it wouldn’t count).
Rachel voted to evict Shelly.
Jordan voted to evict Shelly.

Shelly is GONE! She was evicted by 2-1. I think Kalia voted how she did for Shelly’s vote – and she told her in her diary message she did vote for her to stay!

Shelly talked with the Chenbot. Chenbot suggested Shelly made the move to get Jeff out too early. Shelly said she thought if she got through this week, she’d be sitting pretty. Shelly realized now that her move wasn’t so good. Julie said Jeff was mad when he left, is she worried about coming face to face with him? She said yes, but she did want to apologize to him. She did want to be friends with them for life. She says everyone loves Jeff and Jordan, she loves them too (except when she was trashing them). Julie asked about her daughter Josie and how she tells her not to lie . . . Shelly said her daughter would have her writing “I will not lie” a lot! Shelly then watched her goodbye videos. Rachel told her that she knows rings, she knew that ring was not a half million ring! Jordan says Shelly opened up her eyes, she never thought someone could turn on her the way Shelly did, and that hurt her. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.

The HOH was played. Julie let them know they were playing as individuals once again. It was one of the comps where they had to make their way through a slime pit (crawling under an obstacle) to get an item, and bring it back to their stand. The person with the most after 13 minutes would win.

Unfortunately we won’t learn who the new HOH is until after the show via the feeds.

Update: It appears Rachel won. Shocker!
