BB14: The New HOH and On The Block After the Reset!
Posted by Dustin on 08.05.2012 at 8:03 pm
As always, we had several minutes of recap, including the coaches return to the game and picking up with the endurance challenge on the pirate ship to select the new HOH.
Britney knew her chances of making it to the end and winning the coaches prize was not good, so that is why she hit the button. Boogie was sitting pretty and thought he could make it to the end, which is why he didn’t push the button.
Before the HOH comp, Dan let Boogie know that the plan was to vote Frank out because he needed to build trust with him. Janelle lied about hitting the reset button to make herself look innocent, while giving it her all to win the whole game.
The HOH game continued for a few hours, and it came down to Ian, Britney and Danielle. Wil dropped along with Shane, but not before Danielle promised to keep Wil safe. Shane pretty much knew he was safe with Danielle or Brit. Janelle jumped because she was “back in with Britney” and hoped she’d keep her safe. Ian was the next to try and work out a deal with Danielle. Dan then told Danielle to set the deal, don’t make the deal. Danielle knew that Dan had her back and she had his. Ian got Danielle to promise he was safe and there would be no backdoor, so he dropped. Britney then dropped to give Danielle the HOH. Dan gave her a huge hug, and Shane gave her a huge kiss!
Everyone who fell stayed around, except Frank and Boogie. They went inside to get warm and talk strategy. Boogie knew Danielle and Wil told Frank that he was safe, but they were lying. Frank and Boogie, where were inside, were shocked to learn Danielle won HOH.
Dan realized his confiding in Boogie about sending Frank home was already backfiring as Frank now knows. Meanwhile Shane was upset that his HOH turned out to be pointless. Boogie remained on a rampage to find out who knew about the plan to send Frank home. Britney played innocent, though everyone was planning to get him out and she knew someone has a big mouth. Britney needed to find out who threw the entire house under the bus. Britney talked to Shane about not admitting anything about the original plan to get rid of Frank, and to stay on Danielle and Dan’s good side. Britney went back to Boogie and Frank and says Shane swore to Frank that he was good, she’s clueless.
Dan admitted to Danielle and Britney that he was the one who screwed up and told Boogie that Frank was going, he was just so excited that he blabbed. Well we know that’s not what happened, he wanted to get on Boogie’s good side.
Danielle got her HOH room, and most weren’t very happy about it. It was another ass kissing session in the HOH room!
Danielle, Britney, Shane and Dan all tried to figure out who to nominate. Dan didn’t want another coach up, because if a coach goes this week then he has the biggest target on his back. Dan suggested Wil and Frank, with Wil as the pawn. Danielle agreed that Frank needed to go. Later Britney and Danielle talked with Wil about nominations, and Wil reminded Danielle that she promised to keep him safe! Danielle felt bad about just deciding to put him up . . .
Dan and Danielle had another conversation. She doesn’t know if she wants to nominate Wil as a pawn and make him an enemy, but she’s also afraid of Boogie not being on the block. Dan continued to try and keep a coach off the block, as they’d have his back later. Danielle didn’t want to piss off Will, but if she put Boogie and Frank then one would go guaranteed. That would be good for her game.
The nominations were held, and in the end Danielle nominated Wil and Frank. Wil was furious he was on the block. Danielle wanted Frank to go, and hadn’t yet talked to Wil about being a pawn. Boogie however was insulted he wasn’t on the block!

Michael Raymond-James, probably best known to many as Renee from the first season of “True Blood,” has landed a recurring role on “Once Upon A Time.” At this time it’s not known who he will actually be playing. Also Collin O’Donoghue has been cast as Captain Hook on the show. Source: TVGuide.com
Word has already gotten out that Eric Dane aka McSteamy is leaving “Grey’s Anatomy” in the upcoming season after only a few shows. Now leaked photos twittered by Patrick Dempsey suggest how that may happen! The photos showed Eric’s character Mark Sloan in a bed and on life support. Another photo showed Callie sitting by his bed side. Dempsy was later asked to remove the pictures, but by then they had made it to several sites.
Ryan Murphy revealed one of the first images from “American Horror Story” season two on his twitter. The image shows Adam Levine in what appears to be tunnels below the asylum shining a light on a painting of “Bloody Face.” It looks like this is the new big bad of the season. Also the new season will be titled “American Horror Story: Asylum.” The season is supposed to be focused on real life horror and insanity, and less on supernatural elements.
According to Deadline.com Jessica Parker Kennedy (formerly of “The Secret Circle”) will join “90210” this upcoming season in the recurring role of Megan, a young girl involved in a therapy group with one of the main characters. Also Zap2It is reporting that Lindsey McKeon will be a mentor character to Silver this season over her medical issues with breast cancer and the Braca gene. McKean is probably best known for roles on “Supernatural” and “One Tree Hill.”

So we are now three episodes into the new season, and all hell is about to break lose it seems. This week was the first partners challenge. Not only were they randomly paired up, but it was the red carpet challenge, and their clients were former contestants! It seemed the show strived hard to pick a mix of the nicest ones, and then nastiest ones they could. Ironically Irena, who seemed the worst to work for and generally seemed to hate her dress, ended up in the end having one of the top 2 dresses. The look on her face when it was picked as one of the highest was priceless. I don’t think she expected it, and really neither did some of the other contestants!
However next week seems to be when it falls apart. At the end of this week Andrea and Christopher were both on the block against some others. Both were safe, but it appeared to be too hard on them. Christopher was devastated, while Andrea took the attitude “well I won’t mind going home to my family and friends.” Then the next morning, all of her stuff was gone. Yup, it seems like Andrea went out the door! Then we got the preview that Kooan is teasing his decision to also leave the show. In this last challenge, even though he won with Gunnar, he felt he was way out of his element as he doesn’t do gowns. Will he leave too? That would probably mean bringing some people back to stretch the season out.
Finally, while he is a great designer, this season is already looking to be the “Ven Season.” How much excitement can there be if he just keeps winning challenge after challenge? I hope the others step it up!

The reactions to Frank’s nomination by Shane were in . . . Boogie was not happy, while Ashley was jumping for joy that she was taken down. Frank wasn’t happy, but felt he had enough votes to get Joe out and keep him in.
Shane told Joe that he was sorry, he had to do what he had to do. Joe still didn’t like being on the block, but felt better about his chances.
Franke and Boogie talked. Frank told Boogie that Shane swears no matter what happens, he is good. Frank takes that means Joe will be going out. Boogie felt left out, as his own player didn’t confide in him.
Britney came to talk to Boogie and Frank about what is going on. She told them about her conversation with Ian that Shane wasn’t out of the realm to be nominated. She was trying to relax them that Frank wasn’t a target, but really he was.
Will came to suck Shane’s ass. Ashely and Janelle were already in the room with Shane. Shane warned them that he now has blood on his hands. Janelle felt it was a bold move, too many people take the safe route.
Boogie talked with Ian and Frank, he said they’d make it passed this, but Shane and Britney have a lot of power over Danielle and that is something to keep in mind.
We were then delighted to Britney and Janelle talking about “the cramps.”
Joe, Ashley and Janelle talked . . . Joe thinks that Wil has a deal with the other side right now based on conversations.
Janelle came to talk to Wil about where his head is at and how he is feeling. She was basically doing whatever she could to make sure Wil voted out Frank. Janelle told him how much he means to her in this game. Wil of course wasn’t falling for any of this, which he said in his DR sessions.
Boogie meanwhile tried to make a deal with Dan to keep Danielle completely safe next week should they keep Frank over Joe. Dan of course discussed it all over with Danielle.
The guests assembled in the living room for the big vote. BUT FIRST . . . . Chenbot asked them all various questions about the game so far.
Julie asked Shane about his relationship with Frank. Shane didn’t trust Frank, but trusts Boogie even less. She also asked about his relationship with Danielle. He claimed he wouldn’t pursue a showmance as it would a target on his back.
The vote was held . . . . BUT FIRST . . . . Julie revealed shocking news before they voted which could change how they voted. She told them about “America’s Vote” . . . and that the results were in. America has decided that the coaches will be offered the chance to compete in the game. Julie said if they chose to give up coaching, they reset the game here and now. It would also mean no eviction tonight, and all would fight for HOH. However if they stayed coaches, it will continue as normal. However if they stay coaches, some evicted houseguests will have the chance to return . . .
Julie said each coach would then choose to vote. If one of the coaches voted to enter the game, all four would enter as players!
Britney was first up, and she decided to hit the button!
Boogie was next, and he chose not to push the button.
Dan was the third, and he too hit the button.
Janelle was last, and she too hit it!
Julie told them that the reset button was activated, no eviction would happen, and they were all to play for HOH!
Because of the reset, Shane was eligible to play for HOH. The game was an endurance challenge, which of course means it will be around midnight before we know who wins. They were all grasping to a wall (a fake boat) and a bar for life and standing on a little plank (the game is called walk the plank). To make it more difficult, the boat began to tilt back and forth. Rain was next up for them, and then the show ended . . . .
The reactions to the nominations were in. Janelle talked to Britney and claimed she was okay with what happened, she understands. Britney wasn’t buying the butt kissing. She talked to Shane about the option of putting Frank up and backdoor him if one of Janelle’s players won the veto.
Janelle talked to Ashley, Joe and Wil. She told them now was the time to kiss ass. She said Shane had to know that they understood, and they needed to make him feel safe for next week if one of them stays and wins. Janelle told Joe specifically to try and strike a deal with Shane.
Joe went to suck ass, but Shane wasn’t buying it. He felt Joe was two weeks too late! Joe then decided to be honest, this sucks and isn’t fun. He said Shane knows how it feels, it sucks. Shane wasn’t sure what Joe was up to, getting on his good side or trying to go out the door? Joe told the DR that he would be coming after Shane.
The veto competition was held. Shane, Joe and Ashely were all playing. Chosen were Danielle, Ian and Frank! Jenn was chosen as the host. The veto game was circus themed. They had to roll multiple balls up these ramps and keep them all rolling, sort of a play on juggling. In the end Shane won the POV!
Britney came to talk to Shane about the POV and what to do. Both were furious with the other side, how they’ve been sitting pretty for weeks. Now was the time for them to feel the heat. Both agreed that Joe couldn’t be trusted, neither could Janelle. As they were mocking Joe, Janelle came to see them to talk game! Janelle tried to throw Frank out there as an option, as he’s a huge player and why waste HOH taking out a weak player. Britney told Janelle straight up that she didn’t think her players even want to work with them. One by one, all of Janelle’s players started streaming in. Ashely and Will showed up, Joe remained away and rubbing his head and face. Janelle continued trying to make deals to get Boogie’s players out. Janelle said that Boogie and Frank wouldn’t take Shane to the end, they’d take Jenn or Ashley over him.
Joe eventually did come to kiss ass. He did more than that, he swore on the life of his wife and kids that he would protect him! Joe swore everything he could to work with him, even take out his own team members.
Wil’s birthday party was held, and it was a raucous occasion. They played spin the bottle, and apparently some stuff that was too hot for TV was not aired . . . such as skinny dipping and streaking.
Britney tried to reach out to Ian about keeping Shane safe next week, but he couldn’t say that wasn’t an option one way or the other. Shane and Britney realized they just can’t trust Boogie or his players now. Shane trusted Frank, but not Boogie. He was beginning to think it was time to backdoor Frank.
The veto meeting was held, and Shane decided to use the Veto and put Frank up! Janelle felt great about this and like she was now pulling the strings, while Boogie was furious.
Tomorrow is the eviction, as well as the result of the big “America’s Vote” which will decide if the coaches come back as players.
