TVGuide is reporting that this fall one of three couples will marry on Grey’s! Callie and Arizona, Alex and Lexie or Owen and Christina.

Interestingly, Kristin at E! has been running a teaser contest to reveal a “fan favorite” couple on a show getting married, which will come out of the blue and be a shocker. One of them is Owen and Christina!

Other spoilers going around . . . the show will pick up some time after the deadly shooting spree from the season finale.

Keck of TVGuide reports Mandy Moore will return to the show in the new season. She was the woman who was stuck in the room with Miranda and that dead arrogant doctor Percy.

Teddy will move on from Owen and find a romance with James Tupper’s character Dr. Perkins, who arrives to help everyone overcome the deadly shootings.

Derek is no longer chief, and has apparently taken up car racing (which is a real life hobby of the actor).

Dr. Jackson Avery (aka Dr. Pretty Eyes) will get a romance and a nude scene.

“Grey’s Anatomy” returns on September 23rd

The Gates / Scoundrels Pre-Finale Thoughts

The Gates / Scoundrels Pre-Finale Thoughts

Posted by Dustin on 08.13.2010 at 5:19 pm

So “Scoundrels” ends its season this Sunday, and it looks like “The Gates” ends next Sunday (as no further releases are out for it). As far as I know, ABC has not announced if they’ll bring either back next summer. My guess is not, which is a shame as both were really good shows.

I really like “Scoundrels” as it’s funny and cute. I like Chery’s flirtations with Detective Mack, though it looks like Wolf might be sprung from jail in the finale. Uh-oh! I also can’t help but think Patty Hong will end up pregnant, at the same time her step-mom is, both by one of the twins.

On “The Gates” it would appear Frank Buckley isn’t the supreme evil in “The Gates . . . ” Devon is. She seems to be collecting all she needs to possibly make a creature? A hybrid vampire and wolf? I’m not sure what she’s doing, but it’s interesting! I still want answers though on the police girl’s secret, before the end of the season/show.

B&S: Army Wives Ex-Hubby Is Kitty’s New Love Interest!

Ausiello is reporting that Jeremy Davidson, who plays Pamela’s now ex-husband Chase Moran on “Army Wives,” will be joining “Brothers and Sisters” this fall for a multi-episode arc playing a new love interest for Kitty.

When the show returns, it will be a year after the crash. Much is different. Robert is dead. Older brother Tommy has once again been written off the show. Rebecca will only appear in a handful of episodes early on to explain her departure from the show as well. Kevin and Scotty will end up with older foster kids when surrogacy didn’t work out.

Big Brother 12: August 12th Eviction, First Jury Member and New HOH!

Big Brother 12: August 12th Eviction, First Jury Member and New HOH!

Posted by Dustin on 08.12.2010 at 7:29 pm

So once again I neglected to recap Wednesday’s show, which did have a fair amount of drama. Apparently not as much as Tuesday night’s feeds. How is it every time I am out, that’s when the drama happens? Damn it!

On the show basically Jeff and Jordan returned, and they are still a couple and together. Awwww, there is hope for Brendan and Rachel . . . maybe. However Britney won the veto and failed to use it, with Brendan trying to throw himself under the bus and make the house hate him enough to send him home. Rachel was touched . . . it was the most special gift she’d been given . . . *sniff sniff*

The show tonight began with the reactions to Brendan’s speech. Britney turned on him and wanted him out. Ragan too was upset and wanted him out. Brendan’s plan to take the target off Rachel’s back worked! At first that is.

Brendan didn’t mind taking the fall for the woman who might be his wife, the mother of his kids. Rachel then cried about how special and wonderful he is.

Okay American, I’ve figured it out. Rachel and Brendan don’t care about the money anymore. They know they won’t make it to the end. They are aiming for their own reality show out of this.

Rachel talked to Britney saying that she’s sorry, she didn’t know what Brendan was going to say. Britney went off on Brendan saying he was classless, he hates women, he is a sinking ship and taking her down.

Britney tried to turn the rest of the house against Brendan this week, knowing they originally wanted Rachel out.

Ragan is also campaigning to get Brendan out. He’s become BFF’s with Matt BTW, and hiding out in the HOH room for days after the blow-up that was about to occur on air.

Rachel tried to get friendly with Britney and Ragan to get their votes and claim she didn’t know what happened, they were friends once . . . Ragan said that her behavior and the theatrics have been outrageous. He says every argument that occurs usually originates with her or about her. That unfortunately set Rachel off, and she stormed off once again feeling (and playing?) the victim.

Brendan then confronted Britney and Ragan as to what they did now. He told them they went from being her best friends to stabbing her in the back. There was a lot of bleeping going on as well. Ragan called him a Neanderthal, and when Brendan actually corrected Ragan’s pronunciation of it Britney and him lied. He vowed to win HOH and take all them cockroaches out. (There was apparently a lot more that happened, Rachel apparently also went nuts on the whole house . . . hmmm).

The rest of the Brigade realized if they get Rachel out now, Brendan will get taken out next week all on his own, he has his target. However Rachel was a strong player, so to keep her is taking a chance.

Ragan was given a new task by America. The one he chose was to create paranoia that the person voted out might not be gone and true love conquers all. This got Rachel and Brendan’s hopes up, sending Rachel off on a “me and my man” rant. Everyone else began to worry, Matt was sure Rachel or Brendan must have a special power now.

We then went to the living room to talk with the houseguests. As usual none of the questions were really entertaining. Julie congratulated them for making it to the halfway point (Big Brother actually threw them a party). She said 7 of them would become the jury to decide who would win.

We then heard from Brendan’s ex-fiancee. She claims Brendan tried to change her, so she dumped him. She said everything he’s said to Rachel, she heard a million times. The ex-fiancee’s parents make a drinking game out of watching the show, and are so thankful he didn’t marry their daughter.

Brendan and Rachel made their “save me” speeches before the big vote. They both talked about how much they loved each other. The vote then happened.

Everyone in the house voted to evict Rachel. It was a unanimous vote.

Rachel said goodbye to Brendan, and they whispered to one another. Rachel then walked out without saying goodbye to anyone else. Brendan however told them all to be ready.

When asked about things, Rachel wasn’t shocked, and said maybe she’d be moving to LA for Brendan. Rachel watched her goodbye messages. Brendan told her how she was someone that comes once in a lifetime, and he’d get revenge on everyone. Julie then told Rachel she was off to the jury house . . . . but it might not be the last she’s seen of it. Sounds to me like someone might get voted back into the house down the road!

The houseguests played the HOH game. They had to untangle the rope they were tied to from a large web. The first one to do it won HOH and picked three people to be the have-nots. Of course it’s another one where we won’t know who won for awhile. It’s not an endurance comp, just a puzzle they have to solve.

The new HOH is . . . .

Pretty Little Liars: Summer Finale

Pretty Little Liars: Summer Finale

Posted by Dustin on 08.12.2010 at 1:17 pm

So this past tuesday was the summer finale of “Pretty Little Liars,” and it looks like the second half of the season won’t air till next January. What! That’s so far off! By then I’ll at least have gotten through all the books. After this episode I have a ne suspect for “A,” and it isn’t the obvious one.

The whole show dealt with many of the girls biggest secrets getting exposed. “A” told the school that Hannah had liposuction to lose her weight. She didn’t, but she did become bulimic (which I can’t recall if it’s been said on the show or not). Apparently “A” sent Emily’s mother photos of her and Maya, but Emily just couldn’t bring herself to tell her army father the truth when he returned from war. Hannah, spying on Mona’s party (which she was disinvited from) learned Aria has been dating Mr. Fitz. Then there is Spencer and the return of Melissa’s boyfriend Ian, who was the first of Melissa’s boyfriends she fooled around with. She kept that secret though, and made up with Melissa.

Toby returned to tell Emily his secret. The date Allison died was also the date he broke it off with Jenna. Jenna was in love with him, she still is, but what they were doing was wrong and he had Allison to thank for making him see that. He told her so, then gave her a sweater of his as she seemed cold. Unfortunately she wore the sweater when she died, then it was found . . . and now Toby looks like the killer. He swore to Emily he was not.

One of Alison’s secrets came out too. The older man she was seeing was Ian! The last moments Alison was ever seen was on a tape Ian made of him and Allison (wearing Toby’s sweater) at Kissing Rock. Ian looks like the prime suspect for “A,” but is he?

The show ended with Hannah seeing “A” leaving a message and knowing who “A” was. BEfore she could tell the girls though, “A” ran her over outside of Mona’s party and sent the others a message “She knew too much.”

So who do I now think “A” is? I think it’s Spencer’s sister Melissa. She pinged my radar awhile ago, but now she’s really suspicious. She mentioned to Spencer that “Alison’s games and secrets were probably what got her killed.” When Spencer suggested a truce between her and her sister, Melissa said “it was getting tired hating her all the time.” Spencer thought the didn’t like each other, she didn’t know they hated each other. Finally we saw “A” watching the tape Ian made of him and Allison, so Melissa knew Ian had been cheating on her . . . probably with Spencer as well. I think Melissa is “A.” Now that I have a long time to finish the books . . . I’ll find out if I’m right before it airs on TV.

The Brittany/Britney episode of “Glee” just got a whole lot bigger. It looks like Britney Spears herself is in fact to guest star in the episode.

True Blood: Couples Split, Couples Reunite, Couples Die

True Blood: Couples Split, Couples Reunite, Couples Die

Posted by Dustin on 08.09.2010 at 8:38 pm

As always, a great episode of “True Blood,” and Jason is back on top not only as the king of dumb, but for having the best line of the episode when he asked the just woken up Sookie, who hadn’t yet spoken “Do you have brain damage?”

Sookie and Bill broke up after what he did to her, but by the end of the show were not only back together, but having rough sex . . . rough being the key word. What was with them both strangling each other? Yuck!

Russell took major blows in this episode . . . and not in the way he probably would have liked! It would seem, based on Talbot’s (RIP) comments that Franklin is also RIP’ing. He mentioned having to clean his brains off the beds upstairs. Elsewhere Bill and Jessica killed a bunch of his wolf pack that Debbie brought to take down Sookie. Sadly Debbie escaped in the end . . . why didn’t Sookie blast the crap out of her? I guess because then there would be little use for Alcide?

Erik meanwhile got in on with Talbot, and just as he was about to take him from behind . . . he staked him from behind. WOW! That I was not expecting . . . and I really liked Talbot. He was funny. However it’s Erik’s revenge as he put it, for Russell killing his family. Russell sensed Talbot’s demise, which ironically kept him from killing Bill. I don’t think that was in Erik’s plan though, he would have loved to have seen Bill done away with.

I cannot wait to see what happens between Erik and Russell in the next episode! I think for the first time in this entire series, I really don’t care what’s going on with Bill.

Elsewhere, Sam’s mom came groveling for money, and Sam gave her some and sent her packing. Tommy meanwhile . . . he’s going to give Jason a run for dumbest guy in town. He not only wanted to pick a fight with Hoyt over Jessica, but later Crystal’s fiance and father (who came looking for her). Dumb boy/dog!

Jason meanwhile made up with, and then love to Crystal . . who had been beat up by her white trash family. In yet a classic Jason move, he went to see her family with a gun and told them not to come near Crystal again. Oh boy, so dumb! Also his “I’m a cop” line has gotten old, because everyone knows he isn’t. It was funny at first, now I just expect him to say it.

Lafayette’s crazy mama returned. She had a good line too because of her delivery . . . . JESUS! Which she shouted when she opened the door and Jesus stood there. Lafayette’s mom kept alluding to his power in this episode, which people were after. Jesus seemed to confirm there was something about him that was powerful . . . so wait . . . now Lafayette is special too? Aside from having a dirty mouth that is 🙂

Finally Renee showed up out of the blue, in Arlene’s dream, warning her that his baby boy inside her would be like him and finish the work he started. Freaky! Arlene finally got some help at the diner, hiring a new waitress named Holly. Little doe she know that Holly is as special as everyone else on this show! She’s apparently a witch and becomes a major character down the road.

Big Brother August 8th: Matt Nominates Brachel, Ragan Accepts America’s Offer

Big Brother August 8th: Matt Nominates Brachel, Ragan Accepts America’s Offer

Posted by Dustin on 08.08.2010 at 7:57 pm

Because the last HOH was endurance, much of the first half of tonights show was dedicated to showing how things turned out. Once again, it came down to Matt and Ragan. Matt was pissed that once again his entire alliance failed him and leaves him to do the dirty work. Kathy was the first down, and the only Have Not for the week . . . however she claims she did it so she seems weak and not a threat.

In the end Matt won, and Ragan let him do so because he hoped it would help him skate through again. Rachel meanwhile was not happy that Brendan yet again failed to fight for them, and she knew she and Brendan were going up.

Brendan comforted Rachel, who was clearly cold with him. She told him they would be on the block now, and she would be the one going out the door.

After getting his HOH room, Matt later found Pandora’s box. He was warned he could get something good or bad, and it could happen to him or the rest of the house. Matt was told he could gain the “Diamond Power of Veto” if he opened the box . . . . He opened the box and approached the “Diamond Power of Veto,” which allows him to save himself or anyone else, as well as name the replacement nominee. HE had to keep it a secret and had to use it at one of the next two evictions. Matt was thrilled, thinking he now totally ran the game the next two weeks.

However he soon suspected something bad would happen to the rest of the house, and he had to lie about the box. He then told them about the box and won a whole dollar. Brendan knew that if something good happened to MAtt, then something bad would happen to them. He knew Matt won something. NOBODY was believing Matt that he only got a dollar, and he knew it too.

Ragan later found the invitation to be the new Saboteur for the next two weeks. He was told he had to execute three sabotages, and if he survived the next two weeks then he would win 20K. Ragan pondered whether to take the offer or not, and eventually agreed to do it.

Ragan and Rachel ended up in some huge fight (why I don’t know, I missed it). I think Rachel accused Ragan and Matt of being in an alliance.

Rachel and Brendan talked to Matt, warning him basically that if one of them goes this week . . . not only will the other be after him, but other people in this house will too (I’m not sure why they had this reasoning).

Later the Saboteur appeared in their fuzzy video, thanking Matt for opening the box and releasing them, and their mission was to cruise to the 1/2 million while they stabbed them all in the back. Everyone was upset, and Matt came away looking worse than ever to many.

The nominations occurred and of course Matt did put up Rachel and Brendan.

I do know right after the ceremony, Rachel apparently blew up and said some things that ticked Brendan off, because she made herself a bigger target.

The veto ceremony has been played and the spoilers are up in earlier posts if you wanna know who wins it!
