Joan Collins Wants To Be A Housewife
Joan Collins apparently really wants to return to television. She missed out on the role of Teri Hatcher’s mother on “Desperate Housewives” and now is reportedly “begging” for a role, claiming she’ll even have a little nip’n’tuck if needed.
Joan will shortly begin a stint on season 5 of “Footballers Wive$” on BBC America where she’ll face off with Tanya’s character, who has eyes for her young son.
Personally, I’d love to see Joan on “Desperate Housewives.” I loved last season when they brought in Dixie Carter as Orson’s mother. Perhaps Joan could be Victor’s mother?

I don’t think I want to see her on DH. Season 3 somewhat set right the total disaster that was season 2. I don’t want to see DH become as self-indulgent as that ever again… and that means keeping the “famous” guest stars and unbelievably convenient drop-ins from random relatives to a minimum.
The cast of DH is big enough as it is… there’s barely enough time for the four housewives, Edie, Carlos, Julie, the Van De Kamp kids, Mike, and now there will be Mike’s brother too.
