PRODUCTION BEGINS IN LOS ANGELES ON THE FOURTH SEASON OF ABC’S CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED HIT SERIES “GREY’S ANATOMY”

“Grey’s Anatomy” stars Ellen Pompeo as Meredith Grey, Patrick Dempsey as Derek Shepherd, Sandra Oh as Cristina Yang, Katherine Heigl as Isobel “Izzie” Stevens, T.R. Knight as George O’Malley, Justin Chambers as Alex Karev, Chandra Wilson as Miranda Bailey, James Pickens, Jr. as Richard Webber, Sara Ramirez as Callie Torres, Eric Dane as Mark Sloan and Chyler Leigh as Lexie Grey.

“Grey’s Anatomy” was created and is executive produced by Shonda Rhimes (“Introducing Dorothy Dandridge”). 1. I am currently disgusted by the idea that Mere has to deal with more of her horrendous family. I would love it if for a season she could have less issues. You know happier moments and less stressful shit going down.

  2. Gah! You think Shonda Rhimes would have the good sense to stop forcing unwanted new cast members upon audience after the debacle that was Season 3. It was one of the reasons, the show sucked this year – too many storylines for too many people. And, no offense to Chyler Leigh, but she’s a series ender – all the shows she’s been on managed to end up cancelled. I want to see more of the interns and a return to the original feeling of Grey’s Anatomy. We’ve never even gotten to a good back story on Alex and now we’re going to be forced to watch Meredith’s sister come between her & Derek? Meredith already has a sister. Her name is Christina Yang.

  4. I totally agree—-I am so sick of the same story happening every season. I understand that there needs to be some sort of drama going on, but it at least could be DIFFERENT drama. I mean, every season, there has been someone that comes between Meredith and Derek. At least, it something is going to come between them, make it a situation or circumstance rather than another person(such as, Addison, The vet, and now her own sister lexie)!!

Bad move—I think this stupid storyline also takes away from the other things happening. People get frustrated and then they will stop watching.

  5. Completely agree. I am well aware of the argument that once the main characters are happy viewership dwindles, but I don’t necessarily buy it. For once I would like to see Meredith come out ahead. And from what I read on a different website, there was 90+% NEGATIVE reaction regarding Lexie Grey, yet they keep her on the show. I wish I knew what was going on in Shonda’s mind.

  6. I can’t believe they want to throw away a great tv show. Maybe they are all going to surprise us, but I am with you, and HATE the idea of another Grey!!! They season fianle was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO depressing, all of the SL were sad. Why don’t we focus on more happy Sl!!!!

  7. Very true about every year there is someone coming between Meredith and Shepard but Lexie the sister sounds very interesting to me for a new storyline. I am not sure about it yet! Just have to wait and see.

  8. I agree with Christine. I am great fan of Meredith and Dereck and I would like for once having them happy for at least a season (can’t say a year since the first 3 seasons are a year in story time). However, I think that Lexie can add something to the show as a new intern, but I want them to keep her away from Dereck. They could use her to fix the relatonship between Meredith and her dad or something like that. As far as Meredith and Derick please let them be (at least that’s what I’m hoping for.
