It’s the time of year when networks begin ordering pilots to review and make decisions come May for the next year. ABC has been ordering several.
TV Guide reports that ABC is looking at a Jerry Bruckheimer pilot about amateur detectives.
A Mark Gordon show called “Empire State” which appears to be a modern day “Romeo and Juliet.”
“Limelight” appears to be a reworking of “Fame,” probably due to the success of the “Highschool Musical” movies.
Additionally, Shonda Rhimes of “Grey’s” fame is said to be working on a show involving two female journalists working in Washington D.C. She’s said to have been developing the show for years, even before “Private Practice.”
