ABC Spoiler Roundup: Samantha Who and Castle

ABC shows the week of April 1st all appear to be repeats, save for some of the newer shows. Here are spoilers for the next two weeks of “Castle,” and “Samantha Who.”

I’ve added “Castle” to the blog, as I’m watching it. However I’m not sure how much I can cover it really. Shows that basically wrap up a story in an hour or half-hour I find hard to discuss.

CASTLE AND BECKETT UNCOVER THE DARK SIDE OF PREP SCHOOL TEEN CULTURE WHEN A BODY TURNS UP IN CENTRAL PARK, ON ABC’s “CASTLE”

“Hedge Fund Homeboys” – A once wealthy teenage boy whose family has fallen on hard times is found dead in a rowboat floating along the lake in Central Park. As Castle and Beckett try to piece together the events leading up to his death, his friends do everything in their power to thwart the investigation. As they unravel the truth from the lies, a story of betrayal and obsession emerges. Meanwhile, Castle debates whether he can leave Martha home alone while he chaperones Alexis’ class trip to Washington, DC. Martha might be an aspiring “Life Coach,” but that doesn’t mean she’s trustworthy, on “Castle,” MONDAY, MARCH 23 (10:02-11:00 p.m. ET) on the ABC Television Network.

Guest Cast: Jamie Chung as Romy Lee, Julia Nickson as Mrs. Lee, Nolan Gerard Funk as Brandon, Michelle Page as Amanda Kunal Sharma as Spencer.

WHEN A BODY FOUND WRAPPED IN A RUG TURNS OUT TO BE A CITY COUNCILMAN, CASTLE AND BECKETT DISCOVER THAT DIRTY POLITICS CAN BE DEADLY, ON ABC’S “CASTLE”

“Hell Hath No Fury” – When the dead body of a New York City Councilman running for re-election rolls out of a rug and into Beckett’s case files, she and Castle are thrown into the world of dirty politics. Meanwhile, Castle’s final novel in the Derrick Storm series hits the bookstores, causing his mother to search for any and all signs of failure. And at one of his book readings, Beckett tries to throw Castle off his game, only to learn that he has flipped the script on her once again, on “Castle,” MONDAY, MARCH 30 (10:02-11:00 p.m. ET) on the ABC Television Network.

Guest Cast: Bruno Campos as Calvin Creason, Joshua LeBar as Jason Bollinger, Lisa Waltz as Laurie Horn, Michael Reilly Burke as Frank Nesbit and Jonathan Banks as Bruce Kirby.

WHEN TODD DISCOVERS SOMETHING PECULIAR ABOUT ANDREA’S PRO BASKETBALL-PLAYING DATE, SAM DECIDES TO MEDDLE IN THE B-BALLER’S AFFAIRS IN ORDER TO KEEP HER FRIEND FROM BEING HURT, ON ABC’S “SAMANTHA WHO?”

“My Best Friend’s Boyfriend” – Sam and Todd go on a double date with Andrea and her dream crush – pro basketball player Tony Dane. But when Todd makes an awkward discovery about Tony that could doom the relationship, Sam decides to meddle in Tony’s affairs in order to keep her friend from being hurt. Meanwhile, Dena asks for Regina’s help when she inadvertently strikes up an online pen pal relationship with a lonely soldier and worries that boyfriend Chase may become jealous, on “Samantha Who?,” THURSDAY, MARCH 26 (8:30-9:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

Guest starring are Stephen Rannazzisi as Seth and McKinley Freeman as Tony Dane.

FEELING HER BIOLOGICAL CLOCK TICKING AND DESIROUS OF A BABY, SAM BORROWS DENA’S DOG IN AN ATTEMPT TO FIND OUT IF SHE’S NURTURING ENOUGH TO CARE FOR SOMETHING OTHER THAN HERSELF, ON ABC’S “SAMANTHA WHO?”

“The Dog” – When Sam feels her biological clock ticking away and realizes her desire to be a mother, she tries to probe her own motherly instincts by borrowing Dena’s dog to find out if she’s nurturing enough to care for and love it. Meanwhile, Regina attempts pilot lessons when she learns that Howard’s late step-brother has willed them a plane, and Andrea continues to fuel the tabloid fires while she dates famous pro-basketball star Tony Dane, on “Samantha Who?,” THURSDAY, APRIL 2 (8:30-9:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

Guest starring are Barry Finkel as funeral director, Laurie Naughton as mother, Cooper Thornton as instructor and Mary Alyce Kania as waitress.
