Desperate Housewives: Lesbians and Lovers

Desperate Housewives: Lesbians and Lovers

Last night’s episode of “Desperate Housewives” was pretty enjoyable, except for Preston’s horrible fake mustache. It looked like he glued a caterpillar on his face. It was not a good look.

Katherine began telling people about her and Robin. Susan was stunned, Mike was picturing things in his head, and Bob and Lee talked to her about switching from meat to fish. Katherine wasn’t sure if she was a lesbian, or if this was a one time thing. They advised she date Robin and see if the feelings were still there. Robin, however, it seemed wasn’t about to let her new lover try and chalk this up to a one time drunk thing! I really like these two, but the news they may both be leaving the show at the end of the season makes me sad. Both actresses have booked new pilots.

The Katherine drama, along with Susan paying off his loans, left Mike feeling like less of a man in this episode. Yawn. This story was a bit of a bore for me.

Preston returned from Europe with a Russian Gold digger in toe that he was going to marry. Lynette was not about to let her son marry this floozy. She tried to get rid of her by switching her grandmother’s engagement ring for a cheap knock off, but when Preston gave it to her, she decided the family heirloom was worth too much to the family . . . Preston could buy her a new ring. Yeah, she’s no dummy, and Lynette’s plan didn’t work out. It’s game on between Lynette and the Russian Floozy! I don’t like this girl, and I really don’t like the fake mustache! I wanted to just rip it off his face.

Andrew was pretty jealous when Bree made Sam a vice president of the company. However later she learned Sam had secrets, namely he was Rex’s first child! Bree found a photo of Sam as a kid and a young Rex. Sam claimed Rex fathered him during a one night stand, and then he met Bree. Sam said his mother made Rex stop coming around and was too proud to take money from him. Sam said he used to spy on Bree’s house when he was a kid, always riding by on his bike and imagining what it would be like to be part of their family. Okay first, I don’t trust Sam at all and his story is suspect. Did he perhaps photoshop the photo because he’s obsessed with Bree? If he is Rex’s kid though, do we really think his mother just happened to die recently of illness? Did he kill her and hide the body in the backyard? Yeah, he has secrets still!

Angie and Gabby went to New York after Tylor/Danny and Anna. Tylor went to see his grandma, as did Angie. We of course learned the secret we all knew, the mysterious Patrick is Tylor’s real father. Angie returned home with Tylor/Danny, while Anna stayed in New York to continue modeling. I think she’s one character we can just write out at this point. A pointless character we don’t need on the show.

Angie confessed her story, or some of it, to Gabby on the way home. She claimed she was an environment radical, and met Patrick, who got her involved in some dangerous stuff which resulted in someone dying. She said she’d been on the run, and Danny was his kid. An environmentalist? Really? I think that part had to be a lie. If it’s not, that’s a disappointing story for sure! In the end a neighbor of Angie’s mother squealed to Patrick as to where Angie was currently living, so we know who will be coming to town soon!
