Pretty Little Liars: Ring On It!

The latest episode was a little light on “A” and a little more heavy on “love.”

Hannah spent most of the episode matchmaking for Lucas and another girl at school. She also learned that Caleb was staying with Lucas until he could figure out what to do.

Spencer and Toby also did the love dance, both finally saying “I love you.” Toby took a job working for Allison’s brother Jason, and this worried Spencer. She knows someone other than Jason is in that house!

We learned via flashbacks that Allison seemed to fear her brother and his friends. Also she threatened to tell her grandma what a loser her brother was, which would result in him being cut out of the will . . . . so Jason REALLY had a motive to kill her!

-A sent Emily a fake acceptance college letter to force her mom to let her stay in Rosewood . . . so -A could continue to play “cat and mouse” with her.

Aria found herself in a college level art class along with Jenna, it of course wasn’t pretty.

Finally Spencer tried to reach out to her sister, saying she hoped her sister might defend and protect her over . . . someone who wasn’t her. Melissa of course couldn’t be bothered with Spencer, telling her not to think about making her pick between her and Ian.

Spencer found, and pawned, a diamond engagement ring . . . my guess is Melissa’s. She needed the money to buy Toby supplies he needed so he didn’t work work Jason and could freelance. However at the end of the show . . . we saw the mystery person buying the ring back before Spencer could!

Also, the end had the girls spying on Melissa meeting her ex-husband-to-be outside Jason’s house and getting a bag of something. The girls suspect pain meds for Ian . . . but clearly it must be something bigger . . . . It can’t be that easy can it?

I’d like to think Jason and Melissa both know Ian is hiding at Jason’s house . . . . but that seems too obvious. I do think both Melissa and Jason know far more about Allison and her death than what they claim.

As for “Chloe King” . . . once again I found myself feeling Ehhhh! It didn’t hold my interest enough that I didn’t let myself get distracted during it. I’m hoping they have a marathon over the holiday weekend so I can sit down and force myself to watch them all 🙂
