Army Wives: Enter The New Recruits!
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the show has cast Ashanti, Torrey Devitto and Elle McLemore as the three new wives to join the show this season.
Ashanti is best known as a singer-songwriter, but has appeared in a few movies. She’ll play Latasha Durant, mother of three. One of her children suffers from Cystic Fibrosis.
Torrey Devitto is probably best known as Dr. Meredith Fell from “The Vampire Diaries” and Spencer’s older sister Melissa on “Pretty Little Liars.” She’ll be playing Maggie Hall, and ex Army Airborne ranger who is now a truck driver. She’s married to a staff sergeant and each of them bring a child from a previous marriage.
Elle McLemore is a Broadway stage veteran and will be playing Holly Gordon. She’s a farm girl and a new bride to a soldier. She misses her home, and appears to be Roxie 2.0.
