Once Upon A Time Gets Frozen

10312414_649108341811330_7938235914102532133_n So last night was the big two-hour finale on “Once Upon A Time.” As much I’ve enjoyed this second half of the season, that was one hour too long. That really could have been edited into one hour. Rather than recap everything, I’m simply going to post my thoughts on what is going on.

First up, I can’t remember how we got Jiminy/Dr. Hopper back. Wasn’t he dead? All of the sudden he has just popped up out of nowhere.

Speaking of dead, it seems like Zelena really is gone. They claimed once she died, the power in her amulet was no longer tethered to her, and it was this that enacted her curse. I am going to choose not to believe that so that they can possibly bring her back at some point.

More on the dead! The Maid Marian twist confused the hell out of me. I swear she died of some kind of disease with Robin by her side, not executed by Regina. Or maybe it was in childbirth? I just know it wasn’t like last night’s episode. Regardless, if she lived and Emma freed her, wouldn’t that have had a huge ripple effect? When Hook and Emma returned home, Maid Marian should have been with Robin the whole time, but she wasn’t. Why? Also, if Robin had Marian, he wouldn’t have fallen for Regina, and Regina’s heart wouldn’t be broken now. I really hated that they ruined Regina’s happiness and have made her backslide into a vendetta against Emma that was similar to hers against Snow.

Snow and Charming named their baby boy Neil. I was really hoping that they could have changed things and saved Neil. Perhaps that could still happen?

Regina warned Emma that she had better hope she didn’t bring anything else back with what she changed in the past. Cue the shot to the portal where Elsa from “Frozen” emerged. Oh boy! A lot of people feel this is just too soon. I just hope they do it right.

With “Once Upon A Time In Wonderland” canceled, they are said to be bringing Will/The Knave of Hearts over to “Once” next season. With “Revolution” also canceled, I hope they can find a way to bring Sydney/The Mirror back too . . . even though I think they killed him off. It’s been so long!

  1. Jimminy wasn’t dead. Cora made it look like Regina or somebody had killed him but it was somebody else. I think it was Hook that asked her who it was in the casket (as she had done some sort of masking spell) and she said she had no clue. And I think you’re right about Maid Marian being killed either with a sickness or childbirth.

  2. Maid Marian died in childbirth. At least that used to the story. Who knows now.
They released her, knocked her out and brought her with them so that it didn’t affect the future. That’s why everything stayed the same.

  3. Oh that’s right, i forgot about Cora’s involvement with Jiminy’s death!

I missed where they brought Marian with them. I was getting a bit bored lol.

The writers claim Robbin saved Marian’s life, and she later died off screen and we don’t know how . . . Now we do lol

  4. I’m sorry but if in the “original” story the wicked witch executed Marian, don’t you think Robbin would be a little more angry with her and not fall in love with her? LOL

  5. Finally watched OUAT last night and all I can say is grrrr. Will I actually have to watch Frozen to figure out all of the tie ins to it? After all of the stupid Let it Go remixes and what not, it turned me off to watching it.

Also, where the hell did Catherine come from?

  6. Oh that was the other thing that bothered me too, that she suddenly was back. I couldn’t remember what happened to her. Last I thought we saw she tried to leave town with her true prince and they disappeared or something.
