True Blood: The Cure For Hep-V

True Blood: The Cure For Hep-V

So last night we got some major answers on “True Blood.” It was Sookie who unknowingly infected Bill. She cut herself to draw the Hep-V vamps out, and got splattered with their blood, infecting her and later infecting Bill who drank from her. Oops! I did wonder how with all that blood being splattered nobody managed to get infected. Bill’s disease is out of control and he likely has hours left. I’m guessing that’s the affect of the fairy blood mixed with the disease.

A spurned Violet has decided to take things out on Adeline and Wade, who she kidnapped at the end of this episode. They had run away to be together as they are in love, and Andy wasn’t thrilled when he found them “doing the deed.”

It turns out Lettie Mae isn’t crazy after all. Lafayette did V with her to try and put her delusions to rest, and he too saw Tara. She sent them on a mission to the house she lived in growing up. There is something there they have to see or do for her.

Finally we learned, as I somewhat guessed last week, that Sarah Newland does have the cure for Hep-V. Actually she IS the cure. She drank the antidote and now her blood is the cure. But will she be found in time to save Eric, Bill and others? I’m thinking Eric is not going to make it out of the season alive honestly. I’m not even sure about Bill at this point with how fast his disease is spreading.

It was just another OK episode of “True Blood.” It makes me sad to say that at this point I’m okay with it all ending.

On another note, I have been watching “The Leftovers” which airs right after “True Blood.” I will probably start a blog on it. It annoys me to no end, and I can’t stand half the characters, but yet I keep watching it! A lot of my rants about it can be found on my Twitter.

  1. I agree. I was sad to see it go but with the way that this season is going I am ok with it. It’s been very mediocre. I’ve actually been letting it go to my DVR and watching Witches of East End instead.
